Berakfast: it works fine, despite the huge number of people staying in the hotel. If you come to this hotel mainly to visit Yalta, it is not the best located hotel in the city as you need a car or a taxi to go downtown. If you just want to relax, especially with kids, then the place is OK. Rooms are rather small, as well as the bathrooms. Room doors to the corridor are too light, so you may hear noisy neighbours. Prices are rather high and can only be justified if one wants to enjoy the swimming pool and other equipments etc.

Junior A suite experience: International standards are met in almost all aspects: rooms (space, facilities, etc.); general hotel services; main facilities; restaurants/bars (great choice of perfect tastes and styles); swimming pool (seawater); direct access to comfortable local traditional keystone beach with comfortable benches and a cosy on side bar/restaurant; beautifully situated in well maintained nature parc and surrounded by relaxing gardens inviting for a pleasure walk. Although sea-view is promised, in our three suites it was difficult to see more sea than local buildings .... Therefore, make sure you reserve/accept a suite as close as possible to the seaside! Great Ukrainian breakfast, with whatever you can think of for a good breakfast to start your day. All in all: Great experience and for sure a recommendable international resort at a beautiful place (Yalta) in Ukrainian Krim. International English is not widely available in the area, but acceptably in the hotel and its facilities/restaurants/bars it selves. Unfortunately WiFi was not properly available in our suites. Why? A check of wireless signal reception on the different floors with the lesser type of rooms, showed much better reception signal...... Still, in short: Simply try it yourself and get the satisfaction. Note: I am not related to this hotel as such, but consider myself an experience traveller.

Enormous hotel with 1000 bedrooms so you do not expect a silent place but surprisingly enough it has a quick and efficient personnel that makes you forget the coldness of the hotel. The front desk is very friendly and helpful Lots of activities for children in the poolside (salty water , warm and olympic size) . The only recommendation is to try to book a junior suite as you can enjoy the 16th floor breakfast room with a breathtaking view. Avoid the hotel restaurants .... slow and unfriendly personnel.

I like the hotel's beach and pool. I like the place where it located. I like the atmosphere of happiness, best I've seen on Crimea. It's a place when you can be isolated from standard crimean stupid things. I don't like that restaurants are not vegan or vegetarian friendly, don't like quality of some old architecture stuff (they need to rework some things made in Soviet Union).

We stayed for 6 days. Staff was kind and helpfull and we had no issues during our stay. It's a 15 min walk to city center. Rooms with updated interiors are fine. There is balcony to every room with nice view from upper floors. Within the hotel there is 6-7 restaruants and they serve good meals both european and local. There is also private beach. Pool was dirty..Breakfast you have the basics, nothing special. Hotels we stayed in Lviv and Kiev served better. Sometimes fresh towels for bathroom had stains on.

Natural location, variety of facilities available, amazing pool Standard rooms are awful and unlivable for a westerner, comfort rooms are better but too small, specially for two, mattress in comfort room is like a cardboard hard, very cheap furniture, bad is too low. Overpriced for comfort room, standard room should not be offered at all..

Everthing was perfect. However the hotel is close to center of Yalta, the direct road to center is closed. If you have car, you have to drive through highway by Massandra. This is time consuming but definetely it is not hotel's fault.

Excellent value for money. I had a room with a great view from the balcony overlooking Yalta, and the sun hit the balcony from 3 in the afternoon, so could soak in the rays. Good location, about 30 minutes walk from the centre of Yalta. The gardens were lovely to wander in and even though the hotel had a lot of guests, these gardens were almost deserted. The staff were great: the ladies at guest relations were very helpful with ideas for trips. Useful to have shops there and I got a good haircut in the salon. Breakfast was good. Lots of restaurants to choose from during the day and even an all night restaurant. The beds were pretty uncomfortable. Hard mattresses, meaning I had to sleep on my back or else do my shoulders an injury! I was also unlucky enough to have a room next to a Russian couple who never seemed to stop talking and the noise carried a little through the walls. There was no airport bus, despite their website vaguely stating it was available: what they did offer was a minibus into Yalta from where you could catch a bus to the airport. Cable TV was Russian only. Would have been nice to have a shop selling snacks.

The restaurants had excellent views of the harbour. The staff were very courteous and efficient. The breakfast was fine, offering a wide selection. This hotel is a prime example of the quality of the rooms not matching the opulence of the lobby. Our room was small, outdated and uncomfortable. The bathroom was very uninviting and we had to search the small print of the hotel guide to find that the water was not recommended to drink. We had to purchase bottled water. The bed was one of the most uncomfortable we have ever experienced. It was like sleeping on a box spring. The wood around the door frames was chipped and very shabby. This was true of all the doors in the hallway of our floor. There were not enough outlets in the room and the bathroom smelled like backed up sewage. When we got of the elevator the hallway was drab, institutional and unwelcoming. This is the biggest hotel in Yalta and has to be the worst. It is typical of what the Soviet era was all about - cold, stark, and institutional.
