We like the hotel because it is close to the Festival of Lights parade and fireworks down the Magnificent mile. It is also very close to great restaurants and awesome holiday shopping. The staff have always been great and they listen to your needs.

We really liked the location to shopping downtown. The staff was fabulous. We ate at Hoyt's ~ which was very nice & food great. Also received a coupon for next trip to visit them. Only negative was when I called to see about an early check in because of weather ~ was told they couldn't because we had booked with a third party....but to check upon our arrival. Which we did and fortunately our room was available.

Unbelievable location, renovated room #814,outstanding, I would definitely recommend and ask for that room again. Staff was over the top friendly, efficient and service oriented Provided us with downtown info... No wait for the bellman, no wait for the valet, and best of all no wait for our room, with over one million people downtown that particular night, we were treated 1st class all the way. Best boutique hotel ever!! Save my room #814. I will book by room # on my next visit. No complaints....like winning a lottery of great place and great service, considering we had never heard of this hotel and had never heard of anyone staying here...best kept Boutique Hotel ever!!

The location was great and the view was amazing (we were on the 30th floor). I was awake all night because of a lot of noise out in the hall and my daughter got covered by spider bites :(

Location. Shower handle was broken in room 1511, and the bar soap was really skinny! Thank goodness your good staff was ready to give me more when needed.

Booking.com dropped the ball on my reservations yet Hotel 71 made up for any inconvenience with round of drinks for the four of us at Hoyts. They also updated our rooms at no additional cost
