Location is good immediately next door to Empire State Building. Staff friendly helpful and accommodating. Staff moved me to a bigger room with no fuss when I made it clear I was not happy with size of room.
Basic double room far too small with noisy heating unit dominating the room. None of the rooms, It appears, have a wardrobe or much storage space.
Hotel is in a great area with plenty of options for food and shopping near by. The hotel was small but very clean and the staff was friendly. The parking garage is half a block away. The hotel even held our bags after we had checked out until we left later that day.
My one negative comment is the noise level in the room. The room is heated/cooled by a wall unit, so it's similar to sleering with the window open, noise wise. This means that starting around 7 there will be a lot of traffic and car horns for rush hour.
Such a nice hotel in the perfect location for your trip on the go around NYC, just 1 block from the Empire State building. Rooms are not huge, but they are big enough. Staff are very friendly. Loved the hotel and would definitely return.
The hotel was perfectly placed in easy walking distance for most attractions but not noisey, staff were very helpful, room was a little small but we only slept there and it was comfortable and very clean
Friendly staff, clean hotel, comfortable room
Would have liked a wardrobe
The location of the hotel was first class. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Although the rooms at first seem very small it was more than adequate for our needs. The bathroom & shower were a good size and the bed was lovely and comfortable. Housekeeping was first class with everything kept lovely and clean. Would have no hesitation booking this hotel the next time we visit New York. For location, friendliness and value for money this hotel is hard to beat. 10/10
Only a very slight negative is the traffic noise at night - but then your are on 5th Ave and in New York so you have to expect it. knowing this before I left home I packed a pair of earplugs and had 7 perfect nights sleep.
Lack of hanging space for clothes
Myself and my partner stayed in Hotel 373 for 6 nights. The location is absolute perfect! Less than a 10 minute walk away from Times Square and a 5 minute walk from Macys. I had read reviews of the hotel before booking it and I had seen someone said it was quite noisy with all traffic so I requested a room on a high floor. We were put on level 6 where, yes you can hear the traffic but not nearly as much as you would on a lower level. The rooms are small, but the way we seen it, we weren't spending too much time in the room. The bed was one of the most comfiest bed ever! Cleaning staff are excellent and the hotel had an Eco friendly policy when changing sheets and towels. The wifi is good, the only problem is, when you leave the hotel and return you need to put your password in again each time. Checkout is at 12 but in our case, we weren't leaving the city till around 4 so the receptionists looked after our bags while we did the last of the adventuring! Great location and brilliant staff!
The only problem I had was the fact there was no breakfast included in my package. We booked through Booking.com but found out afterwards that if we would have went through Hotel 373 website itself, breakfast would have been included in the price. When booking on Booking.com there was no mention of breakfast or any option for it. But as I said, that was the only problem I had, the rest of the hotel was brilliant!
Modern room in good condition with a great location
street noise, comforter was stained, heater protruded into room and was noisy, room is small.
Location is really good, everything you need is nearby. Staff very helpful. Clean and comfortable room. Price is ok for the location.
Room very small, but ok if you don't have many luggages.
Location, great staff, good food right next door, happy with our stay.
Room size was small.
Surprised at the restfulness considering the location
A bit dated looking
It is in the center of it all and yet is rather affordable as compared to the many other hotels found within a one-block radius. It is wonderfully luxurious! My room had the most wonderful bed, loveliest, clean bathroom, and great complimentary Starbucks coffee in the morning (of course, not forgetting the Starbucks right next door for a breakfast to go along with it). Best of all? The view! It's delightful in the morning -- the sun peaks out from the Empire State Building in the morning. I highly recommend the hotel and would love to come back again.
Location wise is good
The room n toilet is so SMALL and the room rate is so expensive.
Rooms are so small and they dont look like that small on the pictures.
Location, location, location. 373 is mid manhattan as it should be for being where the action is. Close to everything including fab Bryant park.
Small, small, small room. Which translates to no room to move around. But this is mid manhattan. We came back to the hotel only to sleep. Next time I will try another hotel for comparison.
Location is excellent. Staff was very helpful. They arranged us a SUV to take us (4 adults and 4 big pieces of luggage) to the airport.
Room was tiny. There's not even enough room to open your luggage, neither enough space for your clothes.
staff where super helpful room was clean and tidy and comfy
The windows to my room where filthy dirty with hotel views of the empire state building i wish i could see them from my window
Staff friendly and helpful and bathroom very clean
Rooms a bit small.
tiny rooms loud air conditioner
Wifi didn´t work, supersmall room and supersmall bed although we had got confirmed bigger bed and room. Never this hotel again - terrible experience. We should have stayed for 5 nights but checked out after one!!!
great location a block from the Empire State building and friendly and helpful staff
Size of the rooms is very small
I realy liked this hotel! NEAT of every thing you need and you want to see! Very good staff and realy clean!
Lift was not working - Concierge staff at point of arriving were friendly and helpful in taking bags ups. This was surprising given hotel manager was no use at all.
A deluge of problems with the Hotel Manageress being totally useless and even reversing the blame on us for not accepting a lower room that would require less stairs! Summary; - lift was not working, walked up 9 flights of stairs. Given I had just come from a long bike ride, I didn't fancy this and asked to leave but was told they would charge me the first night, forcing me to stay. Because of this, we spent the next 3 hours walking around without even unpacking as I would have struggled with the 9 flights if I had to climb it more than once. - toilet flush was not working, so we had one usage of the toilet on the first night, embarassing. - Worst of all - neighbouring hotel I found to be in far superior conditions but was unable to leave as hotel staff said I would have to be charged the first night at least, despite all the terrible conditions. - So we reluctantly stayed but cancelled remainder of booking and moved to Hotel Metro the following morning. (Staff here once again WERE helpful in helping to bring luggage down, mgmt could learn from this). - Hotel Manager Soraya, on speaking to her about the ridiculous amount I was charged decided to reverse the blame on me because we were offered a room on the lower floors. So no concession was offered aside of the 15% that was applied on arrival (note this was still substantially higher than the better hotel we moved to $350pn vs $270pn), no apology and I found her tone and attitude awful - even the concierge staff I met on arrival were friendly which makes a big difference. I'm sure the hotel manager will revert with excuses, but your stance was totally unacceptable - you lost a customer for the remaining 4 nights of this trip, you also lost the potential future custom of anyone at my firm as you are no longer on our list of Hotels. Awful. Thank goodness for Metro being so close and willing to accomodate at short notice.
Friendly an helpful staff, fantastic location, comfortable bed, great price for Manhattan! Really nice experience.
Liked everything, but just remember this is Manhattan, so the rooms are tiny.
