The best breakfast so far in the U. S. & the only decent cup of tea.
Innkeeper Alicia makes her B&B a truly special place to stay, gorgeous bed and delicious breakfast, but even more unique and special is Alicia herself with her enthusiasm, wit and wisdom. Grand experience - go and enjoy too!
Very quaint b&b Clean and the owner went out of her way!!!
This gorgeous restored Victorian B and B is run by a one woman wonder. She is friendly, very knowledgable about the history of the area and a fabulous chef. The house is beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. The price is a bit steep but if you are looking for a classic B and B experience you will not be disappointed. I would definitely go back.
Cleanliness, food quality and service.
The breakfasts served here were delicious as well as generous. Our host was Polish and treated us with their idea of hospitality. She welcomed us with a glass of wine and told us interesting stories of her homeland. She was also a good source of restaurant recommendations.
Nothing to dislike here!
Very friendly innkeeper. She was very accommodating and helpful. The public spaces (living and dining room) were nicely done.
Some of the fixtures were dated and the room lacked any sense of charm.
The heating system Was very high temperature, could be a little colder inside.
The breakfast was superb. And the rooms amazingly beautiful, clean, elegant and large. Nothing to do with small, smelly chain hotel rooms.
I loved the BreaKfast in the morning! Delicious!
everything was good
Everything - such a nice place
Nothing everything was pretty much perfect
It was historic. Beds were comfortable.
Our bathroom was down the hall.We had to request a key to lock it so no one else used it.Very dark, poor lighting.Even the remote for the tv was faulty. We arrived and the curtain rod had fallen off so we had to wait for our room until it could be fixed.Would stay on the other side of town our next visit.Owner did not have visitor info to share with us.Not helpful staff.
The beautiful decor and the friendliness of our hostess. Very clean and a delicious breakfast.
location excellent; good breakfasts and very friendly owner. Loved the history of the house, and owner very happy to share this with us.
The proprietor was delightful. Her breakfast was fine.
small town--good proximity to FDR home and library and Vanderbilt country mansion.
Breakfast, convenience to the historic district, owner.
I thought it was a little over-priced.
