Very comfortable room, great mattress, comfy pillows, dark shades. the shuttle van to fishermans wharf and shopping district was greatly appreciated

Hotel rooms are lovely - modern, contemporary with everything you could wish for ie tea/coffee facilities, towels, toiletries etc. Continental breakfast was a bonus - plenty to choose and eat.

Unfortunately, we did not feel at all safe in the locality either during the day and certainly not at night. We had seen the reviews on the various websites but thought we could cope. However, it was very intimidating. When returning one evening there was a man wielding a baseball bat at a group of men. The cleanliness in the surrounding streets left something to be desired. It is such a pity as the hotel itself if lovely and the staff were very acccommodating. Good luck in the future.

To close to poorer area with to many black people hanging about at night

Cova hotel is a very nice and clean hotel. The hotel is located in kind of a bad area but the hotel is very secure and it provides a drop of and pick up service to Fishermans Wharf and to Union Square. All the personel was very friendly and serviceminded so we could not have staid in at better place in San Francisco.

close to downtown, cheap, nice rooms, but bad street full of junkies and other loosers

it was problem to reach city by walking and come back because of bad reputation of Ellis street

We were pleased to find a very clean and stylish hotel for a very reasonable price

The shuttle

The neighborhood!, Dangerous location. Would not go there again

room is spacious and clean. breakfast is exccelent, value is good.

location is the worst part. shuttle bus service is supposed to make up this part but sometimes it is not available .

Bathroom is nice.

Walking distance to Union Square and Market Street. Staff were helpful and friendly. They had regular shuttle into Union Square and also Fishermans Wharf. Contential breakfast was included, loved the waffles.

Although a nice hotel it was not in a very good area and it was not adviseable to be out past dark, in saying that we did not have any problems near the hotel and made sure we were careful.
