Close to transportation
We had a fantastic stay at The Court. The hotel had chic touches, and was in a very central, convenient location. The staff was wonderful - extremely friendly and helpful!
Very expensive drinks in the bar. We booked a show through the concierge that was 50 dollars per ticket more than the price on the ticket when we collected them from the box office.
Great location, within walking distance of all the tourist spots. 2 minutes walk to Grand central. Staff were really friendly. Rooms are big for NY hotels, ours had a walk in wardrobe.
Room didn't have desk to work
The Court has excellent location and comfort to stay in NYC. By the way, good bar. A lot of restaurants nearby.
Heaters were all set for airconditioning which I did not discover until three in the morning being cold despite setting the temperature to 73 Bathroom too tight and small
good size room
Perhaps needs a bit of updating
Great staff ,comfortable spacious rooms and fab beds.
Loved anything about our stay. On arrival we were upgraded to a suite which made our stay even better. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back
In the adjacent restaurant, Buns & Brews, the management needs to staff up. I don't think they are very busy, but we had a group of 12+ come in and they were definitely not prepared. There was one cook and 2 servers, and we waited almost an hour for some sliders. Our server was very embarrassed and was apologizing profusely. He was very gracious and I felt bad that poor staffing reflected badly on his ability to provide a better experience. Hopefully management sees this.
The staff was amazing. Chase was extremely attentive and gracious. Within 10 minutes of getting into our room, he called to see if everything was to our liking. And, when our friend, who was staying at the hotel, injured her knee, Jonathan found us a wheelchair and let us use it over the next several days. Had we not had the wheelchair our friend would have had to fly back to California and end the trip early.
Decent hotel in general, exellent located. Internet was solid.
Walking distance to Times Square, Empire State Building, grand central terminal, shops, restaurants. Very large room, and bathroom, friendly and helpful staff, excellent food..
Sometimes Poor wifi reception in the bedroom.
Great location close to grand central station. Trains from there take you to downtown in few minutes. Room was big and the bed comfortable.
The hotel room carpets are badly worn and were filthy. When I mentioned this, the clerk made note of it. There is no microwave, kettle or coffee maker in the room.
I upgraded to a suite without asking and it was great for my 2 week stay.
Reception and hallway was too dark. The lifts were small.
Nice clean accommodation and staff were always very helpful and polite
A very small complaint--the free wifi required a new log in every time you signed in, and it didn't always connect very quickly.
Even though I booked through a discount site, I asked for and received a room on the top floor with a beautiful view of the Empire State building. Even though the room was crowded (with a king-sized bed, couch, and large writing desk) it was still easy to work inside. It is also close to tons of quick breakfast places, lunch counters, and sit-down dinner restaurants.
The windows are badly isolated and in the end the noise from Lexington Ave became a little too much. I would have enjoyed the comfort of the room much more if it would not have been so noisy. The room service was totally overpriced.
The staff was very friendly and professional. The Hotel had double charged me and repaired the mistake within hours.
Not a bad experience. This was our 45h or 5th time. I like the hotel very much. The room was small, but it was not expensive. It was not the fault of the hotel that on 3.8/15 the elevators were being upgraded or repaired (one did not know) and we had to check out by using the service elevator. Guests could have been informed earlier, but the notice posted by the elevator was not very effective. We managed to find our way to the service elevator, which was packed, but other guests graciously allowed us to enter, since we both use cases and had luggage. I will return in April, hopefully under better circumstances.
Slightly expensive for single traveller.
It could be unfair evaluation for its price because room was really great and nice. Location was also good. However, it is slightly expensive as a single traveller.
good position, near to grand central terminal, empire state building; reasonable price compared with other similar accommodations
Nothing - it was a great hotel
Everyone was very friendly - always enjoy staying here
The double bed is excellent in the junior suite, the sofa-bed is not so good
Big spacious room, 5 minutes walk from Grand Central, nice and cheap restaurants across the street
Great location with only a 15 min walk to Time square. Very comfortable rooms, especially the bed!! I will recommend this hotel to my friends and family and will without hesitation return on my next visit.
Shower let the room down.
Great location, within walking distance of many places but the street is nice and quiet so you're away from the main hustle and bustle. The room was very large and the bed was huge!
A bit noizy becouse of the traffic and de shower is for a very tiny and small person.
The location is very good. It's close to Grand Central where you can go everywhere. The room was very good and all the staff was very nice.
Old fixtures. Water in bath & sink didn't run out. When attempted to lift the stopper for the bath water to run out, there was hair stuck in the drain. Gross! Toilet didn't flush. Ancient heater has some kind of sensor system, so if you block it with a piece of luggage, the heat doesn't work. No one informs you of this by the way. I am convinced the reviews I read that tricked me into booking this hotel were fake. Terrible!
