    It's really a great value for what you get. The room was spacious and was a very easy walk to the subway. We also loved all the restaurants close by around Davis Square.

    The housekeeping was so so and the breakfast was completely unimpressive. I'm not a picky eater but I found myself sticking to the cereal.

    great place, great location, convenient to public transport. Clean, everything in working order, well organised, quiet and very friendly staff. Good value for money.

    Breakfast was a bit frugal. Continental only, from a B&B I'd have expected a full English breakfast.

    Supermarket with great delis just on the opposite side of the road, quiet rooms, close to metro, breakfast was delicious and nicely decorated

    The staff was helpful. Lower cost than most in the area.

    Hotel could use a good cleaning. The breakfast was a major disappointment. Only protein was hard boiled eggs at room temperature. Breads were not the freshest.

    The location is close to the subway to visit downtown.

    Availability. Security/door lock system.

    Third floor room, no offer of help getting luggage upstairs. Breakfast was self-serve, plain ol' continental style, nothing special at all. A/C in room did not sufficiently cool the room, despite running it at high speed and low temps. Flooring nails poking through at doorway to closet and bathroom....got me a few times!

    The staff was very polite and helpful.

    I stayed for 7 nights and after the first day, the room was not cleaned. I would like to think that it was a misunderstanding as the rest of the days the room was punctually cleaned and bed made. The breakfast was not as vary as I would have expected.

    The location was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable.

    The mattress had a plastic cover on it, it was hot and very loud, I asked to have it removed and the staff refused. The employee whose name was Sam was rude, oppositional and downright unpleasant. I tried to tell him some things about the room and he argued with me. The owner needs to know this and fire him.

    Location on Massachusetts Ave was convenient to Cambridge events. Clean, freshly redecorated rooms, although a bit small. Good breakfast. Adequate free parking.

    Shower not functioning properly. Could use a bigger TV. Street noises.

    Location is great: on Mass Ave, on a bus line, not far from the T; easy to navigate to and from if you come by car (and there is parking). AT the same time, walking distance to Porter Square and Harvard Square. Lovely old house, a real B&B inn. And the Contemporary part is nice too. Surprisingly quiet. It's not cheap exactly, but a good deal by Boston standards. Good breakfast in a cozy breakfast room.

    While some of the staff (the owners, I think) are lovely, others could really stand to be nicer. Example: I'm asking a question of the guy at the front desk; he starts to talk to me, then takes a call; he says, excuse me it's private, and shuts the door in my face. Example: just as I'm about to leave, I find my car tire is flat. This is a minor disaster, since it's Sunday afternoon and I do have to get home. The employee, when asked for help, says curtly: "I have no idea. You have to call Triple-A." I suppose that was the right answer. But what about, "Oh I'm so sorry, let me think what we could do"; or, "Do you need to use the phone?" or: "Do you want to sit in the lounge while you make your phone calls?" or: "If you need to stay another night, we do have a a room available" (I did, and they did have a room, but didn't say so until I asked.)

    Comfortable, clean and good location.

    Breakfast was a bit disappointing-especially for a bed and BREAKFAST. The pastries were good, but there was not very much else to choose from. A hot entree or eggs would have made it more complete.

    Quiet, beautifully furnished, good breakfast in a pleasant, homey area. You can tell the owners take pride in their inn and have put a lot of thought into furnishing it. Staff very friendly and helpful.

    nice decor, good breakfast, comfortable bed, clean.

    street noise all night in our room on the street side of the hotel. Heating radiators made noises each time they went on and off.

    Depending who was on the front desk it ranged from excellent to fair. We enjoyed chatting with the woman when she was on. The other front desk people really made no effort to interact, Food was good and varied. Great location for our visit. .Good sized room and quiet.

    Bathroom was small. We were in the ajacent building not the main house. Not as charming as the Victorian.
