the location wasn't too bad, if you enjoy getting woke from horses galloping by and emergency vehicles screaming past your window at all times of the nite, the dining area the wall was falling down, don't know where they got the pictures they put online, so deceiving.
not enough space heaters to keep it warm in there, the maintanence and cleaning people just showed up without any notice and wanted to fix outside cameras, said "it is for our own protection" key left on the front door in a lock box that anyone could have access to.
Super location in the middle of restaurant row and 1 block from Tiems Sq. Great for commuting with MTA.
Cold appartment, poor heating. Cleaning extremely poor. No curtains in the livingroom. Kitchen appliances few. In the beginning difficult to get hold of the landlord via phone.
no lift for a 4th floor aparntmet thats poor. Heating ..what heating apartment was freezing Overflowing toilet that we were to to leave until the morning despite the water flooding the bathroom floor .
Location was brilliant
freezing cold and no toaster and not enough towels
The location. That's it.
Run down condition of everything in the apartment. Cooker, toaster, TV, lights, power sockets NOT WORKING. Gap of 2 inches under main door, no curtains on French doors. Heating inadequate. Bathroom in poor state of repair, loose taps, no sealant around bath. No batteries in both TV remotes. Only one channel available. Key safe vandalised. All in all, the place is awful!
The bed was comfortable (so two of us slept well). The two pull out couches were not as comfortable, but I suppose better than sleeping on the floor. The location was good for our purposes, and there are a bunch of good bars and restaurants nearby.
There was absolutely no heat in the building, so it was freezing everywhere. There was one space heater that we used in the common space (so the bedroom stayed freezing all night). The bathroom was so cold I couldn't even stand being in there long enough to pee, so taking a shower was out of the question. The staff was not particularly kind or helpful, and checkin and checkout procedures were extremely vague.
That the room was to cold
nothing; location on W46th street is not ideal ... not very safe
no window coverings - fully exposed; cold and dirty; broken furniture; badly renovated; old linen and pillows; no instruction manuals or information; leads and wires everywhere; disgusting and expensive
The location was really convenient
The bathroom locks did not work. The water was very cold All rooms were cold due to no heating! After advising the staff of the above, nothing has been done.
Its very near to Times Square
Shower and toilet were broken but still working.
Excellent location. Staff were helpful.
Facilities were very basic for cooking so we ate out most of the time. The sofa beds were not very comfortable but adequate. Condition of property could have been better, thankfully it was not cold when we stayed.
The bath tub, washbowl, and kitchen sink has big drainage problem.
Good location near Times Square and broadway, large flat can accommodate up to 6 people. For students only who can share the cost (300 $ per night)
Place is dirty - mice visiting the kitchen every night- Could be good with more cleanliness and renovation
The location is nigh on perfect for New York and less than 5 minutes walk from Times Square and right in the centre of the restaurant / bar district Due to this we found getting around to other areas of the city very easy and used Yellow Cabs to further out areas which didn't cost the earth Also the wifi worked absolutely fine for the whole 8 days we were there and compared to some UK WiFi options the apartments wifi was at the speedier end of the market. We had emailed a week before about Wifi being essential for work so this may have had something to do with it The weather was warm throughout our stay so had no problems with heating - in fact I slept on the top of the bed and didn't need a duvet
The stairs are very steep to get to the top of the apartments - we're healthy mid 30s men and found it tiring to climb after a day sightseeing The locks for the doors worked, but were hard to open and close The bath did have a stain on the bottom of it which was acceptable enough for showering, but wouldn't have felt comfortable bathing in it. Shower was strong and warm enough There was a lot of dust around the bathroom despite a cleaner in the apartment when we arrived. Although this may be standard for apartments over hotels - we didn't have a cleaner changing bed sheets for the 8 days we were there
The apartment was well located and we had free wi-fi which really worked.
We had to switch apartments because we didn't have a key for the first one. On the second apartment we hardly had toilet paper and the shower was broken, it had to be fixed in advance but it wasn't working, water would splash everywhere.
location. It had a bath.
Sheets were dirty looking, overall student flat feel, stairs a nightmare with luggage, the 3rd "bed" was broken, not enough blankets.
No cooking range. Gas turned off. Bed wore. Out
Not very clean, rustic is a kind description, shabby, building in need of demolition
Good location Easy to find Comfortable sleeping Clean bathroom Clean towels
General appearance scruffy No meet and greet No lift - had to carry heavy bags 4 floors Lot of miscellaneous stuff in cupboards etc
No lifts....had to carry heavy luggages all the way to 4th floor. Cable tv not working...unable to see any channels. Only 1 towel was provided. No air conditioning.
i liked the location
its difficult to reach anyone to help with any issue. it was as if we were just tossed like bin, and we had to figure out things around the apartment. Tv was not working and heater/air condition was also not working in a whole, i didn't feel comfortable as i expected.
The location is the main plus point for this accommodation. It was safe with code lock on hallway entrance and option for safe lock at door. When I arrived I had to ring a staff member as part of checking in. He was helpful and allowed us to leave our bags in the main office on day of leaving.
The pull out beds were really uncomfortable. The interior of the apartment was a little shabby looking. Paint falling off the walls etc.
Location was amazing, right downtown near everything. Easy to go in the building
Not the cleanest apartment. Sofa bed uncomfortable, walls dirty. Shower pressure not great.
