It was conveniently located near Union Square and relatively clean
I got the room near the elevator. It was very noisy. Plus the view from the room was awful
Large comfortable room and the bed was fabulous! The location perfect if you wanted to be downtown, which we did. We walked everywhere and enjoyed the separate space in our suite for relaxing before dinner. The on site resturant and bar were great for the late night snack.
The shower head, be we understood the drought conditions in California. Not enough pressure to get the shampoo out of my hair. Although the shower stall was roomy with the soap, shampoo and condition so convenient, there was the beginning of mold on the walls, an easy fix!
The closeness to the Moscone Center was very convenient.
The downtown area was less than clean which surprises me about San Francisco. There were numerous construction projects and the location of my room to the street made it very noisy at night.
Location, staffs were excellent.
AC was a little bit noisy. Shower was not hot enough.
Restaurant next door
Rooms were quite small
Great location and very quiet.
Parking was ridiculous we had to go to a garage and the suite was supposedly made for 4 however it was very compact with a see through bathroom door which isn't ideal for multiple guests.
Location and staff are excellent
A little noisy, but that's union square.
Location, bar/restaurant next door.
First night was a nightmare due to room overlooking nightclub across the road. The noise was beyond awful.
We liked their friendliness. The people are so nice. Also, the room was clean, near to Union Square and all the shops and public transport. We had a problem with the room and they were very polite with us and the problem was solved.
We didn't like that the breakfast is not included.
Older place like must in the area, felt it was expensive.
The biggest down side was the air-conditioning was very loud.
location staff space value for money
The room we had booked was not available so the staff booked us a similar room in a nearby hotel for one night. The substitue hotel was very nice and the room was HUGE. It was a nice upgrade and the Hotel Abri picked up the cost differnece between the 2 hotels. The staff was very professional and accomadating.
This location is OK--a little to close to the Tenderloin district of San Francisco. You just have to be careful if you are walking around the area after dark.
Have stayed several times. Friendly, accommodating staff. Excellent location and comfortable, spacious rooms. Definitely has that boutique hotel feel, with some character.
Attentive Desk Staff. Very responsive to my problems with the AC in our room. We needed extra pillows for the suite's fold out bed, again staff responded quickly. Modern and updated hotel, but not too fussy, and self-aware. All staff very helpful and friendly.
Our AC needed adjusting in our room. We noticed a sticky carpet area right in the middle of the parlor in our suite. The sliding doors to the bathroom are glass paneled and so the light was an issue when trying not to disturb my sleeping husband.
This hotel is a hidden jewel. I booked it online for a weekend trip. It is beautifully decorated (contemporary) and was very clean. Surrounded by great restaurants and shopping. I will definitely book again.
Great location Nice rooms
location staff suite sleeps a couple + one other person price
dark rooms chemical smell in rooms
AC in the room was noisy, and difficult to regulate. Room was incredibly small.
In the heart of the shopping precinct, close to Powell Station. Fantastic location! Very friendly helpful staff. Clean comfy room, good size & lovely updated bathroom. The advantage of smaller hotels is it's quick to get in and out of, unlike the high rise hotels with so many lifts, and corridors to go down to find your room. Only tip is on a weekend stay don't stay in a room facing main street, it was a bit noisy from pub across the road. In saying this the staff did tell us that, I insisted I wanted a view. Would stay at the Hotel Abri again.
Fantastic location in SF.
The room always smelt pungent as if there was a sewage pipe leaking outside by the air-conditioner.
Location is outstanding and hotel has a hip vibe. The staff was warm and welcoming. They allowed us to check in early. Our room (403) was spacious, quiet, had a very comfortable bed with extra pillows. (The mini-fridge is hidden in the desk). This hotel is a great value in SF!
The hotel and the room are old. there was unplesent smell in the room.
