Ace Hotel

Sam hotel jest trochę projektem artystycznym. Ma ciekawy wystrój, obsługa jest świetna, imprezy w hotelowym barze też. Z hotelu jest wszędzie blisko - metro przy 28 przecznicy zawiezie nas do największych muzeów (uptown) oraz na zakupy (Soho i Chelsea). Dodatkowe punkty za genialne szlafroki (można je kupić za 115 dolarów).

Lokalizacja jest naraz wadą i zaletą. Z hotelu jest wszędzie blisko, ale bywa też w nim głośno. Okno mojego pokoju wychodziło z kolei na podwórze. Nie warto go było otwierać - huk rur klimatyzacyjnych był nie do zniesienia. Nie działa też jeszcze hotelowa restauracja - jedzenie trzeba zamawiać do pokoju. Jest dobre, ale dosyć drogie.

Great desing and atmosphere altough for the price, it looks more to me like a trendy/chic youth hostel than a real 4* hotel. But, comfy rooms, easy-going staff and great location.

A good location; good food; helpful staff; comfortable bed; clean attractive bathroom with shower and nice thick towels.

Our key cards didn't work for first day and a half; room too warm even with thermostat off, and beds had only blanket and comforter, no lighter sheet. Expensive for the spartan "budget" room; food pricey.

Upon arrival, the staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating. I throughly enjoyed my stay at the "ACE".

Yes, I was interested in booking a reservation for the Christmas holiday 2009, unfortunately, I was told that I could not request my same room "214" as the room provided during my past weekend stay.

Great staff

very small, poorly designed rooms. 2 of the 5 nights we stayed at the hotel the heat in our room went up to 90 degrees.

Location, quality of fixtures/fittings all excellent. The staff were very efficient and on the whole very pleasant, making for a very enjoyable stay.

Please review the cost of foods/beverages and refreshments available. In a city with endless choice of food and budget I felt what was on offer was limited and overpriced.

the lobby is great in the morning, early afternoon with atmosphere and energy. Breakfast to buy is excellent. The coffee shop next door excellent. Staff is nice and helpful. Young and trendy atmosphere in general.

Too loud and noisy music in the evening in the lobby especially from thursday to sunday. Do not play so noisy and loud music in the evenings. Would be nice with fitness center. Dark inside hotel in general with limited views from rooms.

We loved the location of the hotel. It was so easy to get around to all the sites and just a quick cab ride to and from the airport. The hotel was extremely trendy and the lobby bar was always very busy - great but I happened to be traveling with my daughter.

Not that this was really a bad thing but there was a big musicfest going on in the "basement" for 2 nights so the hotel, lobby, bar/restaurant was full with band members, concert attendees, reporters, etc. and it was a bit loud. I also couldn't believe how small the room was! We stayed in the bunkbed room and there was the bed and a stool to sit on - good thing you don't spend too much time in your room while in NYC!
