Surprise totale: la chambre est bien une chambre dans l’hôtel Ala Moana, mais le service est effectué par un prestataire de service LSI (et pas du tout par l’hôtel) et on ne dispose que d'un numéro de téléphone pour communiquer avec ce prestataire de service LSI. Résultats et désagréments: à l'arrivée pas de téléphone (voyage d'affaire...pas de service de réveil), rideaux cassés... à moi de prévenir LSI, l’hôtel ne veut pas intervenir, attente une journée avant intervention. Obligé de menacer de plainte. Piles à changer sur télécommande TV (fait par moi même!)...L'hotel n'avait même pas mon nom dans son listing et répondait à mes visiteurs que je n'étais pas dans l'hotel! Si la mention by LSI apparaît bien sur le site de booking.com, nulle part sur votre site n'est mentionné cet état de prestation sous traité par une autre compagnie. C'est à la limite de l’honnêteté! The beautiful ocean view from our room was truly spectacular. The bed in the room was extremely comfortable. The shopping mall was wonderful and had everything one could ask for in a mall shopping experience. The staff at LSI was very friendly and accomodating. I would definately book a stay with them again. The fact that the hotel was in a remodeling phase so the beautiful lobby area was not there. The hotel itself just needs a more upbeat feeling. More smiling and enthusiasm by the hotel staff.

I had stayed at the hotel portion of the Ala Moana just before check in and was pleased to see it was mostly the same (furniture, amenities). Nothing huge--one mug for coffee in the morning instead of 2, no water glasses.

I always stay here because of the hotel's accessibility to the shopping center and the downtown area, where I do business. I stay at the hotel about 3-4 times a year for work-related travel and the staff is always pleasant. I have stayed at this hotel several times a year for the last 6 years on business. For the first time in all those years, there was no iron and ironing board in the room. This created some anxiety on my part as I heard dress shirts that needed ironing on a daily basis. Also both the vanity and tub drains were slow-draining.

It was extremely convienent. The location was perfect because it was close to the mall, food and the water! I've stayed at many hotels and this by far was the worst hotel ever. When we arrived the bed was a double instead of the queen we chose when we first booked. Everything was booked so lsi said sorry there's nothing they can do. Next there was random nasty hair in the tub and a clump of hair in the drain as well as a loofa hanging from the shower curtain. The sheet and towels were stained and the floor was filthy. We bought our own sheets to use because it was so gross. There was no iron or safe either. Lsi said they cleaned our room when we stepped out and of course when we came back it wasn't clean because they cleaned the wrong room. I called booking.com 4 times and lsi and got no where. I was extremely frustrated and with never stay with lsi again. In the end I received one night refunded but the lack of customer service I received and horrible experience really upset me and what's one night refunded when I spent hours on the phone on my vacation trying to resolve this issue?

Location is excellent to go for trips. & Withe the mall right at you finger tips it was great. When you book to room they hold be close together,ours where not. The WIFI was not working well. & the bathroom & a few other it,es where coming apart.

Being located next to a large shopping complex was the best feature. It made access to restaurants and shops convenient and safe. The room was a disappointment. The carpet was stained and dirty enough that my feet and sox were brown. The bedskirt was dirty and needed to be laundered; as were the sofa and decorative pillows. These may be due to the private owner situation.

Plenty of underground parking. Room was clean and serviced every day. Unexpected 'resort' fee w/LSI, $20/night. Add on parking, and that makes extra 40/night, so room rate is not such a great deal. Surprised to find out this unit is private mgmt., So local staff cannot help if any issues w/room.

View No new toilet paper was left--and it was needed--until the cleaners were asked to bring it. No hairdryer. Flat pillows. Hot water faucet was loose. Caulking around toilet and floor sloppily done and loose. Dirty fabric on chairs. Dirty rug with melted spot in front of dresser. Freezer needed defrosting--full of ice. Refer not level or working until moved around. Two lamps did not work and the ones over the beds were very loose and would fall to the side. These were never fixed by the claning staff.. Only one coffee cup, no water glasses, no forks, one spoon.(this was a room with two beds, so one would assume that they were providing things for 2 or more people). The keys that need to be used in the elevators are a hassel!!! People have a great deal of trouble getting them inserted before the elevator will move. It became amusing to watch people . With four people in the elevator, usually all had to try to insert their key. Perhaps an arrow showing which way to insert the key would solve the problem. The restaurant (Plantation ) was only open for breakfast and only had a buffet. Not so condusive to travelers. As of now we will not be back and we have always stayed at the Ala Moana. How much would you pay for this room?????

