Great location in the center of Gettysburg and five minute drive to Gettysburg National Park Military battlefield. The B&B rooms were comfortable and quiet with a well stocked kitchen for breakfast and snacks. The owners were extremely helpful regarding the Gettysburg town and battlefield.

    Convenient to Gettysberg battlefield

Breakfast was do-it-yourself, with Bagels, packaged sweet rolls, jams, and cereals. All cold.

This is a little reasonable B&B place we've been in our trip through Pennsylvania. We stayed there just for a night. The best thing is its location very close to Gettysburg historical places. Also it's a small and a quiet one. The host and the hostess are very friendly and attentive. In addition you may use the kitchen on your own any time you need. And rooms in the hotel are so amusing and decorated with true stuff 30-40-50th of the XX-th century. We liked it!

Decor was awesome..the owner was very nice..went out of her way to get fresh Daisy's that my husband requested..my 10 yr old loved having her own a joining room..the help yourself kitchen was nicely stocked and super cute.

Minor things..an alarm clock would be good .TV need updating with remotes that work..

24 hour access to the kitchen!

Close to a construction site so woken early by noise. Bad connectivity on wi-if was an inconvenience as we needed to check emails regarding the next stage of our holiday.

The location, the room was very comfortable

Fix your own breakfast, but knew that ahead of time. We have never stayed in a B&B where the host was not living there. To be fair that aspect was not to our liking but for some I'm sure not an issue

The owners phoned me prior to my reservation date to verify a requested change to add another day to my reservation. Great location for the Gettysburg experience. Easy access to the battlefield and visitors center.

I discovered after the fact that my two trip across Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania had unknowingly been booked through Booking.com I did not like the fact that it placed distance between myself and the front desk of every hotelery I used. I repeatedly was told "Well, we don't know because this reservation is through booking.com" I had assumed that I was dealing directly with the management of each hotel when I made my reservations.

    Location. Nice staff. Clean.

Air conditioner was at head of bed. Sheets older and tended to come off bed, made sleeping less pleasant.

We were in town for the Gettysburg reenactment. The quaint b&b was perfect. Very clean and comfortable. Walking distance to town. Felt like I was at grandma's house. Highly recommend this place. Barbra was super sweet and accommodating. We will be back.

I liked that other guests were very quiet as we were when we came in late. The owner was very helpful and even let us borrow a CD and map to get around the battlefield on our own. My daughter and I really enjoyed our room and we even had our own parking space in the back. The location was very convenient and we enjoyed walking around Gettysburg.

We were really looked after by Steve and Barbara. The 24hr breakfast was a real plus and nothing was too much trouble. Very convenient position, within easy walking distance of most restaurants.

Not really a don't like, but just a comment. Just a few too many items of memorabilia in our room to allow enough space for all our luggage. Travelling from the UK we had more than the usual.

Continental breakfast. Kitchen open 24 hours. Very responsive owners: Suggested that the milk selection include lactose-free milk, and Barbara went out and purchased it. Comfortable downstairs parlor. Comfortable bed. We would certainly recommend this B & B, the minor complains in the next box notwithstanding.

Mild complaints: bathroom did not have a night light so we left the light on the entire night; the inside of the bathroom door could use a knob; for some reason, the water cut-off to the toilet was not opened the entire way. The lamp on one side of the bed could use a shade and a new on-off switch.

Centrally located to shops, restaurants, and the battlefield. Walking into the town square and surrounding streets was exceptionally accessable. I am glad I did not stay at a modern hotel miles away from town, however cost friendly. I even got to sit on the porch at night and watch the world go by.

Lack of choice in fruit for breakfast. Traffic noise in the front bedroom. I wore earplugs and slept like a baby on the comfortable bed.

This B&B is lovely, perhaps the best B&B I have ever stayed in. The owners are friendly and helpful and couldn't have been more welcoming. Barbara went above and beyond to help us out when we arrived. The rooms are lovely: clean, comfortable and decorated in beautiful period style (a different period in each room). The kitchen is always open for you to help yourself to hot drinks or a snack. I can't recommend the B&B too highly!

The Wifi could be a bit slow sometimes

We loved the sense of history walking into this property. Barbara has obviously spent a lot of time and effort making the rooms appear tasteful and with interesting themes. We loved the feel of this place and it was very conveniently located for restaurants and walking downtown. We highly recommend a stay here
