Place is clean and great for a good sleep, even being close to the bridge. Great different local food near. Subway (F train) is also pretty close.
The street smell is terrible, also the fact that the rooms doesn't have a microwave nor a fridge is a disappoint. Some of the cleaning staff don't speak english.. it was bit of a struggle.
It's right under the manhattan bridge and the hotel shakes and rattles everythime a train passes by. Avoid staying here
the location is close to subway and the room is very confortable
Chianatown is very noisy and smelly
Plenty of room. Great beds. Clean.
No fridge. No safe. No microwave.
clean, comfertable beds, nice location
noise of subway when windows open
Hard to find, unreliable wifi
The room was quite good.
The entrance of the hotel is really impersonal.
price was good ice machine
Wi-Fi was a joke (full signal, no internet connection) the neighbourhood smells kinda funky
Problems with bathroom, homeless people in the hotel
The hotel is close to the Brooklyn Bridge, Wall St. area, and a number of good restaurants. The hotel was very clean, comfortable beds, and attentive staff.
Had some issues connecting to the WiFi on the 7th floor.
Location was great. Close to attractions in lower Manhattan. Close to train.
Small rooms. In China town. Strange setup, lobby on the second floor. Slow elevator, no entry to stairway. Directly below the train bridge. I would say it's more like a two star hotel.
The noise of the train from The bridge
Rude staff, wifi went in and out of service, poor value for the money even by New York standards.
Staff, comfortable bed and easy access to the F train.
Comfortable bed, clean room but could not sleep due to the train outside my window. Earplugs ( which were given to me) didn't help.
Staff was great Location was nice
The hotel was set in a very smelly area of Chinatown Not very close to the subway at all
Friendly and helpful staff. Very affordable for NYC. Loved the AC in the room and a full bathroom!
Location....... Right in the middle of stinky Chinatown!
The staff were great. They made up our rooms every day, quelled a noisy group returning from a nightclub, rang a taxi and refused a tip for doing so. All part of the service. Charming for us NZers to experience Chinese culture and hospitality.
Noisy. The trains rattling past took some getting used to (but added character). Some of our fellow travellers were there to party and had little consideration for others during the wee hours. Perhaps some posters in the lift emphasising the need to be quiet would send the message (Holiday Inn posts such signs to good effect).
I had to option for a room with no windows, in order to avoid the terrible noise from subway trains going through an elevated track, right next to the hotel. Then, the lock on my door failed, and we were offered another no-window room. Staff was helpful and courteous, but I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.
The staff's response to each request plus the security, privacy & cleanliness. Also the maps available & the assistance from your staff about restaurants in the Chinatown area.
The price of the room & airport transportation to the airport. No food at breakfast. Second floor checkin.
Clean and fresh hotel, free Wifi, TV, comfortable beds, good service with a supportive lobby team. An american restaurant and a coffee bar in a 5 minute walking distance in different directions; Everest and 12 Corners. Very good breakfasts there. Close to the subway station East Broadway. We experienced this hotel as good value for money.
The location is close to the Manhattan Bridge with lots of noise from the subway trains 24/7. The room was a bit dark and should benefit from more and stronger lamps. The air condition system was not so fresh air in the room due to the Chinese food market outside. Despite these remarks we consider this hotel to be good value for money.
location is convenient
Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Location was few blocks from subway station and easy walking distance to many restaurants. Train right outside room which was very loud outside but surprisingly quiet once inside. Could hear a slight barely noticable rumble which did not compromise room comfort. Very good value overall.
Hotel is in or near Chinatown, area outside is not clean part of town but knew that going into it, so my expectations were not high there. Wi-fi was free but terrible connections, kept constantly disconnecting or just extremely slow, dial-up is probably faster, would have rather paid for quality wi-fi signal.
instant coffee wi-fi sucked and cut out room was super small no breakfast concierge is on the second floor - so confusing
