I have been to fancier hotels but none had the level of personal attentiveness and attention to detail. From the personal service to the artistic touches. A Sunset Chateau personifies charm.
Lovely, beautiful, location away from the main highway. Great views and very friendly people. Excellent concierge service which really made our stay so memorable.
Can't think of any.
This place is unique. Not many rooms. So its quiet and cozy. We loved it there. They helped us with everything...restaurants... hikes...things to see. The breakfast was good and we really enjoyed the place...we ll come back for sure!!!
Breakfast was wonderful! Dining area was very comfortable and colorful with a beautiful view of the mountains. The greatest thing about our breakfast experience was the personality and service of our server/chef, Iliana. She cooked a wonderful meal and was happy to explain how it was made. We were very pleased with our room and our view of the mountains from our large window. Everything was clean, comfortable and well arranged. We made a great choice for our stay in Sedona!
The location is away from Main streets .. It's quiet peaceful even though it's by a red sand factory. Inside is a little getaway vortex. You forget about everything and the rush of life and you can slow down take a deep breath and really let go and relax. The town is near by with great shops and restaurants. The breakfast is extremely delicious with different dishes served each morning. Rooms are excellent in decorations space, utilities, and comfort. Showers are cozy but well decorated with rock tile.
The customer service by the owners was awful. If it wasn't for the friendly breakfast staff and cleaning crew this place could go down hill very quickly. At check in they couldn't help figure out room space for our party and since we used another "online agent" their hands were tied. Each morning at breakfast the gentleman would talk to every other table except ours even though we were staying a whole week! Again, his assistants, cleaning crew, breakfast crew, and staff made it better to over see his lack of customer service skills. In the room that sleeps up to four or five the doors were extremely difficult to open and loud when you did open them waking everyone up just to go to the bathroom. For a highly rated bed and breakfast you'd think they would have the details down. The shower would rarely have hot water it would take over 30 min to get got water and when hot water would come out it would run out mid shower with soap still in your eyes and ice cold water coming through. The beds were extremely comfortable they have soft medium and firm but the sheets or mattress cover were quite loud just turning over at night. The location is great but you did have sand truck and trailers coming through in the morning. So, if peace and quiet is your thing, you might have to spend a bit more money on a higher room to avoid "less" noise.
Everyone was very friendly and made us feel welcome
Location, space, breakfast.
Decorations were overwhelmingly tacky: plastic flowers; Mexican ponchos in the garden, pool, suites, etc.;birds, burros and crafts...too much! It looks older and tacky for the money they charge. A 2 1/2 star or 3 at the most.
The owners were onsite, available and very friendly. The service was outstanding. We loved the patio room we stayed in and the facilities were top drawer. We will definitely stay here in the future.
We celebrated our 46 wedding anniversary in Sadona and spent 2 nights at the Chateau. We found the Chateau to be warm , friendly and beautiful. Great proximity to all of Sadona and the grounds and aminoties of the Chateau, itself, we're excellent. Property was beautiful, staff and owners were warm, courteous, obliging and always available. The breakfasts were home cooked/gourmet with some request options . All made our time with them very special.
Hard mattress in our suite. Landscape was a mess and untidy. Areas of debris and trash adjacent to suites or between parking and buildings. They have cut the tops out of their trees I presume in order for the suites up the hill to have a supposed better view.
The views, the owners were super-nice and extremely helpful with recommendations.
Not much I didn't like. Maybe add a workout room and better selection of breakfast options.
Very impressive location overlooking the natural beauty of Sedona while being close to shopping and dining. Intimate, comfortable, well appointed suite. Well maintained grounds with secluded pool and spa area. Excellent breakfast prepared and served by a congenial staff. Owner was on site and pleasantly engaged most guests after their meal. This is one of the nicest B&B's I have stayed in. A return trip is certain.
It was very clean, accommodating, peaceful, and close to everything but not too close. Nice view of the rocks every morning.
Beautiful views! Rooms were very spacious and nicely decorated. Bed was comfy. Good location! Close to shopping and restaurants! Very nice staff. Excellent breakfast! I will definitely be returning with family and friends!
The villas are very spacious, comfortable and clean.I loved having my own porch area. Views outstanding! Breakfasts were delicious! Would highly recommend this hotel!
Some of the common areas could have been a little cleaner. (cobwebs, leaves, dusty,)Overall very nice!
Rooms were beautifully appointed and very comfortable, felt like a chic home! Breakfast was awesome Staff was very friendly and helped us with all of our activity planning Stunning views from room porches
The location was great, quite and clean rooms...The staff was also very friendly.
For spending so much money to stay there the food was not great....I would have liked more of an option (instead of just eggs..made different ways)...even those were not very tasty.
The "excellent" rating simply isn't high enough. Nothing has been overlooked.
Friendly staff, excellent food, luxurious accommodations. Thank you for creating memories to remember for a lifetime. We will be back.
The quaint feel of the facility The grounds and gardens were well maintained Friendliness of owners and staff
Everything! Wished we could have stayed longer.
An amazing place at a beautiful location! I would love to visit again...
Great view, very nice, well decorated, beautiful garden
Ran out of hot water during shower.
I liked the whole theme of the place. The breakfast were also excellent.
