Score from 85 reviews Very good
very good value for money. clean room, nice and helpful staff, just outside from the city but at 5 min by car and with a huge free parking.
highlights were the staff and the pool. there was also a nice sauna and hot tub in the fitness club
wifi wasnot useful
The front desk team was attentive and accommodating. The room was mostly clean and comfortable. Water pressure was great. Hot water lasted.
The bathroom did have hair on the floor. The room in general was clean. It could use some updating and more professional repairs. Caulking in the shower was gooped on around the fixtures and at tub seam. The continental breakfast was less than average but that is not the problem... guests who take advantage of the inclusive breakfast sit in the restaurant with other guests but are required to use plastic utensils and treated as second rate customers. NOT COOL!
Free continental breakfeast
Right off highway, rooms were very outdated. Not very clean or comfortable
K-cups in rooms, clean, nice for large gatherings
No fan in bathroom, fogged up mirror. Bed (King) too soft, pillows, too small for size bed, even though there were plenty.
Breakfast was good and there was ample parking space.
The room was damp and smelled as if someone had been smoking in there. The damp was so bad that the wallpaper was peeling away. When I complained the duty staff said it was because it had been raining. No, IT WAS DAMP and SMELLY!
Pool was great, clean room
It was quite
Bed was not the most comfortable. We both woke up with backaches.
The best part of this hotel is the outdoor space, with a lovely, small pool, and nice seating areas. The inside lobby is comfortable, with several areas for seating, making private conversation possible.
The location was not picturesque, being near shopping malls, rather than in the pretty town of Portland.
Restaurant meals were good.
Location, made for easy access to Portland & attractions. Room was clean, staff pleasant.
Continental bkf, could have included more choices. ex whole fresh fruit. The 2nd day we stayed was a Sunday. No eggs, little choice for breads, only muffins and small bagels. They closed 1 hour earlier.
The bed was comfortable.
The toilet was broken and leaked, the a/c didn't work.
I loved the person in rest!!!! He was incredible... Friendly, informative..wonderful!!!!
We were put next door to laundry
The staff was very friendly. The restaurants was nice and efficient and the staff was excellent. The rooms were clean
Wifi cut in and out making it impossible to use except for short periods
The personnel at the front desk were very accommodating and professional. The beds were comfortable.
The place needs a refurbish and update. It looks weary. Smoke free rooms still smell smoky from the past as once smoking rooms.
Breakfast was not used.
The person staying with me was mobility impaired and the one elevator was >= one tenth of a mile round trip from our second floor room. It should be noted on their listing to make it clear to people who can not negotiate a long flight of stairs to request a first floor room or one near the elevator. This was the only inconvenience, but was significant.
I loved the exit doors at the bottom of every stairway, and the room was very comfortable!
the tv was extremeley old and barely working. the location wasnt ideal either, we accidentally passed it the first time, which immediately forced us through a toll booth and back onto the highway!!!
My son goes to St. Joseph's college of Maine and we were there for a lacrosse game. The location was excellent given where he plays, surrounded by restaurants, shopping etc... and very close to Portland. The facility was very welcoming, with a great pool side area, and a super restaurant where we were able to have breakfast at a very reasonable price. Room was quiet and comfortable.
Did not recieve the king size bed room like I booked. ended up with 2 full.......
Very friendly staff. Served my purpose for the weekend.
Poor internet connection. Smelled smoked through the room.
The price is affordable and the continental breakfast was well presented and tidy. We requested an early check in and that was granted, but there were no towels in the room.
We used to stay at this establishment when it was a Holiday Inn and found that it was much cleaner and offered more amenities then. Our shower curtain was moldy and the toilet was not clean. Additionally, the pool area was dirty and in need of updates. It was hard to believe that the restraint and lounge closed at 9PM on a Saturday night, leaving us to go out looking for a snack around 9:15PM.
Ease of location off the highway.
I really liked everything including the staff, food and the pool.
The staff was nice...would stay there again
non descript building, room, and location. Bus trips overwhelm continental breakfast
