The Hotel is well located, close to the Brooklyn Bridge, L.E.S, next subway is 5 minutes away from the hotel. The staff is friendly, the free internet access in the room is a big plus. It is not a luxury but personally I would book the room there again. The air conditioning is very loud but in summer you cannot actually spend a minute in the hotel room without having it on. it can be annoying at night though. but setting the air conditioning off and opening the window isn't any option. The highway is just around the corner and it causes even bigger noise. If there is a way to improve, it would be a big plus. Everything else was ok. |

The Hotel was clean and comfortable and the rooms were nice. The location was not suitable to our needs but there are decent transport links nearby. |

over all liked it alot. I recommeneded by company put it on our approved listing of hotels for business. the decor was very nice and the rooms were very clean and pleasant. Your staff was really helpful and porfessional which is a pleasant experience. Price a ok compared to most in the city but still a bit high for location. room a little small. |

There was absolutely nothing that I liked about Hotel 91. I have traveled considerably and this ranks up there with one of the very worst experiences that I have had to date. This is not a 3 or a 2 star hotel. I have stayed in better motels. The room was generally dirty - walls, carpeting, washroon. The room was small and very poorly lit. There is no mini-bar or fridge. Cheap mismatched furniture. Windows were so filthy that you could barely see out of them. No wireless, just ethernet. The ethernet cable provided with the room did not work. The lamp in the room was broken when we arrived. The noise from the train was utterly unberarable - trains pass every few minutes. There is no lobby to the hotel The location is poor at best - E. Broadway is dirty, filled with waste, boxes, and individuals with no curtesy. There is a very poor selections of places to eat in the immediate area - no food avaialble at the hotel. We stayed one night and booked out. |

I did not like the location, i'd made a big mistake booking this hotel.. If i wanted to go to Hongkong, i would have gone to HK instead of NY.. the area was very smelly, and there was no where to get anything to eat.. The room was bland and and very basic. The lamps in the room didn't work and one was broken.. I won't be staying there again.. |

The hotel itself was not great but also not too bad. The really terrible thing was smell of fish rotting in the street in New York China Town. The shops around are smelly, dirty and accumulating piles of garbage on the pavements. This is not the Manhattan anyone would like to experience – it is Shanghai in a poor and dirty version. I believe it should be notified in the description of the hotel that the area is definitely not brodway (as specified) but chinatown. The hotel is not a value for money deal, regarding problems with location mentioned above. The closest bar or a decent shop is at least 15 min walk in stink of dirt. I cannot recommend this place because of its location. |

It was near the areas where I needed to go; it was clean and had air conditioning. My room was right next to the Manhattan bridge - I could constantly hear traffic, both cars and trains. |

good sized room, very comfortable bed, nice powerful shower, good lighting in the bathroom.... lighting in the main room was very dull. Also, when i booked the room i did ask for a room away from the Brooklyn bridge....my room was right next to it, people walking along the bridge could see right into my room, so i had to keep the curtains closed the entire time i was there. |

The hotel provided excellent customer service -- couldn't have asked for better front desk service. The room was quite spacious, clean, and comfortable -- it easily accommodated 4 adults. The 5th floor room was quiet. The location was near subways and good walking distance to many New York sites. The hotel is more for the adventure minded because of its location in Chinatown. Half of our party of four loved the location, the other two were overpowered by the open market smells. Its a good New York experience, though. As for the hotel itself, can't say anything negative about it. |

Comfortable bed. Pleasant staff. This hotel is not in the Lower East Side, as represented. It is near les, but solidly in Chinatown - terrible stench in immediate neighborhood. Our room was minute, within one block of elevated train. Meager amenities. |

Two of the desk clerks were very nice and helpful. The location and the appearance of the outside of the hotel is very misleading. The hotel front is very nice and attractive, but the area in which it is located is nothing close to that..... |

Despite the drab and dirty appearance of the chinatown area around the hotel, the hotel itself was clean, modern and comfortable. Staff were friendly. There was also complimentary wired internet. Free coffee and tea at the second floor. |

Rooms were clean and spacious. From this location it was easy to get to SoHo and Subways in any direction. Subway bridge noise could be problem for light sleepers. Not sure about security of hotel as check in desk was on second floor and no control on elevator access, anyone could access the hotel floors. |

The room was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable. The view was nice. The subway was not very far. I did not like that there were no safeguards regarding entry to the hotel and entering the hotel with luggage was not easily accessible. |

The room was very comfortable with the air conditioning. It's listed as being "on the edge of China town"..it's in the heart of it. The rooms were lacked accommodations..such as a minifridge. There were no meal services offered so tourists, like myself, had to find meals in the city..more of a breakfast frustration, I suppose. |

The hotel staff where really friendly and helpful. It’s a good and cheap hotel for Manhattan. The location is decent, only a few minutes walk to the subway. Overall the stay at the hotel was very pleasant. It had free wired internet but WiFi would of been nicer. Also, the hotel is in the heart of china town and the street outside the hotel was a bit stinky at times. |

.The beds were comfortable and the bed linens luxurious. the single rooms are small. The noise of the trains through the night are a problem. Reception is on the 2nd floor and there are stairs to negotiate to get to the elevator. The plugs operate with the light switch, shutting off the clock when you turn off the light. It is an expensive cab ride to get cross town. There is no shelf in the bathroom for toiletries. |
