*Great location to get around town; close to shopping & dining *Free newspapers *Good price *Suite - 2 tvs, fridge *Complimentary dinners & beer or wine
*The pillows were of various sizes & were not great - caused poor sleep. *SIRENS!! Hospital next door caused sleeplessness *Breakfasts got boring with same food everyday. Too much cheese added to eggs & potatoes
Breakfast had lots of choice. Excellent location Staff were very helpful and friend Lovely bar next door Centre of shops
The immediate impression of the confusing and unwelcoming lobby of the a combined Homewood suites and Hampton suites was greatly disappointing. The staff seemed uneducated and u professional to be honest, some of them were dismissive at my annoyance in not havering two queen beds, not one king bed. It almost seemed to me that your patrons were "afterthoughts" to what?
Well equipped room. Great views. comfy bed
Breakfast was poor, plastic knives and forks with polystyrene plates. Air con was a bit noisy. Plastic sheet on the bed.
we like the location because it was close to everything.
free breakfast and dinner. amazing food always. Great staff was so helpful with all our questions!
duct tape on our windows. mold on the floor boards. couldve been cleaner.
Loved the new location in the middle of beautiful Magnificent Mile. Convenient. Gorgeous views from rooftop outdoor pool. Helpful staff and good breakfast. We will be back.
On the Magnificent Mile, close to the subway, easy to walk to everywhere. Staff was well versed in helping us with directions, sightseeing and where the best Deep Dish Pizza was
The pool was on the roof, great for the summer but fall and winter? Could have used a hot tub or spa after walking so much
Location fantastic rooms clean and a good size absolutely worth staying here
Excellent, convenient location. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Super slow elevators (particularly in the morning); ambulance sirens throughout the night due to nearby hospital; and slow draining bathtub (several inches of standing water).
The stuff was very nice and helpful. The room and the bathroom was clean. We stayed in the "sweet corner" and the view magnificent. The food at breakfast was really good and tasty.
The fan coil had a kind of old smell at start up...it really should be cleaned...
The room was excellent, the view was pretty good, and having a full kitchenette was quite nice.
Amazingly packed, slow elevators.
The staff was great. Great area. Walking distence to a lot of the highlight place in Chicago.
Parking is a little high. But we stayed four days and they gave was one day free.
Every thing was fine
Easy to get to. Cheaper self-parking structures within 1 block. Great gyms. Decent pool. Great breakfast.
Walls r thin. Used ear plugs to tune out gospel singing and partying neighbors.
Hotel was clean and newly renovated so nothing had a worn out feeling. The decor was comfortable and relaxing with spacious bedrooms. The pool was a great perk for the teenagers. Breakfasts were nicely varied with good quality food and dining atmosphere. We would definitely stay here again.
The staff was still new since the hotel had opened 10 days prior to our arrival. The staff did not know all the hotel procedures such as which department handled what service. For example, housekeeping handled the mail and not the front desk. Never did get my mail even though I was there for 8 days. The laundry facilities were not operational while I was there because the installation wasn't complete until the evening before we left. There are two hotels in one building but two check in desks. Staff jumped from one desk to the next in a disruptive chaos. This is not the area to try to achieve economies from cross over. A new sign was installed while we were there but the workmen left their metal scraps on the roof and these were visible from the breakfast area. Parking was higher than market rate and valets were slow.
We liked the rooftop swimming pool. At night we went back to the rooftop to take in the view of the city. Location of hotel was ideal- in walking distance to train. Our room was very clean and roomy. Also had continental breakfast. Would stay there again if in Chicago.
Great room with tons of space in a good location. Excellent overall value for room price.
Greeting from the front desk was extremely discourteous. The front desk representative made me feel like I was putting her out to simply check me in.
I booked crowne plaza on bookings.com, the hotel has changed its name and address, which is 150 huron st not 160
room location flexibility of staff
view from our room; courteous staff; room was very quiet
And the stay here was great.
location, location, location!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Location to all amenities, Ventra card for public transport, $25 dollars gave complete freedom of travel from the airport all over Chicago and back to the airport for 3 days, cta buses and trains.
Fire brigade sirens all the time, day and night, car horns sounding
Two rooms, an almost kitchen - no oven - but full fridge, real glasses, two TVs, very quiet. Good front desk.
The breakfast was godawful. The "quiche" was an ineatable glop. Take a cue from Holiday Inn express; they have it down.
