The staff was very attentive. They care for their patrons.
The $50 room was what you'd expect. I've stayed in youth hostels that were better.
They had a $50 room, the cheapest I could find for a "utility" overnight between two business days.
cramped room, poor location, the building is in bad need of general upkeep .... it's really on it's last legs.
Needed to be cleaned up outside.
Creepy location, garbage, (cess)pool behind chain link fence.
No bugs, no smell, had what we needed at low price. Friendly staff. Quiet.
Price was OK
Location just off I-5 was great. Everything worked and was clean. A good experience and I recommend them for their effort.
My husband and I trusted this was a decent safe place to stay while visiting family in Albany Oregon, unfortunately it was the exact opposite.I was appauld to come back to our room After a day of sight seeing ect.only to walk in to a unmade bed the tv we left on due to fear of break in was changed to a kids network, the only thing done was clean towels were put in the filthy bathroom that was not clean in the beginning anyways! The towels were very worn and badly stained. Had it not been such a busy weekend we surely would have demanded our money back and went to a safe clean place.never again will we try to save a buck, when I say unsafe thats not an exaggeration!
Not very clean, not a place I'd stay in consecutively
The staff were really nice and it was perfect for a one night stay
We didn't have high expectations, so were not surprised at the age of the place and the little things that show up after many years. But it was decently clean and our room was appropriately cared for while we were out.
Valu-Inn is a basic, no-frills hotel. Nothing fancy; nothing wrong. We were pleasantly surprised with the low level of traffic sounds from so close to highway and main road. It's an older facility which shows it's age, so don't expect anything but the basics. But was a good value for 2 nights and (contrary to some other reviews), we experienced nothing that made us feel insecure or unsafe.
we went to the restaurant next door for breakfast and returned to find our room being cleaned before we checked out.
The room was clean and priced right.
Minor maintenance needed. Handle accent on shower. Towel bar
Liked the cleanliness of the hotel. It is getting dated and needs a bit more maintenance. Reasonable rates. I'd definitely stay again. I'll make sure it has a tub if I needed one though.
It was COLD. If the heater wasn't on it became cold quickly.
The staff responded when I requested an extra blanket.
Run down room. Poor maintenance, a lot of broken stuff. Light bulbs, doors, shower door, no shampoo, just all around kinda dirty feeling. My wife would have not stayed there. But for a pinch it worked for me.
Location, staff !
Room needs major cleaning
A/c worked good
I liked that there is a microvave and fridge in the room and that wifi is free.
Not j ing
Cheap But not unclassy
Very run down
It was cheap
Nothing at all.
it was very relaxing and watch tv
The hot water, and water pressure not so good.
I loved the fact it was close to are venue. We only stayed in our room a total of, 45 min before bed, and 45 min after we woke up, so for the value it was great. The staff attentive and courteous.
Linens were dirty, Towels were old and VERY used, carpet had not been vacuumed, room had an unpleasant odor, obvious evidence of mildew which had been covered and painted.
I actually had some place to sleep.....Yeah
Decent place, it was clean and located near where I needed to be.
no fitted sheets, no shampoo/conditioner, small rough bathroom towels. Interior lights difficult to find.
size of the room for the price was great and so was the location.
Bed was hard
It's a hot shower and a bed...beats camping. Don't expect luxury and you get what you pay for.
