The bed! And the clerk who relieved Yolanda, she was awesome.
Yolanda the clerk who said I didn't have a reservation cause she was to lazy to look for it and she was about to get off work
Free wifi ( But realm slow)
Old tube TVs. They never vacuumed the room 6 nights I was there. Inconsistent daily maid service. Peeling paint in the bathtub. No heavier blankets even during a regional coldsnap. NT
Staff very cooperative
Found a little black lizard in the room
The room renovations to this older hotel made it very comfortable. It was located within blocks of the conference that I was attending. It couldn't have been more convenient. I would definitely stay in this hotel again.
Very cold with no heat
the reason I booked this room is bc the page said nice rooms and the pics looked good. I booked a king size bed and when we got there the room had two double beds that weren't comfortable at all. They said we got what we they had available not what we booked! Very dissatisfied! The room was gross, shower looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. The floor hadn't been vacuumed. Just horrible experience overall!!
Nothing at all!
Room was dirty. Both rooms! We were given 2 different rooms! This was our anniversary trip and this hotel almost ruined our trip. Word of advice, spend the little extra and get a hotel worth your stay!
night staff rude ,lousy hot water ,no movie channels hbo pay per view ,old pillows .picture is old did not look like that
Location was great, very good price.
Needs new carpets and upgrade tv.
the household staff was very helpful
poor service at front desk, dirty rooms, musty smell in all rooms, A/C didnt work in three previous rooms that we were given to stay in, finally got a room with a/c but it smelled bad. when we left we took the smell of the room on the clothes we had. dont stay there.
location id good
bathroom and small insects found in bed
short easy walk to Convention Center, Riverwalk, and Alamo; comfortable and clean beds
no hot water in the shower; had to use bathroom sink for hand washing
The free breakfast was very poor, not enough seating and out of mostly everything when we went down at 8am, then they got mad, because we asked if they could restock it.
WiFi was good and bed was comfortable
Restrooms were horrible.they were old and dirty.TV did not have remote and some channels would not show.missing and non working appliances.had to switch rooms.VERY INCONVENIENT!!
Closeness to my conference venue
Lack of standard reception & restaurant
Easy to find off the highway. The lady at our check in was great finding us a room that was on the first floor. Even though I was hoping for a nonsmoking room and ended up with a smoking room the room did not smell bad at all. Staff was very friendly and ready to assist. A wonderful stay for a great price for one night. Wish our last hotel was as nice as this one.
The location was unbeatable . At first glance room was nice and a good size bathroom.
Only stayed 5 hours woke up to a nightmare BED BUGS . I had never seen anything like it, woke up my husband and we turned the bed covers cover and they were everywhere .WE PACKED UP AND LEFT ABOUT 2:00 in morning. We called and spoke to D told her and she said she would tell manager in the morning. No one has called us back! No way can a hotel not know they have this problem . Poor staff and hotel Beyond Poor
Being charged for parking
I have traveled outside the country the last couple of trips and they did not have a fridge...microwave or an iron in the room. This hotel had everything. They even had 5 pillows on the bed. I saw several of the reviews from other guests that were not that good but I thought the hotel was nice.
The bathroom was a little dated but worked great.
The Staff was excellent (especially Ruby) The location is excellent for sight-seeing. I was here for ten days and it was great.
The breakfast was skimpy, but free! So who can complain?
the whole stay the room was huge an felt like a queen in her castle..it was the king suite an was ablr to book it for $28:00 awesome
the only thing was no laundry for me to wash my clothes
The staff were friendly. Inn close to Riverwalk.
Bath tub beyond dirty. Had a bath mat that was slick and moldy underneath. Gross. Otherwise, fairly clean.
The cleanliness and the room service
The breakfast area is too small and right there where everyone checks in
