I had a feeling we were right next to the 101 but you would never know as the room was very quiet. Breakfast each morning was tops with choices for every diet. The views across the water were serene. I will be back
Customer service was amazing. All shifts
The staff went out of their to make us feel welcome. Specials efforts from Wendy and Jordan. Enjoyed the wine and cheese in the evening and wonderful breakfast.
This hotel is an absolute gem! Great location, beautiful rooms, awesome and friendly staff - though put into every detail. Highly recommend!!
I had a great experience except dissapointed with the breakfast since I had to leave for work by 710am and there weren't any fresh fruit, eggs or bacon/sausage ready at all where time becore ive gone jn by 63m45am and everythibg was ready...
Location - just off the freeway north of SF - convenient to Muir Woods, Larkspur Ferry to city, Tiburon/Angel Island, Sausalito, Sonoma/Napa Valley. Helpful staff. Lovely breakfast with a nice view. Great experience at the Acqua!
Two restaurants within walking distance but otherwise, a car was needed.
The management was really nice and would do just about anything to get you the best room possible. Really, great customer service, thanks Wendy! Complementary wine, cheese, crackers, and grapes every evening. Complementary hot breakfast in the morning including eggs, bacon, sausage, muffins, oatmeal, waffles (you cook them yourself with batter), toast, OJ, coffee, and I'm sure I'm forgetting many other things Complementary bikes. We had a blast riding down to Sausalito. Room was amazing with a large tub, shower, king size bed, and patio. Really great view of the water, especially great looking for sunset so get there early! Didn't try the Wifi so I can't comment on that
Relaxing in sun watching sunset over the from room & balcony. Outstanding cheese & wine every evening in comfortable sitting area. Exceptional reception staff who care about guests . Convenient for Golden Gate Bridge & San Francisco Bay
We had some issues with the room but the staff was very helpful. The manager even called me to follow up afterward and even insisted on refunding our stay!
The front staff were excellent, very pleasant ,welcoming and helpful
Nice location with a pretty view and a few restuarants near by, you must have a car
a little close to the highway, so you hear the cars in the hallwall, but surprisingly not while you sleep.
warmth of the staff for the most part.
When I checked in one of the receptionists was a bit curt, just short of rude. I spoke about this to the manager.
A very friendly, modern hotel. Excellent staff. We'll be back.
Great location for easy access to San Francisco for an early morning doctor's appointment at UCSF. Despite being next to the 101 freeway it was surprisingly quiet. We had a corner room with view of water. Two good restaurants in walking distance (Piatti, where we went for dinner; also Robata Grill which I hear is also good) Complimentary breakfast was substantial, lots of variety and the food was cooked fresh.
Wendy, alone will bring me back the many times I will be doing business in the area! The hotel? All you would want in terms of comfort and cleanliness
A couple of your staff members just a bit lazy when helping with luggage Didn't go out of their way to help.
We liked sitting on our balcony overlooking the bay which was quite scenic. Walking around the pathway from the hotel and around the area was delightful. The breakfast offered a wide variety of food. I recommend the oatmeal. We sat in the lobby across from the fireplace and ate the cheese, wine and fruit. The hotel is located right off the 101 which made it very easy to get around to the various towns in the area. Surprisingly, the noise from the cars on the 101 didn't affect us at all. Only when we were outside did we hear any noise. The ac/heating unit was very easy to manipulate.
I'm not pleased that this hotel accommodates pets.
Fireplace, extra touches including evening wine and cheese and tips and cotton balls in the room.
View, unless went out onto balcony even though the water was right there. It's all in the room configuration. Hot breakfast was a little tasteless.
I liked the comfortable bed, fireplace, bathroom with dispensers for shampoo, soap, etc... Good products. Ver nice breakfast offered in open, sunny area.
Was given a later checkout which I appreciated yet had to listen to construction on roof above for hours. This will be short term I'm sure.
the bath, shower, bed, food, lattes, wine, views, fireplace, conference venue, staff, access, pet friendly, location to restaurants, spacious room
no steamed greens available for breakfast
I LOVE the space esp. the view of the bay. The hotel is beautifully decorated. The staff are ALWAYS friendly and very helpful.
They are SO friendly. The rooms are spacious and very clean.
No bar or restaurant.
The breakfast was a nice surprise - sumptuous and delicious. The room was bright and cheerful, extremely clean and well cared for. It was a comfortable stay at a pleasant hotel.
outlook over the water Spacious comfortable room Access to walking paths along river & SF Bay. Excellent service, smiling helpful staff Wine & cheese each evening Very good breakfast with real fruit Espresso machine in breakfast area, all day free coffee & tea in lobby, freshly baked cookies each evening Convenient parking in front of our room
During our road trip we've stayed some nights in the Acqua Hotel which was a very good experience. Front desk (Wendy) was very helpful and made us feel very welcome. The hotel serves complimentary wines and cheese in the evening and make sure to tasting the fresh baked peanut cookies. Espresso coffee during breakfast tastes good. Better staying here in a calm atmosphere with mountain views than in an overpriced hotel downtown. No parking costs and SFO is just around the corner! Highly recommended!
The staff was very attentive and pleasant. Nice smell, and bed was very comfortable.
Being next to a busy freeway, the traffic was loud. The hotel was difficult to get to from the freeway as well, the road loops around quite a bit coming northbound. Mostly, I just wasn't aware it was right next to the freeway.
