Everything. Very dirty, had blood on the sheets, the staff couldnt get us new ones and they was very rude about it. Would never stay in this HOSTILE again
Location in Chelsea was great. Close to many attractions and services (pharmacy, subway, laundromat and more)
The bed sagged into the middle. Heating wasn't as good as could be and walls were paper thin (could hear footsteps and conversations)
The complete kitchen. The heat. The bed & size of the room. The staff. The location!!!!!
Paid wifi. A little noisy. No elevator.
Some of the staff were wonderful. The location is great. Worth staying for it's proximity to the Coppelia Diner alone! Value for money is great and it's quite atmospheric.
The night porter who checked us in had no idea what he was doing. It took over 15 minutes at 3am and I wanted to cry. On arrival the room was filthy there was very thick dust on almost everything. The blanket was stained and there was stuff on the floor hair on my pillow on arrival (in fact the room was unlocked and open when I arrived) I know it's a value hotel, but basic cleanliness is not an optional extra.
Very cosy! Helpful and smiling staff. I felt at home in a bohemian kind of way!
My room was aprox. 36 degrees Celsius the first two days. But they fixed it!
The location is great and for the price, it was really good!!
+ The price is really cheap + The location is good - close to the metro & in the Chelsea region + The staff is friendly
- It was really cold inside (and especially in the bathroom) - to an extent of being uncomfortable to stay in the room - we had to ask for two extra blankets, which somewhat helped - Breakfast is more of a name than an actual breakfast - Hotel staff tried to charge us for leaving the bags for half-a-day after check-out
The location and the personal o the hotel
in some cases the bath Was dirty
Location right next to subway station Pastries and coffee at breakfast Clean room and comfy bed and warm Staff very helpful
There is kitchen facilities but no equipment to make anything to use it. Personally I would have loved to have seen a kettle, but that is very English. Saying that I did not ask for any items.
Good location, nice room, cool staff during the day
COOOOLLLDDDD in the room. The staff when we arrived at the evening, not really friendly. Nothing at the breakfast the first day.
The hotel was in a fantastic location.
Walls were paper thin, first night we were up in the early hours waiting for the dude next door to stop crying over a girl.
Very well located.
The room was not very clean. We could find some hairs on the sheets and covers and the towels smelt funny. Besides that, it is OK for its price.
The location is fantastic!
I saw a cockroach along the hallway. The bed was itchy.
Kitchen is amazing in such a small room
breakfast is too simple, just croissant and coffee, if you got up later than 8:30, properly nothing left for you.
Subway station in front of the door Nice bakery products for breakfast
No free wifi
For the location this hotel is probably great value for money
This hotel is great value for money, but only if you don't mind stains in your bed sheets or cockroaches in your (shared) bathroom. Also mind that the free 'breakfast' - if it's there - consists of black coffee (no milk or creamer) and a plain bagel or the like.
Very comfortable and well equipped room, nice and helpful staff, good localisation, tasty breakfest
Bathroom could be cleaner.
The hotel is simple, the room has a great bed, little kitchen and a tiny room to put your things. The employees was all very kind, the cleaning was good! Is like a hostel with the bathroom in the hallway but this was not a problem, the bathroom was always clean! The location is awesome, next to the subway and some great neighborhood! The breakfast was simple and good! In NYC the hotels are very expensive, so I think it worth it! I recommend this hotel!
The tiny room to put clothes that aldo has the safe dont have light, so is really hard to use it!
Amazing location; there's a subway and a supermarket 30 seconds from the front door and everywhere in Manhattan felt like it was just 20 minutes from home. Kitchenette had everything we needed; especially appreciated the dishes being done by maids.
Being on the second floor we were getting a lot of noise from the reception downstairs, staff didn't seem too bothered about how loud they were being.
The staff was very nice and accommodating. We got to come and go as we liked We will definitely stay here again its worth the money
That they didn't have a elevator we were on the 4th floor and after walking all day it was kind of hard to walk up all those stairs, plus the room was small we had to get a roll away bed for my son and there was no room to walk in the room
I was there for three nights. I was given two hand towels, four bath towels. Once i used a hand towel for the day, i would indicate it for washing, not for the bath towels, as using these again makes sense. I never got replacement hand towels. Because if this, i started using the bath towels as hand towels. In the long run they had more to wash because of this...Kind of counter intuitive, and honestly, it just felt plain lazy cheap of them. Soap dispensers were empty in bathroom. No wi fi is really out of step with the rest of the planet. Time to get on board.
Easy access to subway just a few hundred feet away.
No elevator could be a challenge for some people
We stayed for 6 nights and had great time. The hotel had the best location you can wish for staying in NYC. This hotel is located in the Chelsea area and you will find just next door the subway station, CVS pharmacy and store open 24h and the Chelsea Market 5 min away which is a must to see and try in NYC. The Highline Park is in the area and is worth to see it. The hotel room wasn't big but beautifully decorated and with kitchen which was very handy. We had room with shared bathroom which was clean and we knew about it form the information about the hotel so it was good. The staff were very polite and helpful. We had been mainly attended by Mallelyn and I can only say that she has provided great customer service. Great value, great location and we will definitely stay again.
It is such a dirty uncomfortable place we have canceled after 1 day later
