AKA Times Square    

Everything apart from the noise at night.

Our room was at the front of the building on the 3rd floor and we found it to be quite noisy.

Worst possible experience in Ny, run this place! I booked to stay seven days after the first night I left .... lousy treatment, the room had no curtains (it was clear to sleep), the whole bathroom got wet when showering, and the street noise is unbearable. And try to get help for the staff of the hotel ..... I've been six times in Ny, never imagined an experience so bad .....

Minor complaints; (no chair in bathroom at mirror!); (scaffolding around front of hotel interfered with street view); (kept window open for fresh air as hotel has no air conditioning)

Location. Big apartment. Washing and drying machines, dishwasher. The feel of your own apartment in the heart of the city. And the fact that there was no cleaning staff every single day in your room.

No Air Conditioning! This should be in capital letters in the hotel description. It was actually spring, some hot, some cold days. The AC was into warm for the whole hotel, and it could not be changed for specific units as the manager said. It remained into mid 80's inside our apartment during the week we were there. The windows could not be opened, and it was a 3rd floor back apartment. Very, very hot! The staff as a whole needs improvement. The manager is, at least, rude. I called to make a complain, she told me "no Sir, you listen to me". And I did. And 2 minutes later, she calls again to make complains, saying the the 300 years old building is to be blamed. I just could not believe my ears. The front desk needs polishing, and the cleaning staff, well, they never heard the training word. Do not know if I would stay there again, because it is so much easy when you have a washing machine when you travel with a baby, but AKA Times Square may not be the best place to go for the huge amount of money they ask. It is terribly overpriced, and without AC? Not even for free!

The staff, the location, the size & the apartment itself were all excellent

Lack of a mirror in the bedroom or elsewhere. There was only one mirror in the bathroom and when my Husband was in there I had no other mirror to use to get ready.

Location was excellent, right down the road from Times Square. Could spend a lot of time enjoying the sparkle. Lots of food joints nearby. Staff was friendly and very helpful.

There wasn't much not to like. Could have been a little more info about the facilities on sign in, all the info was in the paperwork, we just forgot to read it until we'll into our stay.

Had maid service every day, and wasnt expecting that. Lots of clean towels Lots of TVs lovely toiletries Reception staff very friendly Gym and business centre great Roomy Big Beds

I guess this was my 7th time at AKA, It always feels like home, the staff is extremely helpful and Lauren is the best !!

The attentive and kindness staff, the installations of the room and the location are some of the positive points. I bought some stuff throught internet and the staff delivered everything straight to my room which was very convenient for me. For a place so close to Times Square, I was surprised with the little noise from the outside.

I had a problem with the heater, but the staff promptly solved it.

The floor servicing staff are very user friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The apartment size is reasonable. The location is very suitable for visiting tourist. The business centre providing coffee/tea & apples is appreciated.

Can't say I don't like because it is NYC - just one/tiny bathroom for a two bedroom apartment is arguably running at a subsistent level ofnservice at the peak usage period, particularly in the morning. Twice weekly complimentary room cleaning service would definitely be more appealing to the renters and better for the property.

The location was superb, right in the hub of everything.. The apartment was spacious and well appointed and we were at the back of the building so we didnt get much street noise. We loved our stay in New York and AKA times Square added to our very positive experience...

2- bedroom Apparment was small, cold and not very funcuntual, no daylight from windows. Ventilaion system was poor - and in the morning food smelling (from other appartments...) in the room. Full charge (1000 dollar) for late check out, even if we had a disabled boy just from surgery. Will never stay with them again.

Very clean. Nice hard wood floors. Great staff.

The noisiest hotel I have ever slept in. It felt like I was sleeping on the pavement on 44th street.
