The hotel was accessible to most subway lines. The staff were friendly and helpful. The fact that my room was adjacent to a train bridge - the level of noise even throughout the night was extreme. The room was at best, basic.

The downtown location was convenient for the attractions in which I was interested. In 43 years of staying in hotels around the world, this was the first time I have ever stayed in a hotel room with NO WINDOWS!

Lively area near Chinatown. Good subway access. Friendly staff and good housekeeping. View of Manhattan Bridge very close but window quadruple glazed so noise less of a problem. Only one bedside light and table. Lack of storage for clothes.

Has a line for computer Internet and the wifi is not too bad compare to some inns . Hot water available outside. Too expensive for such a small room !! Hopefully some city guide or information offer in the hotel or the front desk, thx.

This hotel is a little gem, with super-friendly and helpful staff, surprisingly conveniently located and certainly will stay here again. People who complain about the Chinatown setting need to take a reality check: it's life & life only.. Everything was top notch.

The room was not super-luxury, but it was much nicer than many hotels I've stayed in before. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the staff was very helpful. For the money, this is the best value I've ever seen in NYC, particularly if you'll be spending time downtown.

Central location was fine for moving around within the city. The cleanness of the facilities was good & the other guests were of good stature. That I missed my first date of check-in for reasons beyond my control & management did not discount me that date nor did they accommodate my request for late check-out. In spite of the fact that I kept in constant contact while stranded.

I though the hotel was very clean, especially the rooms. The location was good, train stations were 3-4 blocks away which made getting around town easy. The neighborhood (Chinatown), although dirty was safe. Staff was friendly and tentative for the most part. The rooms, for being nyc were good size. There was not porter fee to pay for as a group booking. There was no security whatsoever, anyone could come into the hotel and bypass the front desk which was on the second floor. No key card swipe was required. The coffee they offered was instant, and awful. There was no doorman.

The hotel is cheap comparing with others with the same rating in that Area of ny (Manhattan) Noisy in the room because the railway is too close. Some of rooms does not have a window. I can advice it only as back-up.

Nice room with great front desk help. After checkout we were able to check our bags until our flight later in the evening. Plus flat rate taxi 45$ to jfk through hotel. I enjoyed staying in Chinatown and f line was a 2minute walk from the hotel. Wifi was unreliable.

Comfortable, reasonably clean, on the whole staff helpful (most excellent whilst a couple were disinterested and a little brusque) Subway ran directly past bedroom window, website said manhattan location, was actually in china town and a good distance from main tourist parts of nyc but very close to subway station. Price quoted on website did not include taxes (which was not obvious) so bill was >$100 more than expected. Rooms very dark!!! No main light, just a table lamp.
