the location

the hotel is run down the corridors remind me of a very old hospital, we stayed in room 2201 which was slightly better than the first room we got but the net curtains were dirty in the main the bathroom was clean but the toilet roll holder and towel holder are filthy also carpets need to be replaced.we have stayed a number of times and have recommended the hotel to people but although we love the location we wont be staying with you again. kind regards . The room was very comfortable, and the location fabulous. Having a kitchen was really great, both for snacks and being able to bring leftovers back. Their pillow menu was unique and great fun. Amenities were Aveda- that helped me pick this hotel.

We were given a room with one bed and told that the studio suites never have two. The booking describe both being available and I could not share a bed with my six foot three son! They said they would charge $50 more a night for a two bed room but then gave us an accessible two bed room without extra charge. Twice amenities were not left when our room was serviced and I had to call for them.

The location was excellent for what I needed to do and for transportation, the room was wonderfully spacious, and the front desk very kindly extended my check out by an hour.

One of the bathrooms looked a little raggedy around the edges, e.g., algae around the drain.

At check-in we mentioned we where in NYC for our anniversary and they upgraded us to a 2 bathroom, 1bedroom, living room suite at no extra charge. How often does that happen? We will stay here again.

great location , staff on front desk were excellent - noisy but hey thats new york.

while dealing with the a bell boy while checking out - he was under pressure when a blonde haired woman from the concierge desk spoke to him in an unacceptable manner in front of me - she showed no regard that he was a) busy and b) dealing with me. she seems like a nasty bit of work

Poor noise barrier as can hear traffic from room.

the location was incredible and the rooms were huge!!!

the furniture in the room, especially the couch was old and worn and the carpets looked old and stained....the kitchenette was old and dirty.

Staff And Facilities are excellent, perfect location for shopping, directly accross from Penn Station, macys Outside your door, 2nd time to stay there, would not consider anywhere else next year when returning to New York

The space in the hotel for New York was wonderful. From the time we arrived everything we asked for we received. The other family with us had 3 members and received 2 bathrooms, we had 1 bath. The refigerator, desk and living quarters was wonderful. The hotel kept our bags all day after we checked out so we were able to go to the us Open and still made our flight that night. I will always stay at this hotel when traveling to New York and would recommend it to anyone. I have never stayed anywhere that the staff was so friendly. Great job and thanks for making our experience in New York better.

perfect location for Garden event,,,could have been cleaner in bathroom

The Affinia Manhattan was in an amazing location, close to transportation, shopping, restaurants, tourist areas. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious for New York, and the beds & pillows were very comfortable. We would definitely return & recommend this hotel.

People may not like the noise, as it is in a very central location, but we loved everything about this hotel.

The location is central. The bed was large, the room (a studio suite) was fairly big and had a kitchen. The value was competitive and n general the hotel was good enough.

The bathroom was small, at least for our studio suite.

The staff were super friendly, especially Amanda who told us where to shop and eat and her suggestions were spot on!! The location is perfect, in the heart of the city with subways down the street. Would stay here again.
