Construction of lobby and many rooms during my stay resulted in this being a poor choice for the price. I felt like I was in a cheap hotel.
venue is a bit dated for being newly remodeded great location
bit expensive for what you get
Wifi didn't work. Reconstruction ongoing - poor breakfast facilities
Staff very helpful and friendly
Breakfast and location
The sink didn't work right. The water stuck for a long while and then it took an hour before it went through.
The location is close to Union square and mant restaurants
The reception and breakfastroom was a buildingsite in june 2014
Location. Although a little out of the heart of Union Square, still close enough to walk to most things.
Tired, older hotel. Getting a facelift, but not there yet. Furnishings are old.
Location of the hotel was awesome
The noise of the renovation which is to be expected. The cleaning lady knocking on the door early in the morning not once but twice. But the manager at the front did comp us our parking bill.
DOES NOT WORTH THE PRICE AT ALL
Good location take a minute to union square and pretty good staff.
Still renovate and small room, no fridge
Bathroom is clean.
The room was stuffy even I opened the window.
Staff was very friendly and gave prompt service.
This hotel needs a lot of work!it's downright dingy.also needs maintenance on the plumming. Paint your breakfast room and hang some pictures.the breakfast needs more variety, you can only eat so many waffles.
5 minutes walk to the Union Square
the lobby renovation during the high peak season might not be a very good idea for guests
Great location, great price, staff were very friendly.
The breakfast is poor and the breakfast room is tiny. If staying in a room near the road, the rooms are not sound proof at all.
Good location Eggo waffles for breakfast Working TV
Stared at a brick wall for my view. The hotel is under construction. When you have the window open and the bathroom for open at the same time there is an unusual pounding sound from the fan. The comforter was so disgusting and raggity.
The "breakfast" was a joke. Soggy cold eggo waffles and plain white toast were the only options. Terrible! The "double beds" were 2 small children's twin beds, not nearly large enough for any adult over 5 ft tall. We will not be revisiting this hotel in the future
The room was clean, the beds weren't all that uncomfortable they were better than I expecected, room service was good, staff was very nice. The location was good.
The vallet was terrible. We did get our first night refunded because it took an hour to get our car, they also couldn't find our car the first night they misplaced the ticket. We were unable to use the wifi, it wasn't good enough. The toilet paper was far from the toilet, had to move it because I couldn't reach. They were remodeling so the lobby was crowded
Not being the most expensive. Although for the same price there are better options
During my stay the fire alarm woke me up two times in a row. They say it was some drunk guy messing with the fire equipment. Nevertheless its obvious they have security issues. Scare me to death. They didn't charge me one of the nights in account to what happened. During my stay the hotel was being improved. It was very dirty. Breakfast was poor and I've got waffles with mold!
Staff was friendly.
No A/C in the rooms, took 45 minutes to get our car from valet, no screens on the windows.
The location was central but in a rough area of town
Very expensive for what it is an extremely run down and shabby hotel with ongoing construction. dark dingy rooms that are worse than any hostel I have stayed in
Not much. The location was okay and the room was clean.
Very run down premises and the room looked nothing like the photos on the website. Very small and basic. A very budget option. Based on stays at other hotels in sf only a little more money gets a significantly better standard of accommodation.
Staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms clean.
Breakfast was poor and the room was very crowded due to construction on the main floor.
Close to lots of stuff. The guy checking me in was kind, and apologetic for the mess in the lobby (they're remodeling?).
The room was TINY! They served frozen waffles for breakfast with only knives to eat with (seriously, no forks or spoons?), from one of their guest rooms...there were probably 15-20 people fighting over who got into the room for the watered down juice and waffles on paper plates. The shower was freezing cold and the handle was about to fall off, bed was horribly uncomfortable, and the comforter had holes all over it (cigarette burns, maybe?) Completely unimpressed. NOT AT ALL worth the money.
Room and bathroom were perfectly clean. Location is excellent.
Breakfast was very poor and some variety would add a lot to the staying, which overall was good.
