The staff were really friendly and helpful and the hotel is in a fairly good posistion for central Manhatton, it was clean and the continental breakfast was fresh and adequate.One night during our stay the hotel provided buffet evening with a jazz/samba combo playing and we thoruughly enjoyed chatting with the other guests whilst enjoying the food/wine provided. I would certainly go back there. |

Absolutely loved our stay in the hotel, decent size rooms, clean, warm and with everything we needed. Friendly and helpful staff! Would definately recommend the hotel, and would definately stay there again! Great location! |

the 4 of us staying at the hotel spent the few days exploring New York, seeing the sights and experiencing the variety of restaurants. the decor on the stairs was very dark and the stair carpet was extremely dirty. There was insufficient seating for all guests at breakfast. |

Friendly, comfortable hotel with extremely helpful staff. Ideally situated only about 5 mins from Times Square, threatres and many other attractions. Indoor breakfast area was not large enough and the weather was rather inclement to sit out on the terrace. |

Easy walking distance to Times Square, the theatre district, restaurant row, and downtown shopping, plus large bathroom and TV screen. Old heating system in room, jaded looking walls and carpeting, small room for continental breakfast and computer usage. |

The rooms were spacious enough, all the facilities were suitable eg. showers, internet access, tv, comfort etc. The stay was very quiet in fact we slept in due to the quitness after a strenuous day before tramping through the city. Not really, as usual the room shown on the web site was not the one we received but that is to be expected and as noted above for the money it was very comfortable and good value. |

Great location, spacious room. No space for eating breakfast. Very thin walls meaning you can hear everything happening in the room next door. One of the light bulb in the bathroom was not working when we arrived and was not changed during the 4 nights we stayed. |

This was our best nyc hotel stay ever!!! The location is wonderful, walk to Times Square and theater district, subways very close walk.The room was vey nice, well appointed and clean...no noise and the breakfast every morning was a nice start to the day |

This hotel has a great deal of character. The courtyard and rooms design are quite nice. Breakfast was very good and the location great at this Hell's Kitchen neighborhood. The rooms walls and headboard could have been cleaned much better. |

The desk person carried my luggage to my room because there was no elevator and I was unaware of that and unable to carry it up. They also moved my room from the third floor to the second. My air conditioning was not cooling my room the first night and the weather was hot. The next day when I asked, the unit was replaced and then worked nicely. No warning that there was no elevator. The walls were dirty--smeared and scuffed. Someone's milk was left in my refrigerator. |
