Room was clean and comfortable
Little over priced
Location - not much in the area for travellers in the evening.
Big room with view upon the city centre of Albany
Room not state-of-the-art bathroom to small
Position is not bad.
Lack of maintenance. We had a suite, but it was only a suite in name and price. It was in serious disrepair. Stay somewhere else.
Enjoyed the swimming pool.
Ilike the hotel beacous location facilities value for the money
have to be the room clean a liiltlel more small detels are left
The food wAs good
The room was no clean o dust rug stain
Overall quality of the hotel and staff
VERY overpriced for Bar Exam takers
They refused to provide access to a microwave. They front desk staff said, "we are out of microwaves!" What?My reservation was canceled by Hilton without my notification or authorization. During my stay the staff was mostly unfriendly. Most of them were completely not helpful and were not even trying to be helpful. The room facility and the room service food did not worth 1/3 of the price they charged for. The room price was inflated simply because of the ny state bar exam. This is my worst hotel experience!ever!!! If you don't have to stay here, don't!!! Never!!!
The service. Despite booking a double room with two beds we were given a room with a fold out bed and a cot. When we questioned why we had been given this room, we were told it was the only room available. This was a lie as when we complained we were given a double room and the porter who helped us move confirmed that the hotel was far from sold out. To make matters worse the room that we were given smelt very bad. The last occupant had obviously smoked in the room and the hotel had not bothered to air the room. When we asked why the room smelt so bad we were told that the hotel could not stop people from smoking. While this is true, the hotel should ensure that all rooms are clean before handing them over.
Location and value for money
The staff were very gracious and helpful. Room was excellent and food in the Charter also excellent. The business center gentleman was such a host and provided us good visitor information which really made our day tour a success.
bathroom floor could have been cleaner.
Clean, bright hotel w/ good room amenities/layout Cheerful staff
Room was too cold. Thermostat was o flimited help. Room price seemed slightly too high
The beds were comfortable
They double charged me and added a $50.00 incidental charge I finally had my money posted back into my account on Tuesday. The size of the bathroom was small and the tub was in poor condition
Location was excellent when attending event at the Times Union Center. Restaurant in hotel was very good for both dinner and breakfast.
No real problems yet. Some charges have been made to my credit card but then taken off again the next day. Hopefully this situation will correct itself by weeks end.
Nice bar and lobby.
We forgot a toiletry bag in the bathroom. lost and found has no record of finding anything. My guess is housekeeping took it and all its contents. They say they cannot do anything else.
we were told that my family (staying in separate rooms...one being a suite) would be on the same floor. We were there for my granddaughters college graduation.
My daughter was put on the 2nd floor...while the other two rooms were on the 13th....which made it hard for us to visit with one another. She did not call to change rooms immediately as she does not have the big mouth her mother (myself) has! She was credited the $13. parking fee when we complained at checkout. She also did not have a refrigerator in the room....there was only 1 towel and all in all she did not get her monies worth. Her name is Nina DeMar and she stayed on May 17th (also to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary)...so it became difficult to get back and forth between rooms without the elevator ride. Thank you for asking my opinion. Patricia DeMar
The pillows were comfortable! The guy from room service was excellent!
Location is good, room is comfortable
Hotel was in the midle of the Town. Close to the local Attractions.
Breakfest buffet was not available. Answer was, stuff did not prepare it today. We were there on a Saturday, strange... Cereals where handed out in plasic boxes like you get them in one star motels. Was not Hilton like.
All but one staff very appropriate and friendly. The place was attractive.
Sheets on the bed were dirty. Room temperature was difficult to control. It was way too hot. Tomato soup over sweet but I guess that's just a personal thing. And more funny than an issue, the elevator went the wrong way when pressing for the pool level from the lobby. Food was bad. Room wasn't equipped very well.
Extremely nice staff, location is superb and rooms are really spacious.
Unprofessional front desk staff. No help with internet log on problems. Cold pool/filthy spa. No showers/changeroom in pool or gym area. Dirty linen cart in hall late at night. Awkward parking arrangement/parking fee. Poor sound isolation between rooms. No control of heat in rooms.
I stayed there for the bar exam. It was close to the convention center and it was easy to get from the train station (there was a shuttle car too). The staff, especially the one working in the lounge were very nice. It was so very convenient to have snacks and light food in the lounge at all time as well as a fridge in the room.
The woman at check in was extremely friendly and happy.
The booking was put on my credit card but not under my name which was frustrating.
