My viewed hotels
The building is beautiful and tasteful. Loved the walking paths.
Nothing. It was a great start to our vacation.
Loved the fitness room and pool. Comfy spacious rooms.
We loved staying in Alyeska hotel after staying other places in Alaska not nearly as nice. A nice change after "roughing it" a couple of days near Denali park. Great mountain views and a ride up the tram to look was included in our stay.
Nothing really. The drain in our tub was clogged, so we had to wait for the water to recede between showers. That was minor to us.
great place, helpful concierge, possibility of hiking, cycling...
.... very limited windows opening, terrible cuisine....
Worth the time and money to stay here rather than Anchorage. I loved this place. We will be back
The hotel´s surrounding areas are just unbelievably amazing! It´s like paradise, the whole green areas, the mountains, the ski station even in summer, the trails... and inside, also nice and cozy. It was a fantastic experience.
The facilities were wonderful. Hiking trails were well marked and easily accessible from the lodge. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was just right.
Can't think of a thing!
The rooms were spacious. The outside landscape was so beautiful. Some of the many flowers were labeled, which was helpful as a tourist.
Wait for in room breakfast
The swimmingpool was exellent and the view from the room was great
Very crowded in the bar and restaurants, we had to wait long to be seated. Aldo in the morning it took 15 minuten before we had a table.
cost of one night was 322.00 should have been around 130.00
The location and view were excellent, the rooms were very nice, and the staff were friendly and efficient. The seven glaciers restaurant was great.
I would have appreciated easy access to a public computer to print boarding passes etc., since I didn't bring a computer or smart phone.
The Hotel Alyeska is reliably clean, the staff is professional and friendly, and the entire experience conveys a more elegant surrounding without pretentiousness. I have never had a bad experience with the staff or the condition of the rooms.
There are few choices in the area and even in summer when the hotel is not being used for its primary purpose the rates remain high.
Food was excellent
Having to pay to use computer
Location, excellent food at most places, especially at top of mountian.
The starbucks/cafe was seriously lacking.
Everything you need for international resort hotel is there
The grounds are gorgeous and the view from the restaurant stunning. We were very comfortable here and would have liked to stay longer if time allowed.
Good swimming pool Excellent area around the hotel Spacious rooms
Some staff trying to be too sweet. Very unpleasant girls at the front desk.
The hotel (everything), the wonderful location, and the rice along the coast from Anchorage to this beautiful location. Perfect hotel to actually get the feel of a quaint area of local folks in Alaska. Better than I dreamed of!!
Loved the tram access and glacier bowl and hiking with ascending path. Great salt water swimming pool and hot tub! Shuttle was handy.
Hotel too far from town for walking. Staff rattled off information like she did it one million times that day... Barely looking at us. We figured most things out. Deli was out of most sandwich choices?!?
The views out the mountains from the sitting room and lovely Lake room. The indoor pool was the best ever, warm and large. The hotel offered many walks, long and short, right from the hotel and the tramway trip up the mountain was great. Had a drink in the bat at the top while enjoying the view.
The wifi was not available in rooms only in the public reas.
Beautiful location right at the base of the mountains. Beautiful view from our room. Most staff were extremely solicitous. Comfortable bed (wanted to take it with me), nice large clean bathroom, great shower. Various restaurants to choose from.
Turndown crew at end of day were too loud going down the hallway. You could hear them every night way before they got to our room. Requested from maintenance that a bulb be replaced on desk. They said they would have it done the next day. It was never replaced.
Staff happy to do anything they could to help, restaurants very good value especially when compared to Old Girdwood shops, tram trip "WOW",room and facilities very nice, pool and whirlpool we'll what do you say about looking out over the mountains while relaxing in a whirlpool.
