very small room. Little noisy but acceptable.
good location, close to city center
May 24, 2015
room is no comfort
May 19, 2015
No complaints, everything meet my expectations and if anyone complains about this hotel they complain about life.
May 17, 2015
It didn't bother me much but if I had to say something I didn't like, it would be the noise from the bridge outside our window. I knew from looking on the map how close the bridge was and read reviews as well about the noise so I can't really complain.
The rooms were stocked and very clean. I didn't expect such a nice hotel right in the middle of Chinatown

The hotel has no breakfast facilities, but we found an excellent breakfast spot at Irving Farm Coffee Roasters at the corner of Broomstreet and Orchard Street
The hotel had an excellent level of comfort for a three star hotel. Although it is located directly next to the Manhattan Bridge with a screaming subway (we could almost touch the bridge from our window), the double window was efficient to shut out the noise effectively, reducing the noise to some background rumbling which didn't disturb our nights.

The noise from the train can be heard.
It is very clean. It is also very close to shops and public transport.

They were super nice and accommodating people. Parking was just around the corner. Nice size room, for the city. They let us keep our three bicycles in our room and held our luggage for the whole day, too!

Very very small room and wifi only on your level
Had washing facilities. Near Brooklyn bridge and 10min walk to train
April 30, 2015
HAD A VERY NOISY ROOM FIRST STAY BUT NEXT TWO STAYS PERFECT
GOOD LOCATION FOR OUR TOUR NEEDS.
April 28, 2015
The noise of the train. If you have a light sleep it will be unberable. However it didn't bother me.
Location in the heart of Chinatown and close enough to metro. Room and bathroom was very clean and the bed real comfortable. Good value for money
April 28, 2015
The hotel is just beside the train and some of the rooms have a view straight into the bridge. There is noise from the trains in all rooms. In some rooms it sounds like wind, in other rooms it sounds like the train runs beside your bed, which it almost does...
Central location, value for money, 24 hour reception.
April 27, 2015
Location, cleanliness, helpful staff
April 25, 2015
Subway on Manhattan Bridge could be heard very well, but we didn't really find it that disturbing
A lot of room space for Manhattan with own bathroom with bath and shower, very friendly staff with free use of computer and printer and storing suitcases after checking out
April 24, 2015
A bit of a poor-taste/kitschy feel to the place as you walk in (hallway looks like Chinese shopping complex). Windows and sills were very dirty, and some didn't even close/open properly. Area looks unsafe.
Great location and good value for money (by US standards, considering this is Lower Manhattan). Extremely helpful and kind staff. Great view from the room. Windows did a very good job insulating from outside noise - room next to subway and road bridge.
April 23, 2015
Room on the 6th floor was next to manhattan bridge, wifi could be better
Clean room, spacious bathroom, friendly staff, free coffee in the lobby, close to the subway, in the heart of chinatown, short walk to the wtc, brooklyn bridge,...
April 21, 2015
WiFi could have been better
Nice and clean
April 20, 2015
The noise of the subway - better isolation of the windows would be a good investment.
Size of the room was ok and the bathroom was always clean.
April 19, 2015
Right next to the Manhattan Bridge. Traffic could be easily heard through the double windows.
Close to a subway station. Near to a few good restaurants.
April 18, 2015
Rather unfortunately it is adjacent to the Manhattan Bridge which has both vehicle and subway. Was this a problem overall, probably not, but if you are of a quiet disposition you should probably avoid the location. With all Manhattan hotels it is a balance between, cost, location and size, and this one you need to think about regards location.
Good beds and free coffee. If you like downtown it is ideal for Little Italy, Chinatown, Soho and East Village.
April 18, 2015
The location. Chinatown is a dump! The smells outside are pungent! Our room was right next to the train track and it was constraint! The train is passing every 3 minutes. The secondary glazing does drown some of the noise out but it does prevent you from opening the window but, the air conditioning takes care of that!
Couldn't fault the hotel, staff, facilities, or value for money. The hotel itself was great and the room was cleaned everyday with fresh bedding and towels and toiletries. The hotel is located a couple of minutes walk away from the subway which takes you straight up to 'where it's all happening'. You can get off the subway underneath the Rockefeller building.
April 15, 2015
The sound of the trains going through the Manhattan bridge.
The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in a hotel.
April 15, 2015
we had a problem with bedbugs in one room, but then we changed rooms and problem disappeared
location - edge of Chinatown, near to WTC clean rooms helpful staff price/quality
April 14, 2015
Wifi is really weak and spotty in the rooms.
Convienient location, walking distance to the subway, china town and little Italy. Room was as pictured, comfortable and clean, working tv with cable, hot water in the bathrooms and the staff were helpful.
April 11, 2015
Slow and unreliable wi-fi connection. Very close to train tracks, which some people might not like (didn't bother us).
Friendly, very helpful staff. Spotless, comfortable rooms with great maid service. Good location in Chinatown, with LES and East Village only streets away, and a subway station close by. Excellent value for money.

the trains where very noisy at night, especially because its 24hours
