everything. the room was lovely, the bed was very comfortable, the decor was beautiful. Food at the Inn was excellent, the grounds nice, thestaff friendly and helpful.
there was nothing i di dnot like.
The location is priceless, and the room was lovely: gas kiva fireplace, southwestern tile floors and bath. Breakfast (not included) was fast and delicious. They also have a nice gift shop with a good selection of books and local arts and crafts.
The inn has no public spaces-- like a lobby or sitting room. For a solo traveler, there was no place to go outside of the guestroom or to meet other people. The staff did their jobs well, but did not go out of their way to engage with guests and help them experience more of Abiquiu.
Casita Adobe style decor especially gas fireplace, comfort, landscaping, excellent on site restaurant, gift store, gallery, helpful staff.
Wifi could be improved.
setting is gorgeous.Within a few miles, nature gave a spectacular show !! Close to Ghost Ranch....you were in an O'keefe painting !!
This was my 3rd Visit here and I love it. Of course the location is wonderful and the surroundings serene. The Cafe is tasty and quite reasonably priced. Our casita room was spacious, beautiful, very clean and luxuriously comfortable.
There is not a thing to not like!
gas kiva fireplace in room larger room w/ sitting area sitting areas outside restaurant on site
bathroom - nothing special breakfast not served until 7 am
Away from the hustle and bustle of Santa Fe yet close enough to enjoy the city. Quiet courtyard and grounds excellent for an evening cocktail and walk. Beautiful surroundings!
The food in the restaurant was wonderful; the evening staff was too. The morning staff...not so much. Our AC didn't seem to work as well as we thought it should but it was cool enough to open the patio door at nite and be comfortable.
Location great, area beautiful, inn very nice and convenient to G. O'Keefe home, good restaurant with good service (and recipes available for dishes); nice small suite room
One staff member at front desk needed a bit more training (or to be more comfortable with computer)
Tasteful decor, wonderful bed and linens, restaurant on site, flat screen TV, location close to exquisite sites from Ghost Ranch to Plaza Blanca.
Internet was weak enough to be non functional.
My room was large and air conditioned, and offered a beautiful view of trees, hills, sky, and colorful long-horned cows with their calves.
It seemed not to be their policy to make up the room every day. Once I figured that out, no problem.
unique property, good restaurant except for the hair in my salad. quiet and clean
front desk had some problems with our reservation.
setting was great, loved the decor, very comfortable
TV didn't work.
Nice escape from hustle and bustle
Loved the back patio in the evening. beds were comfortable. plenty of room to get around. Room was clean and neat. Food in the restaurant was very good and a very pleasant surroundings for dinning.
Needs a dresser or luggage stands. Had to keep luggage on the floor and dress out of it. no cream or sugar for the coffee in the room. Poor commutation with management with the 2 nite stay in the same room but all worked out without any problem.
We had one of the larger rooms on the back which had a great view. The cafe was pleasant. Excellent base for seeing that part of northern NM. Staff were wonderful...we felt very well cared for.
Rooms on the road could be noisy. It is rather expensive. If you are not going toward Ghost Ranch and wasn't to spend less you might be better off staying at Ojo Caliente, Taos, or Espanola. Wifi and cell phone are almost non existent in this part of NM.
incredibly beautiful space. we had a gorgeous room with a screened in back porch overlooking a pasture. quiet and evocative.
The design of the room
Carpet was dirty, hair in the tub, didn't change the sheets, generally not clean
Location was wonderful. Café/restaurant had terrific menu and great food for breakfast lunch and dinner. Coffee/cake on the patio was great. Gift shop had wonderful range of local art and craft. Staff were engaging and passionate about their property, heritage and surroundings.
Location was great for exploring the Abiquiu, Ghost Ranch region and the atmosphere of the hotel (decor, etc) was great.
Loved the ambiance. The place was so charming with the lovely little courtyard and fountain. The room was spacious and the beds were extremely comfortable. The Cafe had wonderful food. We ate 2 dinners and a breakfast there.(The fajitas were delicious!)
We opted for just bed and general cleanup instead of a strip down. The bed was barely touched, the floor was not vacuumed and the toilet paper was not replenished. We had to go to the front desk to get our own. There are also no dressers in the rooms, just a table. Living out of a suitcase is unpleasant and tiresome. I mentioned this to the front desk.
The one thing I would like to have is an ice machine since most of the rooms do not have refrigerators.
Our visit provided a relaxed couple of days, the area is inspiring, the friendliness of staff, etc;. Would go again for sure.
Cannot think of a thing I would say "I did not like". It provided what I was looking for....
Electric kiva, food, nice atmosphere. The views were great. Close to Ghost ranch.
COLD floors, Cold bathroom...needs heater in there.
The unique setting. The casita' s amenities including the delicious welcoming biscuits and personal note. The outdoor patio area and rocking chair. Spacious room and well appointed.
Dust bunnies and a few. Dead bugs.
it was quiet. the fireplace was great. the red tiles in the bathroom were so pretty
