There are only two tables for the breakfats, and the choice is very limited
Would have liked a coffee pot in the room. All other inns that we stayed in have offered a coffee pot and coffeem
Kitchenette was sweet. Room was spacious enough. Semi-clean.
The older desk clerk was extremely rude, even offensive, also to a handicapped gentleman. The other two clerks were helpful enough. Very small breakfast room. AC went out, took a full night and day to get it fixed. Location is very boring.
The large room.
The reception guy who checked us in was very nice and helpful. There is always parking and the hotel is quiet and clean.
The interent reception was very little to none in my room. Breakfast was available but there wasn't much of an option or variety. There was only bagel s, muffin, orange juice, cereal, and coffee. Would like to see more.
Clean and nice rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Perfect WiFi connection.
It was quite far from the city center. Good bus connections but bus stops at midnight.
the room is huge, enough space for young kids to run around. With the kitchen inside, convenient for making simple meals for kids.
The blinds are in the room but the drapes are missing, so it is too bright in the morning when sun rise. Hard to sleep in.
Very friendly staff. Really quite on a Friday night.
Reception staff Clean room
Wi fi weak No tv chamnels
Complimentary breakfast, tea, and coffee was a welcome touch. The size of our room for what we paid was a pleasant surprise. The bathroom was clean, spacious, and well stocked. The little fridge and microwave were also appreciated.
Having a clock in the room would be very helpful!
Quality is mid range. But since i have frequent medical appts at OHSU , this is a good fit for my budget.
Mattress so hard it hurt to sleep on it! Hard to not slip in shower/tub. Should have a rollup rubber mat, as other hotels ive stayed in. Only enuff shampoo for ONE person, had two ppl in my party.
Friendly and affordable!!
Bed was a little firm but that's kind of a preference.
Bed not comfortable & only 2 pillows no extras..
Steven at the front desk was super nice and worked with us when we had to move our reservation. Clean and great affordable stay.
Bed was not very soft. Very firm. That's more of a preference than a problem.
I really liked the people who worked there. The room was super plain but clean and all newly remodeled with new paint and carpet. New toilet, shower and sink. The beds were comfortable, the breakfast was simple but good. I felt safe there
No refrigerator or microwave, no coffee service in our room. No hair dryer (got one at the front desk), hot water took 20 minutes to come on, no shampoo, no literature or communication (ie about wifi or how to reach front desk) in our room. Very bare bones, small window with no curtain.
Allowed us to check in early.
Staff didn't tell us about complimentary breakfast or serving times. No coffee pot in room. There was free coffee in the office but it was several hundred feet from our room and required me to go outside in inclement weather. We had a suite and it didn't have a couch, only two wooden chairs to sit in. No closet for hanging clothers, just a metal free standing rod.
Staff was friendly and very helpful. The bed was very comfortable. The quiet neighborhood meant theres was very minimal outside noise, though we could hear our neighbors when their kids were loud.
Fair or not, I judge many hotel breakfasts by weather or not they use smuckers jam. Smuckers is pure high fructose corn syrup and is a bell weather of the healthiness of your food quality. Good bread, though.
Clean and quiet
Bathroom was a bit run down, tub was worn, water pressure minimal, chips of paint missing
I liked Whitney - she was gracious and cheerful. I also liked the location - each to get to the City Center and routes to other places.
Room was not at all what was described and shabby too.
Clean and comfortable. It is in a quiet part of town so we were able to get a good nights sleep. This was important because we were just travelling through Portland.
