I really liked the location and being able to watch the skiers.
Staff were very nice and helpful. Ski slope only 1 mile down road.
Nothing bad. Its just showing its age. Can't beat for the price.
Great place. Great locale in regards to slopes and eateries and local country store. All staff in Beech where great and hotel staff awesome.
The location to Beech Mountain was good. But the signage for the turn into the resort should be bigger. I did like being able to eat at the Mexican rest. without having to go back out into the cold. The sight of the fire in the lobby was a nice touch.
They didn't make the beds during our 2 night stay. But the worst was not having any coffee in the room or shampoo to use. The night before we stayed at a $38. room, nice, well stocked with soaps, shampoos, a view, conditioners, coffee and breakfast - at the Village Inn.
That I had a place to stay!!
Our first room smelled like an ashtray, and was very outdated. We were moved after we requested a move. No hair dryer, no iron or ironing board. Heat smelled terrible when on. It was 37 degrees during our stay and we had the window open to air out room after we tried to use the heat. I was very disappointed. My husband however enjoyed his stay. I suppose I was expecting "chain" treatment. The smoking inside this old building really had me concerned too!!!
location, staff very helpful, price
I am a child of the seventies and I took a travel in time when I stayed here. Please update because the place has great "bones" . Call Hotel Impossible because that is what I thought when I got to the room. Sorry I know you are trying.
The room had a kitchenette
The hotel was a bit shabby. It was overpriced for a two star hotel.
We liked the area & restaurants that were available.
the carpet was dirty in spots in the room & behind the bed. the driveway entrance needed to graded because it was rough to drive on. Coffee maker had to be replaced with a new one but no cone filter were provided with it.
Well appointed full kitchen. All rooms very clean. Good Mexican restaurant on the premises.
The bed and pillows much too firm.
Liked the room set up and the Mexican restaurant on premises.
The bed was hard and the pillows really flat made for not much sleep, the heater was a bit noisy but doable.
Room was excellant. Way bigger than expected.
I didn't book 2 nights.
Very friendly staff, lovely lobby. Great position in super town on mountain top. Room a bit tired but very clean. Large studio with plenty of space and all facilities. Bathroom small but adequate. Had a great one night stay and would have been happier to stay longer.
Room decor a bit tired.
The whole package. Awesome!
That we could not stay longer.
Exceptional staff! Very helpful, kept us from getting lost!!! Autumn leaves just beginning to turn. LOTS TO DO in the area!
Mexican restaurant inside hotel
The queen studio was very spacious. Had a fully equipped kitchen including a dishwasher, all utensils, and even detergent.
The first night was very cold and the heater didn't work, forcing me to sleep under a quadruple folded blanket. After two complaints maintenance workers came to fix the heater. What a relief to be warm again!
The staff were friendly...
Old & musky....the air didn't work and the bed was terrible!
This was my first time to the mountains. I really did enjoy my stay at Beech Mountain Resort. The resort was very clean, everything we needed was right there. I would always stay there if ever in the area again.
My family loved this hotel It was older but very clean. The night we arrived was a but rainy and we didn't need the AC on. Room was cool and we slept great. I was surprised it had a full kitchen which would be great for a several day stay. We weren't aware the day we drove into town that there was a football game at the college making it hard to find a room on our budget. This Hotel was and I was very happy we found it. I will stay there again on our next visit!
The drive was a bit scary because of the hairpin turns and rain. The next day was much better and beautiful.
Staff was friendly, location is awesome! It was the perfect get away for us. Will definitively be going back!
Price. Bed was comfortable.
Bathroom was small
Loved waking up to the foggy mountain. It was beautiful. .loved our stay. It was amazing
The place was clean, the bed great, staff great as well. Room was huge with all you could need. We will be back.
Can't think of a thing.
The bed slept good.
Air conditioner did not work. Room had an muskey odor to it. Needs a update to the rooms. We stayed on the third floor and there was no elevator. Bathroom was small.
Our Rooms were really clean
Décor was very old and worn
