Cova hotel is a very nice and clean hotel. The hotel is located in kind of a bad area but the hotel is very secure and it provides a drop of and pick up service to Fishermans Wharf and to Union Square. All the personel was very friendly and serviceminded so we could not have staid in at better place in San Francisco. |

Nice rooms, just renovated. Clean and good facilities. Free internet and free fitness. They have new fitness appliances. The neighbourhood!! It is sitiuated nearby a homeless shelter. So you can not walk the streets savely in the night. But the hotel has a free shuttle, they drop you at Fishermens Warf or Union square. |

The hotel was very tidy and the breakfast was good. The hotel is located in a dreadful area! As soon as you step outside the hotel you are faced with drug addicts, prostitutes, homeless and the mentally insane. They wander the streets day and night making noise at all hours which makes you feel very unsafe even during the day. I know this is not the hotel fault but it really makes the staying there very daunting. |

In average , the hotel is very nice and make me feel very comfortable . The room is clean and the staff is very helpful . Allthough the hotel is only 3 stars , but the service and the hygenie is nearly 4- 5 stars . Beside , the hotel had a free shuttle to Union Square which is quite convenience. If I go to SanFrancisco again , i will choose this hotel again . Really nice ! |

Walking distance to Union Square and Market Street. Staff were helpful and friendly. They had regular shuttle into Union Square and also Fishermans Wharf. Contential breakfast was included, loved the waffles. Although a nice hotel it was not in a very good area and it was not adviseable to be out past dark, in saying that we did not have any problems near the hotel and made sure we were careful. |

Like mentioned in many previous reviews, the neighborhood is somewhat "rough" But the hotel itself was very nice.,And the Breakfast room is a hidden gem On the minus side, there was a renovation going on(March 09) so a lot of noice from 10 o clock in the morning..No refigirator in the room, and nothing "de luxe" (apart from a flatscreen tv) like the stated while booking |

The hotel is being refurbished and at some point in the future they might end up having a decent hotel Well... the location is one of the worst I've ever been. Not far from the city centre (that's true) but nobody warn us that is in the middle of dodgyland, it was actually quite scary to walk to the hotel at night... About the lobby, I've seen better ones in Sarajevo during the war and the breakfast is far worst than any roadside motel. The staff was quite rude and most of them only speak chinese |

Room was clean, staff helpful in recommending restaurants Hotel was in middle of very noisy reservations which commenced at 7am each morning, it is not mentioned anywhere that the hotel is located on top of a parking garage and car alarms were going off constantly all night every night, hotel is also not in a safe part of town and shuttle that is advertised to Convention Centre (the only reason we stayed there) they do not use. |

Nice hotel. Fair price. Good bed, good wifi. The only bad thing about the hotel is the location, in the middle of the tenderloin. Not that big deal because it´s very near to the civic center. |

The hotel provided for good, clean and spacious rooms. The staff is pleasant and helpfull. The hotel is located in a sketchy part of town. Three blocks towards downtown would have made the difference. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to woman traveling alone and elderly people. The breakfast is very minimal and served with plastic cutlery. |
