I paid in advance for the room for 1 night. On arrival, I was asked to give my credit card details. $25 was immediately taken off and I was told would be put back in when I checked out. Unfortunately I have not received this money back. I have emailed the hotel and not had a response!
-Wi-Fi always running low -The subway's sound in the night
Very good service, and flexibility, Due to the snow caused the flight delay, I can not check in on time, so ask the Reservation cancel base on the NCNR order, but they have return me the subscription,....I came from China
I loved that the hotel was room was very clean. The bed was really comfy and everything in the room was really modern.
I didn't like the location.
Was skeptical at first due to the cheap price, but was very pleased. I would absolutely stay here again! Very nice and clean on the inside, room was near the bridge but the noise was hardly an issue. The room was small but for me and my boyfriend it was not really an issue. Only complaint was that there was no fridge, but other than that I was overly impressed!
Terrible noise made by trains on the bridge.
Verry strong wifi, free coffee and tea.verry clean
Is close to the train lines and it was a little noise
Internet & food availability
The hotel is well situated on the Lower East Side bordering on China Town. The proximity of the East Broadway Subway station made it easy to access the whole of the New York Subway system. However tourist traps such as Little Italy and Ground Zero were easily walkable. The room and bathroom was clean and modern with a very comfortable bed. The staff were helpful and pleasant. Overall it was very good value.
A kettle to make tea or coffee. There was nowhere really local to get a coffee or meal as the adjacent food and drink places were owned by Chinese with limited English. However Little Italy is 15 minutes walk away so it was no real problem. Some may find the rumble of nearby trains too noticeable but we were on the 3rd floor and found it no real problem.
Value.. Location to Chinatown/ subway Pharmacy across the street
Clean room, no bedbugs. The location was good for us, easy to walk everywhere in lower Manhattan.
The staff wasn't too friendly but that's quite common in NYC. Included breakfast would have been nice but luckily there some ok places to choose from nearby.
Clean room every day, clean towels and made up beds. WiFi and location are perfect!
Beds can be quite small
Cleanness Room size
Subway noise Wi-Fi
Everything about Hotel 91 was great! The location is brilliant with subways really close by and it is only a short walk to the East Village and lower East side. Everything else is easily accessible by the subway. The price was outstanding. There were 4 of us in a double queen room and it was really big with a good sized bathroom. The shower was powerful and always warm and the beds were so comfy.
Sometimes the free wifi was slow. But not too bad overall.
Hotel was great and very clean, you could hardly hear the Manhatten bridge which is right next to the hotel. Staff were great, especially when checking in. Metro station was 5 minute walk and took 15 minutes to get to Times Square.
- Location (Close to subway)
- costs to much Money - it was very cold, no heater
Only one elevator, and very slow.
Goog Internet speed , helpfull staff in reception , clean rooms , good location , good price rate , if I visit NYC again I will do my reservation in this hotel
No breakfast , only one elevator and slow , bad room location and noisy due to train noise
We were only stopping in New York for 2 nights to spend new year as the first step on our honeymoon. We needed somewhere close to the subway and cheap and this covered both! The room was nice enough- not 5 stars but definitely more than what you pay for. The bed was comfy, bathroom was clean and stocked and the room was generally tidy. There is a subway within five minutes walk and from our room (7th floor) we could see the empire state building. The lady at the desk was lovely and helpful.
It is right in the center of Chinatown which is alright if you know where your going but I wouldn't recommend if it was your first visit. I have been to NY before but my husband had not and found it a little too busy out on the street. Its also located right next to the train line so if your a light sleeper then it might be a problem but nothing a pair of ear plugs wont fix- thankfully we were both so tired from our trip we crashed out quickly both nights! The wifi wasn't great but is available everywhere you go outside so if its just for uploading pictures to make people at home jealous then it does the job but I wouldn't imagine videocalling would be great.
Simple and clean hotel, wi-fi was fast and good.
The Chinatown was a terrible location to stay, You would not find any restaurant or a store that serves or sells anything other than Chinese food or Chinese products. The area is pretty dirty, in general. We could not find a general pharmacy either, only Chinese stuff. If you're not into everything Chinese, that's not a place to stay.
staffs are very kind and helpful. location is close to subway station.
wifi connection is unstable
noise from train
reasonably priced vending machines free coffee friendly staff
bathroom had no heating
Value for money & Staff.
Location, dirtiest area in Manhattan.
the location, the efficency of staff
the subway railways were so near that you could not stand the noise every time a train was passing by.