The location proximity to the major shopping centre The room was in disrepair, chair broken, toilet damaged, TV remote has no battery cover, two "double beds" more like king singles, wardrobe door didn't move or open. Also no safe in the room which I found strange having travelled all around the world.

We liked the location,parking, and restaurant staff No hot water in the shower for two days The room wasn't made up for a day, so no dry towels, only 1 bar of soap, tv that worked sporadically. Temperamental light switch. We called the number for assistance and they left a message that we had a do not disturb sign on our door, but in fact we left the room by 9am to attend a wedding rehearsal at the park across the street,

Close to ala moana mall with good restaurants at more reasonably priced. Room price were good. No lounge . Restaurants were very expensive. Cleaning of rooms was poor. Had to use Kleenex as toilet tissue. Coffee pot and cups not wash or emptied. Had to ask for more coffee.

Had a Fed Ex package sent to myself at the hotel; because my name was not sent to the hotel in the timely manner, the hotel had FedEx take it back and I had to make the pickup myself first thing on Monday, intruding on an already very busy schedule. I was given one bar of soap. The little itty-bitty face kind. I had to leave a note by the 3rd day to beg for another bar. The television was not working properly; it would turn on repeatedly after turning it off and would always switch back to the hotel menu channel when watching a program. Very frustrating when you're trying to get some rest after a 14-hour work day. Left a message with the luxury suites number I was given and received no response. There are many things I like about this hotel; it is utilitarian in its value to a business person like myself who travels to Oahu at least once a quarter. But, as for the independently owned units ~ never again. I will Yelp out to anyone who's willing to learn. I cannot damn the other rooms, but room 1908 was among the most frustrating hotel stays I've ever had.

Location. 1. The customer service/front desk personnel seemed to cause me added stress than need be. They seemed to not have a clue. 2. Terrible to book through this company due to the fact "not guaranteed". My friends and I asked for 2 queens and walked into one king. Needless to say, I slept on a terribly uncomfortable twin pull out couch. Sucked! For that money we should have all had beds. 3. No iron, ironing board, etc because "it wasn't provided by the owner and the hotel could not assist us." 4. Tried to call the "24 hour help line" left message that I was at the desk with a problem. 5 days later, they STILL have NOT returned my call. I will never use this service again. Totally changed the mood of the trip starting on the first day. Not appreciated since I paid my entire bill prior to arriving. I would have appreciated some respect as well.

The room waas very nice and allowed us to have breakfast in room. Staff was friendly and helpful. Easy access to Ala Moana Shopping Center and easy public transportation to Waikiki area. The reservation process was almost a disaster. Our reservation was cancelled by LSI three days after making it. Emily did a terrific job correcting the situation.

The hotel is very conveniently located, and we enjoyed the view from the balcony. We learned that you cannot rely teethe individual room in this system to meet reasonable standards. Two light fixtures were unusable because of broken switches, there were several minor plumbing problems we had to cope with, the closet door had come off of it's track. We also had a hard time getting face towels, of all things.

The two-bed condo I got booked in was unexpectedly nice--I kept hearing that the rooms at the Ala Moana had just been renovated, but I had no idea how they would look. It's a pretty standard room, but we were on the 34th floor, two floors from the top, and had a pretty nice view of the city. Ala Moana did a great job with their renovations. If you need to do any shopping while you're in Hawaii, it's extremely convenient since it's right next to Ala Moana Shopping Center and just down the road from other shopping complexes. The location is just on the edge of Waikiki, but at a good, central location if you need to leave the area and drive around. That checking in took at least 45 minutes. While I had a confirmation from Booking.com, apparently there was some kind of mix-up with my hotel reservation, and the hotel had to re-book me. Based on my previous statement, this also made me unsure and anxious about how my accommodations would turn out. I had no previous experience of staying at the Ala Moana Hotel, and no idea of the current conditions of the rooms. I was very nervous because I had someone splitting the room cost with me and didn't want them to have to stay in a possibly crappy hotel room for the duration of the weekend. If you plan to use Booking.com for your hotel reservation, I would highly recommend calling the hotel to confirm they have your reservation before you arrive. I don't think I will ever use Booking.com again if I don't have to.
