Location was near Alamo, Riverwalk. Close to highway access
Room had mold. A/C switch broke, luckily it came back on.
Close to downtown area.
Having to go to office daily to activate room card. Checking in and our room not available, sent to first available smoking across the street with young children. Staff not very nice.
I really enjoyed my stay. Didn't have any problems. Staff was very helpful and everywhere we wanted to go was within walking distance. Would love to go back again.
The only problem I saw was the restroom. It seems it had been sprayed for ants and we found a bunch but no one swept them up.
The ice machine didn't work and their was no service phone line.
The Location of the hotel it is close to the Alamo and from the riverwalk and rivermall
The Room Is very Noisy The Bathroom was not cleaned, I called the receptionist and ask for a better cleaning, when I returned to the room it was spot cleaned. The Breakfast is a Joke...
Had to pay for parking was told it was a city ordinance. Didn't Really Feel Safe there Either. Guess you get what u pay for but really didn't agree with having to pay to park at the motel that I just paid for a room but whatever
Close to the river walk
The staff was not good at all couldn't handle dealing with multiple guest at one time. Room was very ran down and oh ya there was a 10 parking fee added on to total price of hotel stay each night. Breakfast wasnt good at all wait was that breakfast? Cereal toast and Apple juice for 80 bucks a night no thank you
Bad: Internet connection Ugly: Facilities
Not far from riverwalk so we were able to walk to everything
I do not like that we had to pay for parking in the hotel parking lot. If I'm paying to stay there, I should not have to pay for parking as well. Also, lots of hidden fees and I was charged more than my booking price. I wanted to pay cash for the room and they ran my credit card without asking me and then told me I could pay cash but that it would take 7-10 days to receive my funds back on my account. We had to wait 2 hours after we got there to get our room. The room we got wasn't the room I had originally booked and front desk not only gave us a card to our room, but actually gave it to another family as well so we had to wait even longer to have that fixed. I will never stay here again!
AC didn't work and leaked on the carpet and outside of the room. Room was hot and staff never showed up to fix it. Staff wouldn't acknowledge reservations made on booking.com at the time if check in- took forever to get our rooms. Room had LOUD raccoons living in the ceiling (we saw them outside through holes in the rafters to verify). Trash from old tennants left in the room. Floor creaked and felt unsturdy on second floor near the wet spots. One bathroom light didn't work, staff never fixed. Room was above the janitorial room, we could hear staff shouting at each other several times during our stay. Our second room had the bathroom door lock on them and the staff just handed us a huge ring if keys and said "one of these should work". The only plus side is, when we checked out, they only charged a fraction of what they were threatening to (when they were not validating our online reservation prices). Would not stay at this hotel again under ANY circumstances. Thank you.
It was hot in there. The tv we had to get up a change the channel. And the blow dryer was not working
The tub is bad
Dirty, bathroom in bad conditions, bugs. Unprofessional staff. Overcharging credit card.
Overall experience was good
Staff told us check in was at 2:00pm but when we return at that time they told us that we would have to wait til 3:00pm cause the rooms weren't ready.
I only like the location
The hotel. The staff. the rooms.
The Alamo was about a 10mins walk away and the kids like the pool. The room was small but you pay for what you get right. Didn't expect it to wow me when I booked it.
The tv didn't work. The cord to the microwave didn't reach the outlet when it was sitting on top of the mini fridge so we had to put it on the floor just to plug it in.
The cost was exceptional, great! The staff especially housekeeping was great, although I left a stainless steel men's ring in the room (about a$40 value) haven't heard anything, I'm not sweating it.
Room was clean, but extremely dated. The room looked like it was stuck in the 70s. Curtains, comforters etc. Walls, door jam in bathroom, tile pained with paint (that was peeling) just didn't look professional. Loose outlets that wouldn't even support the weight of things plugged into them. Took me 30 mins to iron my pants cause the plug wouldn't stay in. It all just looked like a very poor diy job.
Location and parking.
Hot water was not even close to hot. Had to go get towels, tp and bedding every night of our stay. Very noisy.
They charge me more then my booking price and my first morning they don't clean the room
The beds were not comfortable.
Close to downtown
Location and qualiity
The Breakfast was not adequate or standard There were traces of some Bug. The landline waas tough using
close to riverwalk.
Limited breakfast -only Toast and 2 types of corn flakes were served. 2. The hotel is rather old.
Extremely dated hotel. Rates almost triple on weekend. Sticky mouse traps in room. This place really needs to invest some money in itself!!!! Also at a very noisy intersection...
Location..size of room..
Our bed was in very poor shape..it was so broken down that we had to struggle through the night. It was at a downward slant on one side. Poor nights sleep for us.
