I've been there twice this year The second time we go tan excellent view
We were not allowed to leave an empty bag while www entre to Boston
Amazing location and staff. They couldn't have been more helpful. I contacted the hotel weeks before our arrival and they even agreed for me to have some packages delivered to the hotel prior to my arrival. The room was comfortable, clean and well kitted out with all the things we needed (although my wife did morn the absence of a kettle!). Cannot recommend this perfectly located reasonably priced manhattan hotel.
Wifi was temperamental
location, size of room, boutique feel
Location - it was central, yet quiet. I slept so well every night. It felt so safe too, & we had a wonderful view of the Empire State Building out of our window. We could walk back from 5th avenue after a shopping trip. The room was very spacious with a sitting area too, and very clean.
The bar wasn't fantastic, but then there were lots of other lovely cocktail bars close by. Wifi was on the slow side and a little unreliable.
- location is very central - spacious rooms
-airconditioning is very loud -wifi connection is bad at some times
Spacious rooms, great bathroom, closet area, plenty of space which is rare in a Ny hotel, comfy bed, convenient location, silent neighbourhood
Lack of kettle in the room and no room service after 11 pm is something u dont expect from a hotel at this cost
Very nice hotel, few minutes from public transport (Grand Central station) All Midtown in walkable distance. Clean, we liked the design (personal taste of course), especially the bathroom.
We were not planning to have breakfast in the hotel and that was good plan because it didn't look very inviting.
Nice Hotel. Very good value. Good design
Loved that the Staff recognized that I frequently stay at the Court, and treated me as special as they do there. My room was absolutely beautiful
Nothing. It was a great stay!
My partner and I booked a two nights stay and had a great time The room was everything that the website described There was a discrepancy with the meal plan that was offered with my stay through booking.com It stated 20 per person per night for a breakfast plan But we ended up with a two-day credit for continental breakfast Not sure where the communications went wrong on that But the Tuscany did their best to rectify the situation
The mini bar was completely overpriced Also the hotel could use some outside space courtyard , rooftop , excetra
Studio was bright when we arrived in afternoon and LARGE
Room size was very generous, especially for NYC.
Wish they had coffee makers in the room.
Staff, Location, Room size, decor, Hotel size
Told we were getting "upgraded" and given a handicap room with no place to put toiletries and a shower that soaked the bathroom floor. Just be honest about what it is.
the location was goood
the rates were very high comparing other hotels in the same disctict included park avenue
The Room is Big for NY
They didn't allowe to leave 1 empty bag , between both stays with 7 days of difference,at the same hotel, of course This is allowed in a y other hotel
Room size Comfort Staff
Hairball from someone's hairbrush on bathroom floor.
price, location, cheerful front desk, free wifi, comfortable bed
$4 cups of coffee one towel per person broken reading lamp - requested repair 1st day of 4 day stay - never happened too far north for visiting NYU
Room size Customer care Staff Quality of furnishings Bathroom Location
Location is great Room was large and well appointed Bathroom was large and shower was just super Staff were friendly and helpful
The air conditioning/heating system did not work properly, room was too hot for sleeping and the unit made so much noise that one could not hear the TV!!
Location was great. Staff bent over backwards to help. Small family atmosphere yet very private. Rooms were fantastic
Toilet ran all night
Great location, friendliness of the staff, large and nicely decorated room, extremely comfortable bed! View to the Chrysler Building from our window.
The room would have benefitted from some more mirrors, in particular a full length mirror was lacking. Apart from this, all good!
Size of the room was excellent and I believe quite unusual for Manhattan. Good location for everything: station, walking, shopping, sight seeing
When we asked to change rooms to one with a bath (I forgot you need to soak your feet after walking for hours) they said they had none. However the next day they found one for which I was really grateful, but we felt we had asked for something too much. At £270 a night for a room and no breakfast I wouldn't have thought a smile was too much to ask for, considering that bit was free. We felt we really had asked for a little too much for our money.
After shopping and dining and walking the city all day/night long...I could return to a quiet street, clean room with great bedding to relax and sleep...very peaceful.
My shower was not working exactly right and made a high pitch noise while using it.
The tuscony and sister property are well located and a good value. There were a few issues... My original stay was for the Tuscony. The TV was on the blink and while not super important if I was going to be there for two days and it could not be fixed it would be an issue. The manager at the time bent over backwards to figure a solution. In they moved me next store to the St. Giles Court to a large view suite. It was a nice gesture and more than made up the inconvenience. The only issue with the court was one of two elevators was down my entire stay...it happens but caused delays getting up and down from my room on the 16th floor. The staff was very helpful at all times and Carlos the day porter was terrific.,I would stay again.
We stayed here for our honeymoon in August, we had the most fantastic stay, we had a complimentary upgrade to a corner suite it was amazing, extremely spacious, elegant & very clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, the decor was furnishings were very modern + the view from our room was of the Chrysler Building was stunning, staff were extremely helpful + courteous especially Nakia on the reception desk. Free wifi in the rooms was great. Excellent location, a few mins walk to Grand Central Station, close to Empire State Building & Times Square. We would highly recommend this hotel and will most definitely be visiting The Tuscany Hotel again !!!
