Great location, staff and space! The front desk lady upgraded is to a 1 bedroom apartment wozu was awesome. This war probably the best value we could have ever gotten in the city!
The building is older and the air conditioner breaker kept going off, so it did get a little stuffy in there, especially when you are trying to sleep.
Great bang for your buck!
Car horns start at 7am. Not the hotels fault.
Close proximity to just about everything in Manhattan. Rooms were fairly quiet (we were on the inside, not on street side). The area seemed very safe, and I didn't feel as though I was in danger at any point. Lots of great restaurants/bars/speakeasys within a very short cab ride.
Extra towels from the start would have been nice. The WiFi wasn't super fast, but it WAS free.
The staff was very helpful and the room was big and comfortable. You also have a bar next to the lobby with a pool table, which was very nice. Was a great time!!!
Price Spacious Room Location
Slightly older furniture
The girls working at the front desk when we arrived were excellent. They gave us a beautiful room with a balcony and a view of the Chrysler building. It was our first wedding anniversary, and we received a beautiful note under our door - wishing us a happy anniversary. That was written by the same girls working at the front desk when we arrived on Thursday afternoon on September 11th. You made our stay so special! Thank you so much!
Jennifer was really helpful on Check in. Our room was great and we had a great view of Empire State. Location is perfect with just a short walk to Grand Central.
Had to reconnect to wifi each time you unlocked your mobile device, which was really annoying.
Upgraded upon arrival.
We stayed for over a week and had a very good experience. The front desk staff were welcoming and always amenable to any requests and helpful overall. The lobby was quiet and subdued which was refreshing after the fast paced hustle/bustle of NY street life. We loved the size of our room and the walk in closet. We could really relax in our room. The bed was excellent!
We didn't like having to call every time we needed coffee for our coffeemaker and at times the housekeeping staff were a bit off regarding towel replacement. However these were small issues and generally everyone was very accommodating.
Large room, sparely furnished. Not the dark, cluttered cubicle of many a mid-range NYC hotel room, bright and simple instead.
Wi-fi was unreliable.
Great location very close to grand central station, which is handy to get around. I would recomend to anyone, comfortable and staff were very friendly! The area is quiet, and away from the hustle and bustle off Times Square! But close enough to walk to!
Nothing to comment on ...........................................................................................................
The staff and location are amazing. I had the room over looking the court (or inside the court not sure) and it was amazing it was so silence during the day and night.
A minor point...The shower curtain isn't long enough which makes the water come through.
Great junior suite.
BAD - very BAD Wifi connection ! You should fix this huge problem.
Excellent location, view of empire state, modern and clean room. Prompt room service, good food. Friendly efficient staff, ability to store luggage. Close to grand Central and NYC airporter buses. Would definitely stay again!
Nothing not to like !
On arrival we were told our room had been double booked but we were upgraded to the executive suite with a complementary breakfast for the following morning couldn't complain
Room was average size but was very clean, including the bathroom. Had to position shower curtain carefully to prevent water on floor. Beds very comfortable. Mini bar nice and well-equipped. Ice water in lobby. Front desk staff were very helpful, A+!
View was essentially of a brick wall. No ice in hotel; had to go to adjoining restaurant where we were given a bucket (probably used for a wine bottle) filled with ice.
A good location as it is only a 5 minute walk to Grand Central Station which gives you great connections for getting around NY. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful.
The hotel furnishings are looking tired and the rooms are dark.
The hotel is well maintained and was a pleasant surprise given the price and location. The personnel were professional and went out of their way to help. Needed a power strip, and they loaned me one from their supply - in the middle of the night.
close to the grand central terminal, walking distance to times square, empire state building.
bathroom is clean but washbasin is leaky.
Easy to get to by cab if coming from JFK. Close to Grand Central station. Short walk to Time Square and the Rockefeller Centre.
Main light switch in room appeared to do nothing.
the room was really big for our family. Also location was exelent.
There was a problem with the door and ot took the staff too long to fix it. Also the elevator was too slow to come.
We love the Murray Hill area very much.the staff was very responsive to any of our concerns. The concierge gave us some great recommendations for dinner. There was an overcharge on our room which the front desk corrected with no problem. Room size was big and the bed was comfortable.
Our room was close to the elevator and it was somewhat noisy. The bathroom was large-wish there was a cabinet/shelf for toiletries.
Everyone was friendly and very helpful.
WiFi kept going in and out and was a pain to put the code in constantly. I would rather have an empty frig to put my own snacks in. No one in their right mine would buy the things in that frig with those prices! Just leave it empty!
Location. The hotel was very centrally located and mor importantly subway station was on a five minutes walk.
Wifi was very poor.
Location was great and the room cosy. Staff at checkout were excellent but on arrival was a different matter!
The girl that checked us in was a right moody mare. (Service with a smile it was not!). Wifi kept dropping out. Carpet was frayed by bathroom and towels were ripped and frayed.
