After shopping and dining and walking the city all day/night long...I could return to a quiet street, clean room with great bedding to relax and sleep...very peaceful.

My shower was not working exactly right and made a high pitch noise while using it.

The tuscony and sister property are well located and a good value. There were a few issues... My original stay was for the Tuscony. The TV was on the blink and while not super important if I was going to be there for two days and it could not be fixed it would be an issue. The manager at the time bent over backwards to figure a solution. In they moved me next store to the St. Giles Court to a large view suite. It was a nice gesture and more than made up the inconvenience. The only issue with the court was one of two elevators was down my entire happens but caused delays getting up and down from my room on the 16th floor. The staff was very helpful at all times and Carlos the day porter was terrific.,I would stay again.

    Faulty elevators

We stayed here for our honeymoon in August, we had the most fantastic stay, we had a complimentary upgrade to a corner suite it was amazing, extremely spacious, elegant & very clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, the decor was furnishings were very modern + the view from our room was of the Chrysler Building was stunning, staff were extremely helpful + courteous especially Nakia on the reception desk. Free wifi in the rooms was great. Excellent location, a few mins walk to Grand Central Station, close to Empire State Building & Times Square. We would highly recommend this hotel and will most definitely be visiting The Tuscany Hotel again !!!

Rooms are very spacious especially for NY standards. Great location, near Grand Central station. Quiet hotel, in a nice neighborhood

Could have used better bed sheets. Kind of worn and tired looking. Uncomfortable to sleep in first few nights. They were changed and no problems after that.

It is located very coveniently near Grand Central station and 10 min walk to Empire state building. It has very big rooms/ bathroom. Very clean and very comfortable bed.

    A bit too pricey.

really spacious room, great bed, this hotel is what it is, nothing more nothing less. Low prices huge rooms (talking for NYC). Nice view of Chrysler building too. Great location just 2 minutes from grand central station. This hotel was really a pleasant surprise though i moved there after a week of stay in warwick hotel which was almost double the price and half the space.

No safe box in my room, no slippers. but no problem

The hotel has just been renovated so the rooms are new. They are also huge on a New York scale.

The hotel has all the pretequisites to be a great experience, but the service is just not up to scratch. The front desk did the minimum they needed to which would have been ok if they had smiled once in a while. As is, we were left with a bad taste in our mouths. When we checked in the room was dusty and the bathroom floor and toilet had clumps of hair. Housekeeping also consistently did not replace our drinking glasses. One of the times I called and asked for glasses and they said they were all out and asked if we could not use the one glass from the bathroom. Even with the big, new room would not recommend this hotel due to the service experience.

I liked the location and the price. It was also very spacious.

Well the only complaint was that one night we said we wanted a cab and the guy at reception said the doorman on the outside would assist but when we got outside there was no doorman.

Great beds, nice design. Loved it and I am picky !

The location is a bit quiet (few restaurants and shops around) but this can either be seen as positive or negative so depends on your taste.

    Room size and location.

Unfriendly staff. Bad room service, bad food and had to wait over 30 minutes for a bucket of ice.

the location was a good one

The elevators were noisy and loud. The noise starts in the morning and you wake up with this noise. The heating and cooling unit is also loud and vibrating when it works. There is no space to put your stuff in the bathroom even your tooth brush

The location only 3 blocks from Central Station. Good dining with lots of variety within easy walking distance. Large well appointed room with a great shower.

Not much. We really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary. The location was perfect and the hotel was perfect and updated, which was just what we were looking for. The staff was very accommodating and gave us some great recommendations for places to go for drinks as well. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great hotel in Midtown!

Almost everything about the Tuscany is great. It is one of the few hotels in New York that I always enjoy staying at. The location, Murray Hill district, is fantastic and is littered with loads of eateries, pubs and places to go out in the evening. It is also very close to Grand Central and many other attractions.

Quiet neighborhood, a Starbucks close by, food options aplenty in the area. Grand Central was an easy 5 minute walk when it was time for us to leave. Most importantly the bed was so comfortable that my wife asked if I thought that they would notice if she were to try to take it home with her.

One issue only. The drapes in the room were all broken so they couldn't raise to let light in. Front desk said they were defective and are being replaced one by one.

Simple but it covers all the basics needs. Very quiet. Good location. It was perfect for us.

The bed could have been a little newer and the bed sheets were basic hotel sheets. Could be a tad better quality, more cotton, less synthetic.
