Score from 515 reviews Excellent
friendlu staff, large rooms, good breakfast
close to the road, no ocean view
No gym on premises.... Poor security at sister resort when I went to use the "gym/fitness center". That facility was outdated with rugs in poor condition. Air quality in "gym" was awful- diesel smell. Small, stuffy little room. No weights or machines.
Location to all local attractions was good.
It works, it is very conveniently located, and there is full time beverage and some sort of food available to guests at no cost. Quiet sleep.
Friendly staff. Early breakfast! Snacks and drinks available most always. Daily special events. Excellent location next to town and national park.
Location Breakfast Evening cheese and crackers Soup
The Park entrance is near. There is a great steak house next door. Breakfast was included. The room was large and comfortable.
It was an almost perfect stay. Great bed plush pillows, good amenities like ironing board, safe, dining table for 2 in the room and big toilet. The afternoon hot apple cider and tea biscuits and soup was a nice touch. Location is fantastic! Great value for money!
The breakfast was a let down. There was no scrambled egg or ommelet. Only hard boiled eggs that are really tasteless. Didnt feel fresh at all. The cereals selection was good but there was no waffle maker. Only premade waffles that taste and felt like cardboard! If the breakfast had been better, this could hv been the perfect place to stay.
Staff was wonderful and friendly and the hotel is equidistant to Acadia and Bar Harbor (less than a mile). The hot apple cider they offer for free was a nice touch.
Clean, modern hotel. Large rooms. Lift.
Way overpriced compared to other similar hotels we stayed at. Breakfast choice limited as toaster was not working.
Helpful front desk staff. Easy parking.
Fairly basic accommodation. Poor breakfast options. Not centrally located in Bar Harbor.
Friendly helpful staff. Clean comfortable room. Lots of parking. Nice outdoor heated pool/pool area.
By far the poorest breakfast we experienced during our two weeks touring round New England.
Located a mile from Acadia Park and Bar Harbor. The room was warm and comfortable and clean. The hot water was quick and the bathroom was neat and clean and warm. The exterior is very well kept up and the Inn is located close to the road.
Dead bolt on door to room wasn't working properly and we reported it and they said they'd take care of it.
The Acadia Inn was a very pleasant place to stay. It is clean, cheerful, and the breakfasts are very good. I would stay here again.
It was a little far from downtown Bar Harbor, but not so far as to interfere with our activities.
1. easy access 2. pleasant, helpful staff 3. nice toiletries
1. decor needed updating- felt like we were in a nursing home 2. internet not reliable 3. coffee not very good 4. beds rather hard
The hotel room was spacious and comfortable although the bathroom was starting to look a little dated. The staff were friendly and helpful. The shuttle bus was a good idea for those who could not walk into town.
Breakfast was plentiful but didnt offer many fresh, healthy alternatives.
Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great.
I wish there was King bed and softer bed.
On this our 4th visit to Bar Harbor we found Acadia Inn to b a good option for the price. Of course we were really on in the Inn for breakfast and sleep. Breakfast was fine the usual free breakfast, staff good and helpful. Very quiet, located near downtown and plenty of restaurants. I do recommend Jack Russels just up the road. Great for filets!overall I give this hotel an 8, Bar Harbor a 10!
The Acadia Inn was excellent. We would go there again, and recommend it to others.
Great breakfast Good location
Municipally run free shuttle (in season) to town. The staff were great - helpful, informative and very friendly Big, comfortable room Well maintained Complimentary afternoon tea
Breakfast was a bit basic - not of same standard as rest of hotel
It has great proximity to Acadia as well as Bar Harbor's Main street with restaurants and shops.
Crowded time of year, only one restaurant that will deliver to the hotel.
Nice spacious room
Typical american breakfast, we don't prefer all the sweet stuff like fruit yoghurt, muffins, granola. But if you like that, then the breakfast for you would be great, many things to choose from
very clean, nice people. great location.
