Located in midtown Manhattan, this boutique hotel is just a 10-minute walk from famous Times Square. It features a private courtyard and guest rooms with a 37-flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. An iPod docking station and a refrigerator are included in the modern rooms at 414 Hotel. Luxury bath amenities and a hairdryer are provided in the private bathroom. A continental breakfast is served every morning in the hotel lobby, which also boasts a fireplace. Concierge and reservation services are available 24 hours a day. Great location. Great staff. Very quiet considering where it is. Loved the free breakfast and late check out. Gave me enough time to wander to central park before the tourists!

The location was excellent, a stones throw from times square and theatre district and walking distance to a lot of attractions. The room was large and had a spacious bathroom it was all clean, tidy and modern. The bed was very comfy and there wa a handy fridge in the room. The kitchen was open from 7am to 8pm which was excellent as it meant free tea and coffee all day, the complimentary continental breakfast was basic but great value especially as most hotels don't offer any form of breakfast. I hate to mention any negatives because all other aspects of the hotel were excellent, but the room we were was overlooking the street and was very noisy. We expected a certain level of noise as we knew it was a busy area of manhattan to stay in but the noise level was horrendous. The first night we were there the bar next door was playing music til 4am, in fairness this was a saturday night and this did not happen again during our stay but it ruined our first night. After this we went and bought ear plugs which solved the issue, the windows were pretty ineffective at shutting out any noise, most of the time you couldn't tell if they were shut the noise level was that high. Having said all that I would stay here again as you can not argue with the price and location, I would however be asking for a room overlooking the courtyard and take my earplugs!

I loved the location....I Was visiting two of my children who actually live on West 46th! The holel is very quaint, very clean, and more than met my expectations. I would definately stay there again.

The staff were all courteous, efficient and friendly, the location is excellent for Times Square, Theatre land, Port Authority, etc, the use of the kitchen for free tea/coffee and the continental breakfast.

The staff we really friendly. The location was fantastic. Our room was great. We were upgraded as well to a king room, without asking!

Perfect New York budget hotewl. Staff were really friendly and helpful offering great advice. Rooms were comfortable and cleaned well and little extras such a free coffee all day were great. The breakfast was delicious and breakfast staff great. Would definately go back.

Location to everything Broadway/Times Square and including the subway was perfect, although seemingly near the hustle and bustle- it was very quiet, staff was friendly. The paint could have been refreshed and the bathroom could have been a little more practical I.E. shelf or cupboard to place your things

Excellent stay and great value for money. We were upgraded for free too which was a lovely surprise after our long flight. Location was fantastic and free internet and breakfast was a sure bonus. Staff were super friendly and our room was big, neat and well kept. The bed was incredibly comfortable. A hotel highly worth recommending.

Ideal location. Very close to Times Square. Good restaurants close by. Stairs to the top floor. Not enough room for guests for breakfast in the mornings.

Cute, convenient, comfortable, very quiet, especially for New York. Reasonably priced for NY; just the ticket to stay overnight after a show rather than getting back on the train. Good restaurants near by. Will recommend and return. Very happy with it.

The lobby with the table and fireplace is very nice. The staff was very welcoming when we arrived. Beds/pillows are comfortable. Great central location. When the weather is nice the courtyard is a nice place to relax.

Located near numerous theaters and decent restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable. The hall could use a carpet or runway to muffle the sound of luggage rollers. Make your own arrangements for cabs, rather than having the hotel arrange a limo for you.

Location was superb and the staff could not have been friendlier. We got there early so left our luggage, when we returned late in the day the suitcases were in our room. Breakfast an additional bonus, which on nice days could be enjoyed from the terrace or courtyard. The room had not been vacuumed and the window unit air conditioner needs a good cleaning to get rid of the traces of mold. Fortunately we could open the window and did not have to run the a/C. All other areas of the room were clean and inviting.

The staff were very friendly and were helpful. The room itself was lovely with a very comfortable bed! We stayed in a room towards the back of the hotel which was nice and quiet. We were a short distance from plenty of bars and eating places and we felt safe walking back to the hotel. Would definately stay at 414 Hotel again!

The best thing about 414 Hotel is that it's close to the theater district. I did not like: no lift, no tea/coffee in the bedroom, tiny lobby, communal breakfast in the lobby. If all this cost $150 per night, it might be bearable but at $275 it was not.
