Small hotel, b&b feel, very quiet, clean, intimate

Not much. The lady that checked me into the hotel was pleasant.

Terrible hotel. This hotel should not be rated more than a 1-2 star. No elevator, stairs and hallways were run down and drab. The carpet was old, walls were nicked up. The room was old, carpet dirty, tile in bath full of mold and caulk. Bath countertop looked old and stained. Bed was hard. I could never recommend this hotel in good conscience. Hotel was not worth the nightly rate.

We loved. This hotel!!! Only problem was that we booked 4 months in advance to get great room; but our friend ended up traveling with us and she called hotel to ask for a room near ours. We ended up in the smallest room in the hotel. I think the hotel should have advised us of this change. Dont get rooms 205 or 206. They are considerably smaller. No other problems.

The location was perfect and the smaller size was just for right us. It was a first time visit to New York with my granddaughter and we really liked the closeness to all of the attractions.

The air conditioner unit was a little loud.

Very nice hotel right nearby NY theater district. Feels more like a B&B than a hotel. And the price is excellent.

Location was excellent and the continental breakfast was just fine for us. Only thing I was not too happy about was the checkout which was 12 mid day and when I asked if we could have a later checkout we were told that it was $75 for 1 extra hour which I thought was a bit steep.

Great hotel close to the heart of mid-town, at a very reasonable price. A totally unexpected delight, would go back anytime. Will be my go-to hotel for staying in NY after a show or dinner.

Location is within walking distance to Times Square. The room was spacious and very clean.

I loved the location....I Was visiting two of my children who actually live on West 46th! The holel is very quaint, very clean, and more than met my expectations. I would definately stay there again.

Perfect New York budget hotewl. Staff were really friendly and helpful offering great advice. Rooms were comfortable and cleaned well and little extras such a free coffee all day were great. The breakfast was delicious and breakfast staff great. Would definately go back.

Excellent stay and great value for money. We were upgraded for free too which was a lovely surprise after our long flight. Location was fantastic and free internet and breakfast was a sure bonus. Staff were super friendly and our room was big, neat and well kept. The bed was incredibly comfortable. A hotel highly worth recommending.

The lobby with the table and fireplace is very nice. The staff was very welcoming when we arrived. Beds/pillows are comfortable. Great central location. When the weather is nice the courtyard is a nice place to relax.

The location was excellent, a stones throw from times square and theatre district and walking distance to a lot of attractions. The room was large and had a spacious bathroom it was all clean, tidy and modern. The bed was very comfy and there wa a handy fridge in the room. The kitchen was open from 7am to 8pm which was excellent as it meant free tea and coffee all day, the complimentary continental breakfast was basic but great value especially as most hotels don't offer any form of breakfast.

I hate to mention any negatives because all other aspects of the hotel were excellent, but the room we were was overlooking the street and was very noisy. We expected a certain level of noise as we knew it was a busy area of manhattan to stay in but the noise level was horrendous. The first night we were there the bar next door was playing music til 4am, in fairness this was a saturday night and this did not happen again during our stay but it ruined our first night. After this we went and bought ear plugs which solved the issue, the windows were pretty ineffective at shutting out any noise, most of the time you couldn't tell if they were shut the noise level was that high. Having said all that I would stay here again as you can not argue with the price and location, I would however be asking for a room overlooking the courtyard and take my earplugs!
