size of room size of beds view of Empire State building fact that the heating could be switched off Josh on reception desk who printed out our boarding passes
foyer rather gloomy and not very inviting on arrival "chaise longe" in room very saggy! no coffee making facilities in room wi fi not reliable
Got a free upgrade
A fair walk to Times Square
Changed our room type and I had to sleep on the floor.
Good location and big room Very clean i love this hotel
Terrific value, great location, friendly staff, awesome room, gym, wifi - complete package.
Shower leaks, room cleaning times are a bit eccentric.
We got a free upgrade and it was sooo stunning! The personal was very friendly and the Location was fantastic!
the staff was very accommodating & friendly from housekeeping to front desk, very clean, convenient and can't beat the value
what's not to like?
Had a fantastic time in the big apple, hotel on 39th and Lexington eateries everywhere and close to all attractions
I started the holiday with a new pair of shoes and had to buy new ones as we walked so much lol
Close to Grand Central Walk-able distance to Time Square Free WiFi Clean
Rude male receptionist Dated décor Overpriced Cheap interiors
Locality Close proximity of transport and shopping
Look and feel of reception. Our impression was one of not very inviting and attractive
Location excellent, plus upgrade to a king size room was a bonus.
Attitude of some staff could've been nicer. Room could certainly be cleaner, bathroom was somewhat falling apart, realising there was no kettle to make coffee in the morning (usually free in most hotels) paying $15 for a single black coffee. And a $30 deposit for a cheap half broken umbrella. Still enjoyed my stay though so..
I experienced no problems. The hotel appeared to have been newly grouted in the bathroom, the beds were no only changed but new sheets came daily, the front desk answered every question promptly and accurately. Iwould recommend this hotel to anyone who is considering it. I have no negative comments
Everything perfect !!!!
It is close to Grand Central Station with just around 5-10mins walk.
The hotel does not provide slippers. You will have to bring your own toothbursh as well, or else you will need to pay for it.
Good value for $ spent , location, that fact it was boutique
Bathrooms need updating - housekeeping very noisy in morning(could be because small hotel), only 2 elevators - slow some times
Easy to walk to loads of popular landmarks inc ESB, GCT & Times Square & local diners. Hotel rooms comfy & well equipped (if a little worn in places) & the staff helpful & polite without being overbearing. Would stay again.
Minor makeover would do wonders
The Court was a welcome surprise to this weary Christmas shopper. My single room turned into a large suite complete with full kitchen, huge living room and a balcony overlooking Lexigton Avenue. The views of all the interesting rooftops and rooftop garden hideaways that people never see from the street is a revelation, and when all of the surrounding rooftops are lit with twinkling Christmas lights, its just beautiful. Thanks for the unexpected upgrade.
The bedroom heater was not functioniing, but there were several warm blankets in the closet to throw on the bed.
Nice room, great location.
Room reeked of perfume, wish TV had an HDMI port.
Every one we interacted with was friendly.
When we checked in early, we were told we would be put on a higher floor but were not when we got back to the hotel that evening and the bed in the suite was not made up nor were there linens to do so ourselves. When we checked out we were given another patrons bill.
Loved the modern decor, comfy bed, view of the Empire State Building out our windows, the staff were very nice and helpful--just an overall great stay.
Can't think of a thing!
Size of the room because I booked the junior suite since rooms in NYC seem to be very, very small and claustrophic. The closet space was very good and bathroom was adequate.
The room was clean; however, it was fairly run down. Tears in the carpet as you entered the room. Hole in the couch upholstery. Lamps were difficult to turn on.
Location and friendly staff
Old bathroom fixtures, temp controls didn't work, valet parking was very very slow
Loved the comfortable king size bed and nice sized room. The location was great for the things we did.
Great location. Nice staff--very accommodating. Relaxed atmosphere.
Heard a lot of street noise (even for NY!) from our room during the night.
Location, staff was friendly and very helpful.
Everything is old , furniture needs to be updated, bedspreads need cleaning. Ok for the money but still needs updating.
Room very noisy
