Valencia Hotel  

Stayed here for just one night and had to leave early morning (5.30). The hotel arranged the fair-priced taxi, and called us when he was there in the morning and waited until we were in the taxi. Very good service.

The location feels a bit unsafe at night, since it is in an alley which is quite dark. Nothing happened, but rated the location 'fair' because of this feeling.

Extremely nice staff and clean comfortable rooms. Will stay at Valencia often.

Staff was very accommodating and curtious. The room was large and clean though a bit old. Location is incredible just a five minute walk to restaurants and bars. I will stay there again when I return in July.

excellent location, clean rooms, helpful staff...

I was informed that they could provide breakfast with a certain amount of money. Therefore, in my very first morning they said sorry no breakfast for now. It was a massive disappointment for me. However, it did not take me too much to overcome it, because there are plenty of cafes around the hotel. This just affected my budget negative though.

The rooms are very clean, big and comfortable. Also hotels location is indespensible. You can easily go anywhere.

Main entrance door is locked down after 1 am so I will feel sad to wake up the employee for open the door. My conscience is more relieved if the door is not locked down :)

exellent hotel in exellent city

We arrived at the Valencia off a flight into Simferopol fairly late in the evening so we could rest before travelling around the Crimea. After some hassle at the airport with unofficial taxi drivers (ask somebody in authority to call an official taxi for around 100 Hrv to the Valencia) we arrived to be welcomed into a modern clean and simple room with great bathroom, comfortable bed,unobtrusive air conditioning and wifi. A bank to change money at a good rate right next door and a nice little restaurant to have breakfast in the morning completed the deal, a quiet hotel in a busy part of town a short bus ride from the main rail and bus stations. All the staff were as helpful as their language would allow.. Amazing what you can explain with travellers' sign language and a pen and paper and a few Russian words under your belt. Balshoye Spaseebah to a great little city hotel and its staff.

Like all small Russian / Ukrainian hotels there is no lift so you need to be able to carry your bags by up 2 or 3 flights of stairs. However if in difficulty I'm sure somebody would be found to help you.

Everything about this hotel is very good. Staff very friendly and helpful, hotel is very modern in style, good dining, very good location. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

our non smoking room reeked of smoke and hotel office just shrugged his shoulders no elevator - third floor is a long way

The location is good, in the centre of the city. The hotel administration and staff were very helpful, start to finish.

The restaurant is over-priced; including the optional breakfast. If I were to make a suggestion for improvement, it would be to adjust the restaurant prices. As for the cost of the hotel room, it is more expensive than other accommodation in Simferopol; but, I suppose, we are paying for the location near the city centre.

The service from Oksana could not be beaten, a personal collect from the Airport to a beaut breakfast. For a Budget, hidden away Hotel in a strange city, could not be beaten......Kevin W.

Poor location and hard to find.....

this is a small hotel in the historic part of Simferopol. the neighborhood might have looked a bit shabby, but since we arrived lated from Koktybel and were staying there only for one night it was ok. the hotel e-mail us to confirm the reservation and also offered to meet us at the airport which was very nice. upon arrival, the staff was very helpful in providing extra towels and linens as there were three of us staying in the room. taking into account the generally low level of customer orientation in Crimea, we found our Valencia Hotel experience very pleasant.

The restrauent there was excellent. The staff was very good.

Bed was somewhat hard. The shower was just big enough for a piss ant. There was no clock-radio. There was no desk. There was no dresser.

A very clean, new hotel. Very good situated. The best choice for the best price.

We (2 adults and two children) stayed 1 night in the hotel before we went back home by plane. We had a very spacious and well maintained room (1 bed and 1 coach). Teh hotel is situated in a quiet neighbourhood and a big supermarket is close by. The restaurant of the hotel serves very nice food. The hotel arranged us a transfer in the early morning (5 AM) to airport for 10€.

Everything was absolutely great. The room was clean and cosy, the staff -polite and friendly. They also have a very good restaurant - good fish and wine, and even my small baby liked their food ))). The whole atmosphere is great. It is situated not far (5 min walk) from shopping centre and entertainment centre and small nice cafes and restaraunts.

No elevator, closed door at night.

Everything was great except for having no additional beds for sleeping. Great service, nice, friendly staff and good location in the middle of the city. Unfortunately their cafe downstairs was rented out to other people and the staff was rude and we had to wait an unacceptionally long time. We had to wait two hours for us to get our food. Never go to this cafe. When you exit the hotel there are many good eateries. The shower had problems with water pressure and heat. Otherwise, it was a nice contemporary style room, large and comfortable. Small fridge allows you to have your own food as well.

We got a very good price for a suite room, which was big and comfortable. The staff provided a paid airport transfer at night for us and it was really of great help.

Some staff's could not understand English. If arrived later in the evening, hard to find the address. The city does not have good leading signs for travellers.

Clean and comfortable, the personnel speaks English fluently which is so rare in Ukraine...

We run out of hot water almost instantly, so the large bath was useless
