Loved the large rooms we had & the cleanliness of the rooms & the facility. Staff were friendly & very professional.
Could hear a bit of noise from street in the middle of night.
We stayed for Valentines day and it was a great experience. Its in a great location right next to union square and right around the corner is the Trolley station where you can get on. Our room was in a great location and very quiet as it was facing the courtyard.
The day we left we saw a bug in our bathroom, not sure if it was a bed bug or some sort of other bug. I looked it up to see if it was a bed bug and it didn't seem like it was. Hopefully they have people taking care of that.
Location is great if you want easy access to the city. I also liked the size of the hotel - it isn't a massive place with 600 rooms.
The room was small with no view. For same money I'd rather stay at another boutique hotel.
- refrigerator in the room - good location in city
- Shower hardly mounted to the wall - you cannot regulate what to wash - WiFi works quite badly, some rooms do not have WiFi signal at all - They have a program to refund you 5$ if you refuse room service for a day - it does not work
Love being in the heart of downtown with easy access to everything and plenty of restaurants and shopping
The free wifi is downright slow (<2Mb/s), and there are no wired connections in the room. I expected more when I heard this place wanted to be "techie friendly" ...
Perfectly placed in the heart of downtown, next to BART station and cable car, free wifi (but don't expect fast connection)
Air conditioner was noisy and room was quite small
location size off room and very very friendly staff
entry smallest room kinda small but well worth the upgrade to next level room
even though I do not smoke, the room smells so they apply punishment. both without needing to show proof.
Location was good. Staff were very friendly. We liked the restaurant attached to the hotel... Pucini's.
The room was cold, heat wasn't working. The free Wi-Fi was a joke....awful. Price for the room was not consistent with the quality. We're now paying the same price at the Marriott Waikiki with an ocean view and three times the room!
My room was very nice I had a good sized table to do my work at. Hotel staff was wonderful and very accomadating. shower was great, large bathroom bed was comfortable.
that I could not stay longer.
We missed breakfast beacuse we are used to that from Europe. The elevator didnt work all the time
An excellent location, great rooms, had no trouble with accessing the wifi at a good speed. Asked for a quiet room and got just that. All in all happy with our stay and would again.
Room was great although a little small! Just enough room for suitcases to lay on floor on opened. BUT, would stay again.
The hotel seems to be renewed just recently, but with a great mordern taste and consideration for its costomers. The rooms are super comfy for its price. The staff are simply the best I've ever met in my trip, very friendly and helpful. Last but not least, the location cannot be more convenient for shoppers. My friends liked San Francisco, but were unwilling to leave this hotel.
excellent location and staffs are helpful that our needs are well taken care off.
Small room for the price that we are paying.
It was a very small room, definitely not worth $159 for the night. The window opened to view a wall. The elevators were very slow.
the location is really good close to everything
i didnt like the staff very cold girls...all they care about is your credit card. i didnt like the minibar empty and the two bottles of water in the room that you have to pay
Enjoyed our stay
Too noisy at night if the room is facing the street as it has one of a top night clubs bang across the hotel.
extra costs for breakfast
Room too small, restaurant smell and old furniture
Staff was friendly
window air conditioner ?? Hotel really outdated and old shower VERY small - the hotel smelled musty - not worth $399 per night
PHENOMENAL bed! So comfortable! Short walk to SoMa, Moscone, Union Square, intensely awesome shopping. Lovely, comfortable elegant lobby - the vibe here is urban elegance which is executed by furnishings in high end materials having a real emphasis on comfort. The staff is helpful and professional. I will definitely consider the Abri a great option on return trips.
WiFi nothing short of terrible. There was an option to pay for a higher level of WiFi which I didn't try (so it might be a small expense that gets you working). The rooms are very small so navigating past luggage - especially if you're travelling with someone else - might be a challenge.
Great location for shopping. For tourists though, I think Fishermans wharf is better. Free wifi. Room is nicely decorated.
Aircon was noisy. Staff weren't very helpful. Room was very small. They weren't very transparent about the parking situation. 'May be fees applicable' isn't really representative of the $50 parking fee per day. Same for the airport shuttle, I felt they weren't upfront about the cost.
Street noise went straight through the windows. It was very noisy during the night hours.
It was conveniently located near Union Square and relatively clean
I got the room near the elevator. It was very noisy. Plus the view from the room was awful
