Staff tried to make things right. Gave us bottle water for the competition and a breakfast bar.
Neighbors were loud and didn't quiet down till 2 in morning. Daughter was exhausted for Irish dance competition because roll away had spring popping through so she slept on the floor. She didn't fall sleep until 2:30 am and she had to compete less than 8 hours later. Big regional competition and she was not at her best. We didn't choose hotels close to the civic center hopping for a quiet evening. Other venues closer had comparable pricing. Very disappointed. Invested a lot for the weekend.
My room was prepaid on line but they charged me for two nights when i only stayed 1. I had to wait 5 days for the credit to reach my credit card. Staff should be extra careful when charging credit cards
The environment is very nice closed to the river.
We paid $159.00 plus tax etc. for our room friday night and now next weekend, the same room, king, non-smoking city view is $109.00??? I am a repeat customer so I would like to know how to get that rate!!
comfortable hotel with a good restaurant, nice view of bay/harbor
a little too far from downtown Providence, no nearby restaurants, etc.
Parking was free and very convenient to where I had to go.
Bed was uncomfortable Dirty hallways Leaky faucets
The hotel had good location, although not downtown.
The place needs some renovations and refreshing, and staff needs to be more welcoming. Too expensive for the city/hotel
The viewed ,that's was nice I loved that part thank you
I thing you shuod have free breakfast when comes to pay its to much or at list chipper
The front desk clerk who checked us on Thanksgiving evening. Sorry we forgot her name:(. She was very nice & helpful:-).
We didn't like having to wait 15 + minutes for coffee on 11/28/14. In Hotel Restaurant:(. Poor customer service:(. However the night before we had great service and good food!!!!
Bed is very comfortable. The size of the room is plentiful of space. Lovely view of the city.
Location. Too far to get to the shops and restaurants. Had to use car all the time. Nearest to the freeway is quite not nice.
Tried to go to dinner at 5:30 and no one was there to help us. The breakfast waitresses were awesome tho
Located at India Point Park. Great walking space and also the bridge to walk right into the city. 1.5 miles from the PPAC!
No in room fridge or continental breakfast included.
The staff was very friendly and helpful in finding a pizza place that delivered late. Booked the hotel online without a credit card, easy check in, easy check out. I was also impressed that the bathroom toiletries included q-tips. It seems so insignificant, but they're one of the things i always forget while traveling and are not usually provided by other hotels.
View, parking, room clean,
price, construction in the area. dining and bar hours. closed at 10pm. side table was very old and finish was coming off, no shuttle to the Convention center. Room was a bit tight.
Hotel staff were friendly when we checked in and in the bar area. Room had a great view over looking the bay and the hotel felt safe and secure
Hotel was showing signs of wear and tear, especially the carpets. Location isn't ideal for walking into the centre of providence
no lunch forgot my room service breakfast
Front desk staff Sherri was extremely helpful with excellent customer service skills
Location: directly on interstate, traffic noise audible in room, bay view is of industrial section
No reservation recorded. Dirty, dingy room. Bathroom sink drain did not drain water. Tub / shower was in the middle of a repair that had gone bad. Very noisy hotel. Never got to sleep. Restaurant food wasn't prepared very well. Chicken was chewy, salad greens were wilted, and dishes were dirty. The staff was very condensending toward us, their guests. Very disappointed. This was a trip to bring my son to his first year of university. Not memorable, when it should have been.
Very close to Brown University
Double charge for room
Comfortable room at a fair price. Restaurant and bar on site were nice since property is not located next to other options within walking distance. Is not far from the Wickenden area by car or long walk.
Road noise was deafening on the freeway side of the hotel. Not a good location for light sleepers.
The rooms with a harbor view are way better than the ones overlooking the freeway. Make sure you get one of those! Nice and friendly breakfast service.
The door to our room was warped, which did not feel very secure. Room overlooking the freeway was very noisy, so we asked for an upgrade to a room overlooking the harbor, which was way better!
Well located, confortable and cheap.
Bed was broken. Employee woke us up at 6AM by knokning on the door...
front desk and restaurant staff were friendly and knowledgeable.
bed was very uncomfortable. had to taxi or drive to venues and shops/restaurants.
Really enjoyed our stay, no complaints. Breakfast buffet was great.
Providence traffic was a nightmare. Even my GPS got lost. Construction everywhere. Not the fault or concern of hotel though.
Convenient to downtown and 95. Shuttle made getting to downtown bars and restaurants easy. Complaints in hotel reviews about noise from highway is ridiculous! My brother and I stayed on the 4th floor, overlooking the highway. Not my desired view or location for a honeymoon but for a night of rest after driving 400+ miles it was fine! The opposite side of the hotel faces the river and would be my preferred choice next time but I was lucky to get a room on the holiday weekend. Also, Facility was very accommodating to my inquiry (through Bookings.com) about a possibly need to cancel my reservation at the last minute due to weather and driving conditions over 4th of July weekend. The hotel gave me the option to cancel the day of arrival without penalty even though it was stated up front "no refunds for cancellations."
