Simple and clean hotel, wi-fi was fast and good.
The Chinatown was a terrible location to stay, You would not find any restaurant or a store that serves or sells anything other than Chinese food or Chinese products. The area is pretty dirty, in general. We could not find a general pharmacy either, only Chinese stuff. If you're not into everything Chinese, that's not a place to stay.
staffs are very kind and helpful. location is close to subway station.
wifi connection is unstable
noise from train
reasonably priced vending machines free coffee friendly staff
bathroom had no heating
Value for money & Staff.
Location, dirtiest area in Manhattan.
the location, the efficency of staff
the subway railways were so near that you could not stand the noise every time a train was passing by.
We stayed in a room that was quite large. The beds were very comfy and everything seemed clean and tidy.
The WiFi didn't seem to work on our floor (level 3) which was a bit of a nuisance. Had to connect to lobby which was unsunsecure. The room was literally right next to the Manhattan bridge, so you could hear the subway which went by very regularly. This didn't bother us very much, but I can imagine that people who don't like lots of noise would not be comfortable there.
The rooms were clean and had good cable tv
No microwave and poor internet connection
It was a very nice and clean hotel.
A little far away from our activities
Staff were very rude, and when the lift broke down we were made to feel bad for "making" the night porter come down to the lobby in the staff lift to bring us up. WiFi is sketchy too
The hotel was very clean and an easy walk to the subway. The room was comfortable. The staff was very helpful, especially in terms of directions and also suggesting and arranging transportation. There are a lot of good Oriental restaurants to choose from and we were able to get an excellent meal on New Year's Eve without reservations. We even walked from the subway to the hotel at 2:30 am without any problems.
Reception is on the second floor. The hotel is in Chinatown. There aren't a lot of places for breakfast.
Very Noisy room with the trains
This place might as well be a hostel in China town. My bed was literally next to the Manhattan Bridge and I had to keep the blinds closed or I would be waiving to people on the subway. Everything in the room was broken and dingy. Water pressure and knob for shower SUCKED. The entire room smelled like mold. Worst stay ever in life.
The room was large for a NYC Hotel
They said there was coffee in the Lobby available all day but it was instant coffee,,yuck
the condition doesn't worth the price
Wifi is not as good as expected.
our room was on the side of the bridge. therefore, we had a lot of noise from the bridge traffic. we were not notified about our room location.
The price for the size of the room in NYC was great. Off the beaten track but easy walk from subway to F trains uptown.
The lack of coffee in the hotel or nearby was a challenge.
No tea/coffee making facilities in the room-wifi signal weak-noise from train
Stayed at the hotel with my 13-year-old son ,we were pleasantly surprised with how clean and comfortable the room was. The staff could have been a little more upbeat and smiled more but overall it was a good experience. The neighborhood is loud and crazy but also really shows a side of New York that is fun for tourists.
Receptionist ordered taxi to airport and recommended local restaurant.
The subway in front of windows, the bed are dirty and the wireless work only at 4am (when the other are sleeping )
Room was clean and comfortable. Great value for money and staff very helpful and friendly.
We were in the 5th floor at the same level as the subway trains travelling over the bridge which was 20 feet from our window! It was noisy, but the quadruple glazing cut most of the noise out, so strongly suggest keeping the windows closed! Saying that, after the first night we'd got used to the noise which sounded more like a strong gust of wind and had a fantastic holiday.
