Staff was superb- made the stay! The went out of their way to get us a dinner reservation on short notice and get a shuttle to take us there and back. Friendly! Rooms were historic and clean.

The garbage truck parked outside the room for 45 min early in the morning. Woke me up. Will ask for a room away form the trash next time!

This is a very nice small , unique, centrally located hotel. Garage parking available around the corner, not too expensive compared to some cities. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are a little dated but very nice. Cute bar downstairs with friendly staff.

bathrooms were very small. Carpeting need replacing. As noted by another traveller, garbage trucks come early in the area and are a bit noisey. Be sure to put do not disturb sign on the handle as staff knock on doors early to clean rooms. overall an excellent hotel.

Close proximity to all local attractions, and I don't mind staying at historic hotel, it has character.

To access our room, we had to take a series of steps, it was a pain...they put us facing the street, which can be noisy at night...the valet Parker don't like to help with guest luggage, they need to be trained for valet and porter...

We arrived in Baltimore at Noon on a weekday and booked online while sitting in the car just down the block. I then called the Inn to get advice on parking and check-in time. Though check-in time was normally 3pm, they informed me that they had a room ready and that they could accommodate us immediately. Valet parking was offered - and though not included in the room rate, was very convenient and not too expensive. You can't beat booking a room on your phone and then walking into it 10 minutes later. Every single member of the staff we encountered was super-friendly and very accommodating. Though we did not need anything special during our stay, it truly seemed like the sort of place where they would go out of their way - and be genuinely happy to do so. The charm of the Inn - which includes a variety of very differently-appointed rooms - was only surpassed by the location. If you intend to hang out in the Fell's Point area, I can't imagine a better place to stay. We found it to be a comfortable walking distance to all of the Inner Harbor attractions as well. We did not stay over a weekend night, so I really cannot attest to how the noise from nearby bars might affect the Inn when things (like live music) are going later on those nights, but we definitely enjoyed the proximity enough that I would put up with some of that even if it did filter into the rooms. It was not inexpensive, but fairly priced. Will definitely stay there again on future trips.

Our room and the hotel in general appears "tired". Refreshing and up dating would be recommended.

    Great location

Have stayed here before and was pleased. Booked approx. 8 weeks ago was given a king size bed (it's indicated on my receipt). My husband and I are large people and we were given a 3/4 bed - not even a queen. Could not check in until 6:00 p.m., towels were not delivered until around 10:00 p.m. Will not stay with you again despite the convenience.

Great location for sight seeing. Great Shuttle service. Fun neighborohood.

The trim color and bathroom color in my room. Coral. Really, isn't this a historic hotel? Billing my credit card before I checked out.

Rustic and charming, with a great staff and fantastic location. The entire place creates an atmosphere, and all the staff is attentive.

Location is ideal but not for a good night's sleep, so if you're a light sleeper or traveling with young children the bars downtown and their fabulous live music will keep you awake.

Great, friendly staff and the location was right near the Harbor.

My room faced the street, and the bars were located directly across the street. The noise level was extreme, and one night--I hardly slept due to loud, pounding music and drunk people. If you go, be sure to ask for a room that does not directly border the street!

Lovely harbor location, kind attentive staff

Requested harbor view room was directly over a neighborhood bar with pounding bass music until 2 am. Staff did change our room, fortunately one was available

The second day, at 4pm the room was not made up. It was so late we asked only for clean towels. The following day, at 11am, off for a full site seeing day, we told the front desk our room wasn't made up the day prior and we would want it done that day. At 4:20 pm we returned to the hotel and the room wasn't made up again! This hotel has serious staffing issues with house keeping and the front desk. The room door lock didn't work and the TV was on its way out, the color pixels changing.

Staff went out of their way to try and resolve the noise issue with the new club next door.

There is a new club next door which seriously needs to install some sound proofing. We just happened to be in the room closest to it.

The location! So easy to hang out in the area, and it's right in the middle of everything.

Felt like the price was a bit high for a room with no fridge or microwave. Also the noise from surrounding rooms was annoying

Beautiful historic building in a great location.

Heat didn't work in our room and toilet ran constantly.
