What a gem! Stayed in the jr. Suite for a 4 day girl trip! I was amazed at the size. 3 closets nice size living area and large bedroom. Very quite location! Perfect location!
corner room quiet
Location is very good closed to restaurants and the main subway station.
Very noisy inside the room. Very old bathrooms and rooms
the nearest hotel to Grand central Lexington ave #101, 102, 103 bus are good & useful. wifi free!!!
WE were upgraded to a spectacular suite!!!! The staff was very friendly and helpful!!!!
Wifi was free but a bit erratic...
Concierge Josh was an awesome help with planning some of my activities. Close to Grand Central station and airport shuttles. I had a view of the Chrysler Building.
Location was fine
Our room smelled like cat pee and cigarette smoke. Awful.
Everything. Excellent check-in experience. Quiet, comfortable room. Wifi worked well. I'd go back.
Can't think of anything to complain about.
Upgrade to the suite, 2 huge pieces
1, bathroom/toilette is too small, The drainpipe is locked up,water cannot go down 2, matress is too soft, hard for my back 3, no kettle in the hotel but coffeemaker only that is not convenient
Great location, staff and space! The front desk lady upgraded is to a 1 bedroom apartment wozu was awesome. This war probably the best value we could have ever gotten in the city!
The building is older and the air conditioner breaker kept going off, so it did get a little stuffy in there, especially when you are trying to sleep.
Spacious and nicely furnished rooms ( I think we were upgraded), but the furniture is a little run down and need to be updated. Nice and helpful staff. Good views from the windows. Close to Grand Central, subway, Bryant Park and Central Park. Nice neighbourhood with good breakfast cafees. This was my third stay at this hotel and I would like to come back.
Miss hand held shower
Great location with 5 min access to subway and Grand Central Very nice and safe neighborhood Comfortable bed Spacious room in NYC standard Nice restaurant at lobby (must try the mini burgers there and sweet potato fries)
Shower room too small and a bit rundown Too big TV table taking up room space Wifi a bit slow and unstable Small lobby always full of people Need a walk outside in the street to gym in another building (even though close)
Great bang for your buck!
Car horns start at 7am. Not the hotels fault.
Close proximity to just about everything in Manhattan. Rooms were fairly quiet (we were on the inside, not on street side). The area seemed very safe, and I didn't feel as though I was in danger at any point. Lots of great restaurants/bars/speakeasys within a very short cab ride.
Extra towels from the start would have been nice. The WiFi wasn't super fast, but it WAS free.
The staff was very helpful and the room was big and comfortable. You also have a bar next to the lobby with a pool table, which was very nice. Was a great time!!!
Price Spacious Room Location
Slightly older furniture
The hotel is located in a great place and you can walk to many of the sights. There is also a subway close by so you can travel further afield. Staff are nice and friendly too and very helpful. A nice touch to also upgrade our room as we were on our honeymoon.
Check in time was delayed by more than an hour!! We and my wife came at 2pm and we're told to return at 3pm when our room would be ready. We left came back and waited till 4:30pm before we got our room. The room was ok but dated and old especially the bathroom. Very much in need of an update.
The girls working at the front desk when we arrived were excellent. They gave us a beautiful room with a balcony and a view of the Chrysler building. It was our first wedding anniversary, and we received a beautiful note under our door - wishing us a happy anniversary. That was written by the same girls working at the front desk when we arrived on Thursday afternoon on September 11th. You made our stay so special! Thank you so much!
Good room service - tasty food and prompt delivery.
Room to which I was assigned needed a makeover - it was shabby and well worn. Moreover, the bathroom, while handicap accessible, was down right dangerous -- especially for anyone in a wheel chair -- due to the sloping shower, poor drainage, and placement of electrical outlets. To use the hand hair dryer and see what you were doing in the mirror, had to have one foot, or part of the wheelchair, in water.
Jennifer was really helpful on Check in. Our room was great and we had a great view of Empire State. Location is perfect with just a short walk to Grand Central.
Had to reconnect to wifi each time you unlocked your mobile device, which was really annoying.
Upgraded upon arrival.
We stayed for over a week and had a very good experience. The front desk staff were welcoming and always amenable to any requests and helpful overall. The lobby was quiet and subdued which was refreshing after the fast paced hustle/bustle of NY street life. We loved the size of our room and the walk in closet. We could really relax in our room. The bed was excellent!
We didn't like having to call every time we needed coffee for our coffeemaker and at times the housekeeping staff were a bit off regarding towel replacement. However these were small issues and generally everyone was very accommodating.
Large room, sparely furnished. Not the dark, cluttered cubicle of many a mid-range NYC hotel room, bright and simple instead.
Wi-fi was unreliable.
Great location very close to grand central station, which is handy to get around. I would recomend to anyone, comfortable and staff were very friendly! The area is quiet, and away from the hustle and bustle off Times Square! But close enough to walk to!
Nothing to comment on ...........................................................................................................
The staff and location are amazing. I had the room over looking the court (or inside the court not sure) and it was amazing it was so silence during the day and night.
A minor point...The shower curtain isn't long enough which makes the water come through.
