Money exchange office located in the hotel, unfriendly staff.

This is a modern hotel with facilities which we expect in a Western hotel. Room design is first class with air conditioning. I was very impressed with everything. Location was very good and having money exchange on site was great

Security staff were not friendly and should learn to smile and greet guests. I think that a hotel "welcoming pack" should be given to guests including how to operate air conditioning. Info about Donetsk and what is in city would be very useful.

The staff was really helpful, cooperative and friendly

The only negative thing we found is that in the room we booked as a double one we found only 1 set of towels/bath robe. As we checked in really late we didn't have any wish to discuss it with the reception, otherwise I'm sure it would be resolved without any problem : )

Most of the staff understood some English. Very friendly.

Room a little small.

Great stuff, especiallt the reseption. Always eager to help on everything with a good English (it is a very big plus in this country.) Room was mainly well-kept, clean. Bed was comfy.

Just a little far (25-30 min walking distance) from the main square at Artema Str. but the taxi is cheap and walkable if the weather is nice.

Staff is super friendly and speaks English very well. Compared to other Russian/Ukrainian hotels, I got the best service possible, unexpected actually. Also, the staff are all very beautiful ladies and smiles a lot. Food is pretty good. Rooms are clean.

It's very strange way to go into the hotel. The room and bathroom is a little small. No room service menu in my room. It got a little cold at night. The pool seems nice but too many families and people.

Good Value for money.

They don´t accept to pay by cash. Location a little far from the center of the city

It is city center. there is a bus from airport to sharktar plaza ( street ) there is also a shop which we can load credit for sim cards

Wifi works almost at the all spots in the hotel.hotel team is helpful and friendly and the price was really worthed for this class.

They must definately change or educate the waiters and waitress who works in the restaurant(next to the reception). If you dont shake ur hand for 5 min,they never see you and bring menu. Several times I went to them and asked for menu cuz they never watch the guests.. Just spending time around bar. Once there was not english menu. All english menus were got by someone and they didnt even try to find english menu. They just said "no english menu". Shaktar plaza is the best hotel in the city and they should have better waiters and waitresses in their restaurant. The second negative point is their taxi service. I took taxi from hotel to the railway station and the taxi driver tried to charge me 237 grivnas(23€). Thankfully I ve been in ukraine before and I know the taxi fares.that distance deserves 50 60 grivnas at most(5-6€) anyway.. I paid 100 after a short argument. So they should talk to their taxi service not to try fooling the tourists.

A taxi from airport to the hotel is around 70 UAH, though if ordered via hotel - 250 UAH.

No wardrobe in a classic double room - just the set of coathangers.

It is in city center. The room was good. other services in hotel was very good ( to load balance for cell phone sim card, exchange service ) -- 24 hours..

Be careful about minibar ! you should say "I do not want minibar, take all of them". Do not order meal in hotel. It is too expensive !

Everything is incredibly perfect!!!! I've never seen something like that in Ukraine

It was clean and there are nice foods in the reustraunt indeed.

I had a couple of problems during my stay; It was the first time I heard fitness center was not included in the price. It was not even mentined in booking.com. I paid extra 100 UAH each time. Though there were a lot of personnel inside the hotel. I could not manage to get a taxi for a reasonable time and nobody helped me. It was really weird. The most annoying one was; while I was reading in my laptop in the reception area I put my feet on the table and one hotel clerck like a bodygurad asked me to take my feet down from table (he doesn' t speak any english by the way). Once I asked for a manager of him he has gone.

This is a 4 starts with the quality of a 5 stars. Fiendly personnel . A very good hotel , in a good position , witha very reasonable price.

It is near city center

I really liked this hotel, was great and luxury with very small price. Thanks again to all personals. Specially to Yulya,Ann at reception also Roman the bellboy.

Highly recommended, the hotel staff is excellent. I send and recieve many e-mails from the managers of the hotel. They allow me to early checkin late checkout. The room was very clean, the service was excellent. I asked the hotel to pick me up from the airport, they send me a hugeg car. I came to the hotel in a real comfort.

A little bit far from old center of the city. They dont give tooth paste and brush normally. But if you call the front desk they will give you these stuff immediately. The view of the windows is not good for ordinary rooms if you care. Bathroom is a little small if you have much cosmetics stuff.
