rooms in need of revamp
Location and cost.
Walls were thin..inconsistent housekeeping supplies..towels, soap.. Our a/c was out but maintanence fixed it right away.
15 Minute walk to the park
Rock hard beds, bring an air matress
The bed was fairly comfortable
The free breakfast was terrible and minimal, consisting of only two highly sugared kid's cereals, gas station danish rolls, orange juice and coffee, and was "served" in the tiny lobby where there was no seating. There was no lamp near the bed -- only an overhead light in the room. The towel rack in the bathroom was missing and you could see the holes in the wall, so we had to precariously stack towels on the toilet. The maid service took away towels and coffee cups but never replaced them so I had to track down a staff person every day for these items. The hot tub had only tepid water so we didn't ever use it.
Close to Disneyland (10 minute walk through staff car park into downtown disney) Opposite Denny's and a couple of other restaurants. Paid $60 per night so got what I expected for that price. Pool looks nice, was only there for 1 night so didn't use it.
Small Rooms, 2 adults and 2 teenage children not enough space to put 4 suit cases and your extra carry on's etc, Very Hard Beds, Rooms look like they are being refurbished, 1 was stripped out and had workmen in it, ours was half done, half a wall plastered in the bathroom. Carpet was dirty to look at didn't want to walk on it in bare feet. Only 1 washer and 1 dryer had to find the manager to unlock the door.
The place was clean and a great place if you can get it for 60 or less any more is to much
The WiFi don't work for anything you have to be in the lobby but its a good place if you can get it for 60 or less
Location Price Cleanliness
This motel is a standard older style motel but clean, spacious, well appointed with everything one really needs. Fridge, Microwave, TV, AC, table and chairs etc. The one thing missing was a coffee maker but the manager, Octavio got one immediately for me. Octavio is great, friendly and attentive.and the only person (of many) that offered to help carry our luggage up stairs. (We found all of our hosts friendly & caring, even the places that were not so good physically) Location is about as close to Disneyland as can be without actually being in it! Plenty of on site parking too altough I did not have a vehicle at this time.
That we couldn't stay longer!
Location to Disneyland Beds were comfortable
Staff unfriendly and rude Towels stained Not enough towels for amount of people staying Bathtub and shower in disrepair
it was a easy walk to the park, the price. Receptionist was always friendly.
The fact that they have a NON -Refundable Policy. The pillows were too SOFt. The fact I cold here a baby cry in the next room at 3am, The fact Iw as woken up at 9am by hammering as the re-decroated the next room to mine. I thought the Shower form up stairs was going to come through my Ceiling the noice was so loud. The cable reception was horrible
We stayed here to go to Disneyland and it's perfect location made for a great 15 walk also the staff was super nice and helpful
Needs more pillows
The lo action is great for people walking to Disneyland Park and need to save money on a room. The staff was VERY polite and accommodating.
The TVs could to be updated to flat screen. There was a shortage of towels so we couldn't get an extra towel.
This is my second time booking with Abby's Anaheimer Inn, I like the customer service and the location. I will definitely go there again
Jacuzzi is not working and Wi-Fi is poor
Staff was nice. Easy parking.
Towels and sheets were stained. A/C unit didnt work properly. Even though the room itself was no smoking, there was a smoking station right outside the room so it stunk anyways. Yes,technically they are across from Disneyland but still a pretty lengthy walk around the disneyland parking lot and through the disney hotel just to get to downtown disney.
the bathroom was full of ants, everything was sticky, wasn't enough towels, bedding and towels were stained, its better to pay a couple of hundred bucks more and stay in clean motel. The hotels isn' t across the disneyland you have to walk 20-25 minutes, breakfast was continental with coffee, tea cerial, milk and cruasans.
It was t exactly a cross the street as I read and assumed, but close enough/convenient to park via walking.
Although the room, staff was great and housekeeping went up and beyond both days the tub was my highest concern. Having two young kids that needed baths....and the tub appearing worst than some camping bathrooms I've attended. ..i went to the extreme of laying towels so our feet and their bums wouldn't directly touch it. Although I'm sure it had been cleaned, i just ciuldnt get over the appearance. If I would suggest anything...it would be getting a tub upgrade, but everything else GREAT job.
Updated rooms, very nice staff, very close to Disneyland
Found a dirty sock on the floor, a bit loud outside (from other rooms) at night, not a lot of parking
This is a great little place to stay if you are looking for a base around the Disney Presinct. The place is an older style of motel and if you're looking for flat screen TVs or massaging showers you won't find them here. That said however, it's comfortable friendly and clean. The folks running it were endlessly helpful and patient. It has a guest laundry which is always a plus an it's located right on the main pickup point for all local tours. I can happily recommend this place for it's value for money.
Price for my children and I was nice.
We arrived in LAX at 1130pm, drive to Anaheim, checked in AR 12, needed to shower and eat, and someone complained because "my kids were being too noisy"?? All we did was shower and heat up some cup noodles! Bleh.
For the price it was clean . However furniture was out dated and used. Yes of stay again .
The room was sprayed for bugs. It really needed to be aired out BADLY. The window was screwed shut.
When we go to Disneyland we always stay at Abby's. It's within walking distance and always low priced. We are not usual resort visitors. We spend the whole time in the parks. For us, the hotel is a place to sleep and store luggage. We have stayed at Abby's, and will continue to do so. Lately we have noticed that the management has been upgrading the rooms. That's a plus.
No negative issues in our last trip.
I like the pool and the fact that the staff let us swim a little bit past closing time.
Microwave didn't really work and the ac vents were broken so I had to jimmy them to blow up instead of down
Lovely pool area. Large, clean rooms. Helpful staff. Good, continental breakfast.
There was really nothing positive about this stay other than the fact that I was able to find another hotel for the length of time that my fiance and I would be in town. We previously booked this place twice because we liked the location. It is within walking distance of the parks and a perk is that parking is free here while many other locations charge you a daily fee for parking and breakfast.
Called to extend my reservation and was told no problem yet when my fiance and I arrived they had no record of us extending our reservation and had booked the room we were scheduled to stay in the next four nights. They told us they had one room available but we would have to come back a few hours later for someone to clean it. We went to downtown Disney and then returned to the hotel. We were given our room keys and headed up to room 216. It was disgusting. The ac did not work, the bedspread was torn on both sides, there was a blood stain in the shower, carpet was stained all over, and the tv turned on to a burned in image of some porn scene. Within ten minutes, we were killing spiders as well. We requested a different room and were treated as though we created an inconvenience. They gave us a different room, two doubles instead of the king room we had booked, and were offered no compensation. We slept fine until around 7am when our door was opened by a man who then apologized saying "Sorry, I didn't think anyone was in here"...we got up and checked out of our one night room and packed our things back in the car since we would be moving rooms for the next four nights...we went to the park and returned around 8pm to check in to our new room and Liz told us that there was no record of our reservation. We told her that Denise told us we would be in 116 for the rest of our stay and Liz told us that they booked that room earlier in the day. She went on to call Denise and Octavio who had checked us out of the first room and was on the phone laughing about how she couldn't find our reservation and she joked with us "Oh the communication here is horrible"...about twenty minutes later she found our paperwork right in front of her on the desk and then rudely asked for my id to verify I was the right person, after I had given it to her twice and she had a copy of it attached to the paperwork.
