Cova Hotel

Huoneiden sisustus miellyttava ja rauhalliset varit. Sangyt ja petivaatteet todella mukavat.

Vastaanottoaula remontissa. Jopa hotellin henkilokunta heti saavuttuamme kehoitti valttamaan Ellis Streetia (jolla hotelli sijaitsee) huumeidenkayttajien ja muiden laitapuolenkulkijoiden vuoksi. Olikin sangen kurja katu.

Nice, clean room. The outside view was bad though. Good breakfast and other facilities. Their computer did not have MS Word though :-) Overall value for money.

Location is not good. Looks intimidating even in the daytime. Rest assured, there is no real risk. Not recommended for families, single ladies nevertheless.

The Cova Hotel is misplaced. It is a beautiful hotel in the middle of a non-beautiful part of San Francisco. This part of the Tenderloin District was very noisy. Fire trucks passed by constantly. While the resident of the Tenderloin were very colorful, they are mostly harmless. There is a lot of panhandling and drug use in the neighborhood, so if you don't mind that sort of thing, it's a fine hotel.

waffles.. apparently, a Continental breakfast means waffles...every day.

I liked the standard on the rooms. It was clean at all times and contained all necessities. Perfect :)

The only two poor things that i as an international guest could set my finger upon was that there where little to choose between on your breakfast buffé, so I ended up eating breakfast outside nearly all my stay. The other thing is something you can't do so much about, and thats the location. There seemed to be a rather bad neighboorhood, but that did not get in the way of our stay.

Location of this hotel is good but you must consider Ellis Street as a dangerous area.... About the staff of this hotel only one person at the reception was wonderful... (thanks to her...!)

Forget this hotel is you have Children.... Ellis Street show you misery and much more.... From this situation this hotel provide good rates.... The hotel is safe but the rooms are noisily room.... and sometimes no free table for breakfast...!!! The staff is not professional in this hotel.... except this wonderful girl at the reception!!

That it met expectations and was really comfortable

It's so close to everything, but again the area at night is not too safe to wander around alone.

There wasn't any housekeeping after 4 p.m.

They had valet parking in a bad neighborhood - always a plus, even thought it's $25. Cabs were easy to come by, the location was accessible to all major areas of downtown SF and the bed was large and comfortable.

Some of the staff (I actually think he was part of the family that owned the hotel) was not very friendly when we checked in. Additionally, the maid knocked on our door in the morning and after we yelled that we were still inside, she continued to open the door.

It was perfectly located. The staff was very friendly. The room was nice and clean. The breakfast was good.

Flexibility and service

The room was comfortable and the staff was very helpful. The location is very good to visit downtown S. Francisco, they also offer a bus shuttle to the center.
