Bellman, I think his name is Dan was excellent welcoming us, thoughtfully lending us an umbrella, giving us great advise and just making us feel at home. He is your best ambassador!!!
I chose what I thought was a larger room but it was still pretty "cozy", but the bed was comfy and it was clean as could be.
Unfriendly and non-comitted staff. No minibar in svuite, no Rom-service, not allowed to take drinks from the bar back to the suite. Food way belowe expectation, not much fresh made. The lounge not avalibel for hotel guests, only for club memember. Stayed a full week in december-14.
I arrived after 10 p.m. and went to the lounge to have a glass of wine and a snack - and they don't serve food in the lounge! I could have gone to the restaurant but I didn't want to sit at a table and have a meal. Why don't they at least serve the appetizers in the lounge?
A little far from Time Square, that's were most of the action happens
The location was okay.
The first room we got hade a good layout, but the good parts ends there. The beed we got was a full Size beed and that size is good for one person! The man in the reception try to play smart about the size when I called and insist it is a fullsize beed. For those who doesn't know that is the smallest beed... Fit for one person. I did told the man that we will try one night, but I would get back if it was to small for our need. Next morning I went down to ask for a room with a larger beed. The same man that did check us in and that I talked to the day before when calling was in receiption. When asking for a larger room he was very unpolity and I left angry, so I wouldn't say bad words! 15 minutes later he do call back and are suddenly very polity and has arranged a new rom and we wouldn't need to pay any extra as to his managers approval. This very change of personality I would guess come from a checkup in the system where he can see that I got closer to 700 nights at marriot and I therefore are a life time Gold member. Next room is much better equipted and better renowaited/maintaned. Still I like to say that the class on the room is not Renaissance class! I have spent a loot of time on Marriott hotels in the world and this hotel is a lower part of the Marriott Court Yard class. As a Marriott Gold member I get access to the lounge where some beverage and also breakfast is served. I didn't go there in the evening so can't tell about the beverage, but did visiting the breakfast. So poor that the person that deciding what should be served should be ashamed! We also visit the resturang at the hotel. I like to say that the food was good and also the wine. What I don't like to get comment is that we are strange to drink red wine to our seafood dishes. We also find out at this point that the resturant has no connection to the hotel even than it only can be accessed via hotel lobby... ??? But at least the food was good, but expensive...
Subway access to Airtrain Breakfast great + service Friendly staff Room ok for one person Bed really comfortable Close to Central Park
Air conditioning loud so turned it off
Loved this tiny place! Staff is friendly, hotel is clean and the location is just perfect.
We enjoyed the upscale restaurant/lounge and the professionalism of the staff. The night ambience in the restaurant is perfect. We had a relaxing late night dessert and coffee after seeing a Broadway show and it was a perfect way to end the magical evening.
The room and bath was smaller than anticipated and difficult for four ladies getting ready.
The hotel is very conveniently located, both the room and the bathroom are spacious and the bed is comfortable.
The room I was given was next to the lifts and the noise from them was a nuisance. I was also surprised to note that there was no free internet in the rooms, only in the lobby, and the price per day was USD 16.
Brunch at the restaurant, staff
Roof top terrace was closed
Location and staff.
Small beds, impossible to sleep two people in one of the beds even though room was classified as a double room. Terrible experience. View of the room, absolutely awful against the court yard with trash and noisy fans.
I loved th location, the bar, the facilities in general. However, my room was very small which I didn't mind so much since I was travelling alone but at $400 a night I thought was overpriced.
Size of room vis a vis price.
The door attendees were especially friendly and helpfull with direction and advice for getting around. The rooms were extremly clean.
Like most New York hotels the rooms are small amd I didn't like having totravel from an upper lobby to a lower lobby every time it wanted to go out.
No refrigerator or microwave in the room. Also had bottles of water for purchase in the room. Really, you can't include that in the cost of the room.
The staff was great!
location is unbeatable! the hotel is very spacious, rooms are average size for the price.
the hotel is dark, it needs a face lift desperately! the double executive room with two beds, has a really tiny window which makes you feel a bit claustrophobic!
business center without printing paper
boutique hotel; staff very responsive friendly; comfortable bed. asked for friends to be placed nearby~ they responded to our request by placing 2 doors down the hall! offered to give us a new room when TV failed to work.
thought at booking, I was getting (2) double beds instead, only 1!! They offered a roll away bed but the room was limited in space. Bathtub didn't drain well.
location, daniel the bellman eveyone was so nice
we didn't get our room cleaned the next day and the ac kept going up to 75 even after setting it at 71, so we would wake up and turn it down several times during the night.
Staff were very friendly and helpful, hotel comfortable and location fabulous.
Everything...specially your staff..very unpolite
The staff were exceptionally friendly. They were more than helpful to accommodate any queries. The bedroom was very comfortable, all rooms in NYC are small but the bed was extremely comfy.
The staff was exceptional. The room was clean and nice. The price was phenomenal.
