Adventurer Hostel  

Have realistic expectations and everything will be fine. The 20-bed dorm was on-par with European standard, with sane friendly guests. People did not hesitate leaving their cell phones and computers charging in the room. I also loved the super-friendly shuttle service. This is not a place to enjoy luxury, but a great clean and very inexpensive place to stay near lax airport.

The lack of communication between staff. My let always,stopped working. Parking was terrible. Staff wasn't rude. But they weren't too friendly neither. They never asked could they help u unless u walk up 2 the counter. They would have u wait there while they finish their business. This stay was not the best. It wasn't the worse. But I guess u get what u pay for

Everyone was very friendly from the front desk to house keeping.

Parking had someone back in to my motorcycle trailer, need more parking.

mid night staff was rude..i called the hotel so i can get picked up from the green line train station and waited for 2 hours in the cold at night and noone came so i had to walk... i was in the dorms and its really cold in there i was sleeping with two blankets and still cold... 1 to 10 i live this hotel a 2

its far from the city.can the hotel offer some info of city tranfic?or the shuttel take us to the city center?

It was the worst place I have ever experienced. The 2 girls at the reception where incredibly unfriendly, the beds, sheets, floors and bathroom not clean at all and I slept on my jacket (not on the pillow) and in my street clothes. Left around 3 a.m. because I felt so disgusted and spelt in my car. Pay $10 more and sleep at the Venice Beach Cotel wich is close and much better.

The personell was not friendly / arrogant, the hostel was not save. I had to be aware of my personal belongings all the time.

Staff were very rude! and did not help us in any way!

The structure of the room is nice, like an independent one bedroom

WiFi signal is desperately weak...I saw guests sitting in the open air near the swimming pool so that getting closer to the hall to use their laptop there...I can't even use twitter or weChat on my phone...

I like the warm and friendly atmosphere there; and the managers are very patient and friendly. I really like the shuttle service to the Manhattan beach and the free dinner( the French frice is super good).

I hope the stuff in the front desk can be as friendly as the managers.

When we come back late, there is not a parking、Therefore we must leave a key with the front・ There were an ant and a spider in the restroom

The shuttle service from and to the airport and from and to the metro station. The free coffee and muffin at the breakfast.

The location is just horrifying. We learnt that İnglewood was a gangs area during our stay. İt is not safe to walk around the area. Even waiting for the shuttle bus at the metro station was scary. The hostel is too far away to the downtown therefore if you want to stay out at night you should take a taxi after an hour which will cost around 60 USD. İt also takes about an hour to go to the downtown and the main sightseeings of Los Angeles such as Hollywood Blv. There are many things which are free at the hostel but you are somehow obliged to give tips for having them. There was no champagne party as it was said on the website, just a free glass of champagne at the bar. They say there is a free breakfast but the free breakfast is a muffin and a cup of coffee which is nice of course, but if you want to have a real breakfast plate you have to pay around 8.95 USD extra so there is kind of hidden costs while giving free services. You have to pay each time to use the lockers so each opening and closing the locker costs something. You cannot rent the lockers daily. İf you forgot something at your locker and want to open it, you pay again.

Great spot, had an easy stay with good food, cheap beers and friendly staff. 24 hr free airport shuttle is brilliant!

Perfect for solo travelers who want to make friends. Also the price is exellent consiedring all what they offer

It was cheap, and provided a bed for one night, which was what I needed.

The location was not great. Although Inglewood has shaped up in the last few years, I still did not think it was a safe neighbourhood. One of the bartenders seemed to have no training or experience as a barrender. One staff member seems to suffer from "short man syndrome". The same staff member is also difficult to understand, as his English is broken. A shower drain did not work, resulting in a small pool in the shower.

Well all the staff seem to be so pleasant and enjoy their jobs and the resturants and close by their free shuttle to the airport and to the metro trains

Upper level roadside room was noisy

I can't expect more from a hostel,and it has something that you haven't expected. Free coffee and popcorn. Great bar with free champagne and cake, and very nice bartender. Hoping to come back soon.

I liked the price and location

bathroom was deplorable. cracks in the floor and the bath tub water did not run out. You could hear noise from the bath room out side. One of the beds was like sitting on a box. I could not sleep at night for the noise down stairs in the court yard. Continental breakfast of blueberry muffins was a joke, they fall a part, and yuo have to ask for an iron which the board was not a regular size. No parking spaces available at night.

The room was really nice and also the price is cheap!

The breakfast is poor you can just eat a muffin and tea or coffee. You need a car to sightsee the city because the position is not good.

I stayed there for just 1 night, I need a place to sleep over and this Hostel had a very fair fee, worthy.
