Location, clean, included parking
Paying nearly full price for hotel, some rooms lack charm, breakfast more like a chain-hotel continental buffet than like a typical home-made meal.
The accommodation was directly across the street from an event I was attending. It doesn't get much better than that. The Bedroom was adequate for one person. The bath room was spacious with a large walk in shower
TV was small which made it difficult for me to view the screen without HD.
Comfortable room and friendly staff.
Bed was not a queen bed, decor was horrible! Bed was lumpy and sagged in the middle.
Decor - beautiful Manager- very personal and friendly Breakfast - good selection, excellent coffee Informal dining room Location - away from city centre but close to subway, Harvard, amenities
2 flights of stairs to the attic bedroom!!
The Cambridge house was fine, but we were directed to the "contemporary" house next door on arrival. Only got to stay in the actual Cambridge house after a cancellation.
The night attendant was very hard to understand and not friendly and told us to go next door. Be sure to look at the fine print on the confirmation. The small word at the bottom "contemporary" means you go next door to a very small room. The lady the next day was very nice and accommodating.
Our room was very large and quiet.
The bathroom was tiny, the drapes in the bedroom were very dusty and dirty, the windows did not open and the outside patio was unswept and trashy.
Very convenient, reasonable price and helpful staff.
It was impossible to open an window and so it was necessary to use the air condition which was noisy and not always very effective.
The B&B was in a nice location in Cambridge. You could easily walk to the Red Line, which will take you anywhere in Boston. Some nice places to eat and explore within walking distance as well.
Everything in the Boston area is relatively expensive. The room was small and the breakfast was minimal.
Nicely decorated property.
Info on the "Harvard traffic experience" would have been nice.
Clean, comfortable, and well-appointed room Helpful and efficient staff Abundant and varied breakfast Good security Strong wi-fi Great location - just 10 minutes' walk from Porter Square T station
Nothing not to like!
Location Helpfulness of staff
Wonderful accommodation, close to T (metro Davis) (500mt) , quiet, ancient house nicer than contemporary but everything ok!! Andrea is a wonderful land lady, likable and welcoming!!
It's really a great value for what you get. The room was spacious and was a very easy walk to the subway. We also loved all the restaurants close by around Davis Square.
The housekeeping was so so and the breakfast was completely unimpressive. I'm not a picky eater but I found myself sticking to the cereal.
great place, great location, convenient to public transport. Clean, everything in working order, well organised, quiet and very friendly staff. Good value for money.
Breakfast was a bit frugal. Continental only, from a B&B I'd have expected a full English breakfast.
Location, cleanliness, attractive and comfortable furnishings, outdoor patio area, friendliness and helpfulness of staff, choices for breakfast.
Location Price Staff Parking Main house common rooms
Second house -sterile
Supermarket with great delis just on the opposite side of the road, quiet rooms, close to metro, breakfast was delicious and nicely decorated
The staff was helpful. Lower cost than most in the area.
Hotel could use a good cleaning. The breakfast was a major disappointment. Only protein was hard boiled eggs at room temperature. Breads were not the freshest.
Very helpful staff. Nice breakfast. Homey and clean.Free parking.
The location is close to the subway to visit downtown.
Would have liked to see more hot breakfast foods.
easy in & out.
room was ver small.
Availability. Security/door lock system.
Third floor room, no offer of help getting luggage upstairs. Breakfast was self-serve, plain ol' continental style, nothing special at all. A/C in room did not sufficiently cool the room, despite running it at high speed and low temps. Flooring nails poking through at doorway to closet and bathroom....got me a few times!
The staff was very polite and helpful.
I stayed for 7 nights and after the first day, the room was not cleaned. I would like to think that it was a misunderstanding as the rest of the days the room was punctually cleaned and bed made. The breakfast was not as vary as I would have expected.
So clean and kept up
Price was a bit much
