No tea/coffee making facilities in the room-wifi signal weak-noise from train
Stayed at the hotel with my 13-year-old son ,we were pleasantly surprised with how clean and comfortable the room was. The staff could have been a little more upbeat and smiled more but overall it was a good experience. The neighborhood is loud and crazy but also really shows a side of New York that is fun for tourists.
Receptionist ordered taxi to airport and recommended local restaurant.
The subway in front of windows, the bed are dirty and the wireless work only at 4am (when the other are sleeping )
Room was clean and comfortable. Great value for money and staff very helpful and friendly.
We were in the 5th floor at the same level as the subway trains travelling over the bridge which was 20 feet from our window! It was noisy, but the quadruple glazing cut most of the noise out, so strongly suggest keeping the windows closed! Saying that, after the first night we'd got used to the noise which sounded more like a strong gust of wind and had a fantastic holiday.
The hotel is located directly by the manhatan bridge, on the 5th floor the metro was very noisy 24h per day - first night we were not able to sleep. By the check-in personnel was very unfriendly. The wifi was disconnecting all the time.
Closeness to tube and wall street
entrance seemed a little shifty and would have been nicer if reception had been on the ground floor.
All of the above.
The trains and bridge traffic right outside, but surprisingly you get used to it and it didn't disrupt a good night's sleep one bit.
too noisy! Subway goes in 10 meters from your window!
It was in the heart of China town, not far from the subway. Nice welcome from the reception staff & given maps for NYC. The room was large, very clean & as reported right next to the bridge. Good earplugs are a must. Don't book this hotel if you are going to complain about the noise. Saying this we will definitely return
location was great! 10 minutes to Wall Street, Brooklin Bridge, subway, Soho, Little Italy; in the middle of Chinatown; clean; they iven have iron:)
noise from subway from Manhattan Brigde (hotel is very close to it; 10 metres maybe); wi-fi sometimes was sometimes wasn't)
the entire building didn't feel like a hotel. everything about the hotel was bad.
Location was great, room comfortable, no problems with that
Though they've done excellent job, the subway passes literally ten meters away from your window. It was as silent it could be, and I (a heavy sleeper) had no issues. I can imagine it could have been the worst night for a light sleeper though....
Beautiful front view. Worker polishing the front when we were their. Very clean. Very nice staff. Like that it was in Chinatown. Culturally nice and different.
our room was right off the main desk. They should relocate the check in desk to the bigger lounge section.
Hotel is very good located in the midst of China Town and has a very good price performance ratio. The hotel is clean and totally ok for a city trip.
Ear plugs are a must, as the hotel is directly located next to the bridge and therefore it is quite noisy.
The location worked out great for us. Walking distance to Chinatown, Little Italy, 9/11 memorial and close to the F train to get to Midtown and Uptown. The staff was very helpful with questions about different things.
The carpet in the room was filthy. Had stains on it everywhere. When I mentioned it to the staff they seemed to just accept the fact that it was what it was.
The trains are very noisy
Close to lots of downtown sites
Nearby overhead subway train noise may bother some people.
Be aware the hotel is located in Mexican district and rather far away from Hollywood
Very clean and a very confortable bathroom
WIFI the worst connection! I had to go to a nearby cofee shop to get my work done.
The staff was incredibly friendly and the hotel was a quick walk or train ride to everything that lower Manhattan has to offer. Also, a great price for that level of convenience.
The room is alarmingly close to the train, so sleep may be a bit of a struggle at times.
Cost was fair at time of booking. Very clean and comfortable bed.Staff helpful.
Booking.com stated my stay at a fair price. But, when I left checked out .There was a $200 more than what was stated when I booked.
good location, away from tourist hubs etc and subway nearby
The location is right next to the YO bus stop from philly to ny chinatown. The beds were clean and so was the room. The shower head was good and had a nice massaging setting that was much needed after dancing at a Bassnectar show!
The shower curtain rod is bent in a weird way so that the curtain does not stay completely closed. By the time I got out of the shower, the whole bathroom was covered in a couple inches of water...
