414 Hotel  

ﾀｲﾑｽﾞｽｸｴｱまで徒歩で8分ぐらい、今回はニューアーク空港からバスで市内に入ったのですが、W42- Stにバスが停まるのでそこから徒歩で8分くらいのロケーション。部屋は道路側とパティオを通って奥の建物- とに分かれていて、パティオから見える景色はまさにNew Yorkといった感じです。 部屋は大きくないが非常に機能的。大型薄型TVも備え付けられている。 地球の歩き方に載っていない日本食レストランもW46St,９Avにあり、便利。ホテルスタッフも非常に親切。

The location was excellent, a stones throw from times square and theatre district and walking distance to a lot of attractions. The room was large and had a spacious bathroom it was all clean, tidy and modern. The bed was very comfy and there wa a handy fridge in the room. The kitchen was open from 7am to 8pm which was excellent as it meant free tea and coffee all day, the complimentary continental breakfast was basic but great value especially as most hotels don't offer any form of breakfast.

I hate to mention any negatives because all other aspects of the hotel were excellent, but the room we were was overlooking the street and was very noisy. We expected a certain level of noise as we knew it was a busy area of manhattan to stay in but the noise level was horrendous. The first night we were there the bar next door was playing music til 4am, in fairness this was a saturday night and this did not happen again during our stay but it ruined our first night. After this we went and bought ear plugs which solved the issue, the windows were pretty ineffective at shutting out any noise, most of the time you couldn't tell if they were shut the noise level was that high. Having said all that I would stay here again as you can not argue with the price and location, I would however be asking for a room overlooking the courtyard and take my earplugs!

The staff we really friendly. The location was fantastic. Our room was great. We were upgraded as well to a king room, without asking!

Location to everything Broadway/Times Square and including the subway was perfect, although seemingly near the hustle and bustle- it was very quiet, staff was friendly.

The paint could have been refreshed and the bathroom could have been a little more practical I.E. shelf or cupboard to place your things

Excellent stay and great value for money. We were upgraded for free too which was a lovely surprise after our long flight. Location was fantastic and free internet and breakfast was a sure bonus. Staff were super friendly and our room was big, neat and well kept. The bed was incredibly comfortable. A hotel highly worth recommending.

Cute, convenient, comfortable, very quiet, especially for New York. Reasonably priced for NY; just the ticket to stay overnight after a show rather than getting back on the train. Good restaurants near by. Will recommend and return.

The location was very good for a city trip.

The staff were very friendly and were helpful. The room itself was lovely with a very comfortable bed! We stayed in a room towards the back of the hotel which was nice and quiet. We were a short distance from plenty of bars and eating places and we felt safe walking back to the hotel. Would definately stay at 414 Hotel again!
