Good location! It is very easy to access to all famous places by walk. There are very good restraunts, bar and DELI. I could not use good price package of the internet communication fee. On last May, I used special volume discount for 6 days internet fee.

Location is great (3 small blocks from Grand central). we got relatively big room, reasonable bed for US standards, not too soft. The stuff respectrd the dont disturb sign. Free WiFi only from the lobby, same network from the room is 15$ per day (my samsung phone kept finding the non free net even in the lobby most of the time). their pc will also cost u, except for printing boarding passes. The room had pretty aged bathroom which ran the fan all the time, yet started smelling after 3 days. Perhaps us stopping the freezing AC was to blame, but we just don't like AC...

Keskellä kaupunkia, rauhallinen, intiimi hotelli, jossa nuorekas, rento tunnelma ja ystävällinen palvelu. The room didn't include a kettle which was a small minus.

The staff are very helpful and the facilities were great. The internet charges in the room are too expensive (around USD 14 for 24hours). Other hotels we get it for free.

Judging from travellers reviews of other new york hotels this room was huge by New York standards. We were very comfortable in our room which was impeccably clean and had a wonderful shower. Staff were always friendly and ready to accommodate our needs and advise us on the good places to eat nearby. The location is also perfect with many of manhattans attractions within walking distance but just far enough from all the noise/hustle and bustle of time's square. Grand central station is closeby making the subway an easy option to take for transport. If I return to New York in the future I will definitely stay at the St Giles again and would certainly recommend it to others travelling there.

The room was surprizingly large and the location was very convenient, just a few blocks from subway. The front desk staff was great, especially the young woman who checked us in. A good location for going both downtown and uptown. Breakfast could be improved. We had to change our keys 3 times in 6 days because they stopped working in the elevator or our room door, but perhaps this was because they came into contract with cell phones.

The location is fantastic, the room is really big and the bathroom is good. Olding reception should best the coursiege could be more helpful and really try assist guests, breakfasts could be better and cheaper they offer, but exist nearby cafés that are very good and worth more worthwhile. Cleaning is ok, but we were three days without soap, although we asked at reception on the first day. The internet in the lobby is sometimes very slow ...

The staff are helpful, efficient and always available. The location is excellent. The bathroom tub/shower needs to be replaced as it is narrow and difficult to stand to take a shower while the shower head is old.

Fantastic location close to everything, rooms are very large and comfortable. The staff at the front desk were very unfriendly, upon our check in the guy at the front desk was very rude and patronising when we asked if its possible to book a car to the airport. Bathrooms are very outdated.

Great location, huge rooms, great value, friendly staff (most). The hotel is about to undergo major renovations, so it is likely to upgrade many of the cosmetic challenges. Lovely to have a breakfast shop/cafe, where you can pick what you want. The building has history and stories, if you have a chance ask about the back private room and who had dinner there in the 1940's and 50'S. Would totally recommend it to city travelers, business travelers......will come again. The walls are a bit thin, the room next to us had a noisy party, but that is common in hotels in New York. The surly receptionist at 2am was not at all helpful, but the rest of the hotel staff made up for it.....one last point, house cleaning at 9am on a Sunday.......um, little early???
