Dirty towels from the previous occupant were left hanging on the back of the bathroom door. A simple and easy to make mistake. Management responded quickly and took them. The second night the ceiling in the bathroom started leaking water from the bathroom upstairs. Again, management responded quickly. They sent maintenance and we even left them a short list to fix the hinge on the bathroom door so that we could close it, and to oil a very squeaky armoire door, which they did. This is not an oceanfront property, it sits behind a pizza restaurant with very smelly garbage. We were lucky to be on the 3rd floor and on the back side of the hotel so that we couldn't smell it much. I just think that they need better quality control. Summer is a busy season, I get that, but it's also the best chance they have to make an impression.
The important things were that they were responsive to any issues that we had, the room was comfortable and close to the boardwalk, beach, shopping, and restaurants.They have a nice indoor pool and the beds were comfortable, and they let us use the parking garage for another 2 hours after checkout so all in all we were happy with our stay. The wifi worked ok, better than some hotels we've stayed in before. We would stay there again.
