Very accommodating

the location, the facilities, the staff

1. We did not get the room we had booked. Only after telling the staff, we got another room in accordance to our booking. 2. Noise outside our room two nights until 2 AM. I only complained the second night, but too slow reaction from the staf.

Very nice hotel, Soho is exellent area to do shopping and have good food.

A very nice hotel, extremly nice staff (among the best I met). A calm and attractive place to stay and rest after a hot New York/ Manhattan day. Nice bar and a very good restaurant in house. Always fresh water and some nice snacks every night in the room. Stayed 8 nights and will gladly come back. A summer stay when the out door terrrace is open.

Staff were professional and helpful. The complementary brownies and blondies that was provided everyday was a nice touch.

The thermostat did not seem to work and the room became really hot. We had to open the window on the last morning to regulate the room temperature.

We were visiting daughter who lives nearby - so location, style and comfort level, Appreciated the upgrade to Thompson Suite as we had daughter and friends in for drinks after dinner out because we had room and glasses, staff was great. Robes, bath provisions.Complimentary water with turndown service.

The vacant buildings and grime of neighborhood surroundings

Large room, comfortable beds, nice service touches like brownies with turn-down service and REN toiletries

Some aspects of the room were a little dirty, like the bed back-wall, and the lower bed surround. Difficulties with room overheating due to morning sun, so perhaps thicker curtain or blind would be helpful? (room 107)

Great location in Soho, cool hotel, rooms and amenities good. Recommended. Note: roof terrace only open from May to September which is a shame.

Great location and small but comortable rooms. Staff were efficient and helpful.

Could not get the air conditioning right in our room.

The front desk was very accommodating . The doorman very helpful. The maid very nice.

Extremely professional staff who did everything they could to make us feel at home; they constantly suprised us with little extras. We got married in nyc that week and the hotel General Manager and staff pushed the boat out to make us feel we were among friends. Fab bar for pre-post evening out. Great lounge area to catch up on the morning papers. Well decorated with floral arrangements and smart furnishings. I could use their computer to check in on line and print my boarding pass, get a map of the area, get their recommendation of where to eat, taxi and valet support, a morning New York Times arrived every morning and no hidden extras.

The rooms were very comfortable and smart but fairly generic

Very good location, the staff is friendly and ready to help, the hotel is clean. Beds are comfortable, good bathroom.

The rooms are very dark (poorly lit) and the restaurant and room service menu could be better.

No Iron & Board for Ironing clothes! No Coffee maker!! Room seems much small than discribed!

Location is great.Restaurant was fine. Room service was prompt.

So so in Soho. Room was dirty and dusty. Walls were dirty. Bathroom sink had residue. Bedside table collected thick dust over the nights we stayed. Staff rarely answered their phones. There is NO business center. They don't claim to have one, but for a four star, I guess I expect a place to print out tickets/fax/etc.

I like the location of the hotel as SoHo is such a great area. I liked the fact that the hotel is not a big hotel and therefore a bit boutique like.

There wasn't much not to like, I think if Iwas being Uber critical, I would say that although the rooms are not massive....there was too much furniture in it and a slightly more minimal approach to this would be better.

Location is ideal if you like SoHo, Comfortable rooms and great bathroom.

Can be quite pricey. Charges extra for WiFi access. In winter, room can get too warm and cannot be cooled with A/C

Wifi not for free... That should be a must in bettern places.

Fabulous location - could easily walk anywhere in Soho or down to Ground Zero, Chinatown and Little Italy. Great restaurants and bars are all very close to the Hotel and also superb shopping in the many trendy boutiques. Our accommodation was great and we were even given a smoking room which was a huge big deal in New York I'm sure and certainly made a very big difference to us smokers! A large room with comfy bed and nice sized bathroom too.

We liked everything about the Hotel and will certainly return next time we're in NY city.

the nightclub music will not let you sleep till 3am the rooms hallways lobby and elevator all stink from cigarette smoke rooms have no heat this time of the year

Nice and clean. Cozy beds, big bathroom. Fun place to hang out at the beautiful bar. Nice Staff and great location.

I did not like the strong perfume smell that gets pumped through the vents in the lobby. It's as strong as trying to shop at an Abercrombie and Fitch... It gives me a headache.
