It is a hotel / hostel, so no frills, hence it's cheap and good value for money. The location is excellent. Shared bathrooms but they were always clean. |

Price, the welcome phone call, the very comfortable bed & pillow, the cleanliness, the look from the outside It smelled like pine sol - though that's better than a lot of other smells and it was inconvenient to read in bed because I had to get out of bed to turn off the light. |

convenient to downtown, which made it easy to stay for the convention. downtown is loud, as are the doors, which people had a tendency to slam (i figured out htat if the window was open the air flow tended to slam it for them) so sleeping with teh fan on and window closed was a much better experience than the first night |

The hotel was very inexpensive... and it's obvious why. The clientele wasn't the classiest but then again most of the people were absolutely fine. It is close enough to the gaslamp district without being in the middle of it, so it was quiet. Our room was cleaned everyday and 2 clean bath towels were left on the bed for us to use. Each bathroom locked completely and had a sink, toilet & shower. It was what we expected. The elevators were a trip... and one of them eventually stopped working correctly. There were never enough washcloths in the shared bathrooms. Bring sandals to shower in... and never, no matter what hotel it is, walk around in barefeet! It's gross to do it in a Ritz Carlton let alone a hostel/hotel. |

Hotel was very close to downtown and to the seaside. I was in San-Diego for a conferance and I walked to the convention center everyday. It takes 20-25 minutes on an average. |

i can't say that i liked much other than the location. next time i'll just stay in another hotel in the same location. the service was horrible, i was also not told about the additional security deposit required to stay there as it was not noted here on this website, nor did anyone tell me when i called to verify my reservation and asked about such charges. when we got there the receptionist was on the phone for a good 20 minutes before even helping us at the front desk. |

Close enough to walk to the convention center and Gaslamp district. Easy to take a bus. No bathroom in the room. But we knew about this beforehand. The cheap price won over no bathroom in the room. |

Los cuartos son de residencia de estudiantes hay ruido y movimiento en las noches y no cuentan con baño, por lo que no lo consideraria como un hotel propiamente, mas bien un dormitorio universitario. |
