Beautifully decorated and friendly, efficient staff
Albuquerque is the biggest city in New Mexico in the USA and home to the International Balloon Fiesta during October. Rich in history, this beautiful destination has Pueblo Revival-style architecture with Sandia Mountains in the background.
Popular from the Bugs Bunny cartoon phrase, ‘I knew I should’ve taken that left turn at Albuquerque’, this metropolitan place is crossed by the Rio Grande River. Travellers should not miss the city’s old town with the 18th-century buildings, narrow streets and cosy restaurants serving Mexican dishes.
Lush in greenery, Albuquerque features the Rio Grande Botanic Garden and the Rio Grande Zoo. You can take the Sandia Peak Tramway and enjoy the panoramic views of the city, the mountains and the surrounding areas.
The Albuquerque International Sunport is located 6.3 km away and serves Albuquerque and Santa Fe. Booking.com will help you find the right hotel, motel or inn in Albuquerque and the nearby towns of Rio Rancho, Mesa Village and Alameda.
We were only able to stay a single night. We look forward to returning to Albuquerque to explore the area. We were able to dine in the Old Town area and walk around a bit, but there is much more to the city. Next time!

Wonderful part of NM but you have to watch the neighborhoods you go to in the city itself. It is a wonderful home base for traveling around northern NM as it is less expensive than Santa Fe. Great restaurants like El Patron and Flying Star and don't miss Old Town or the BioPark. Its nice East/West street orientation makes is easy to get around and both 40 and 25 are good roads.

Traffic congestion, everyone speeding and tailgating, trash...
Traffic congestion, everyone speeding and tailgating, trash blowing around, homeless people everywhere, and unsafe. Very hot in summer months, dusty, and dry. Flat roof and stucco architecture result in a third world country appearance.
People are friendly, and it has an old world sort of charm. The national parks are interesting, as are the science and hot air balloon and telephone museums. The tram to the Sandia ski lift is scenic. Great Mexican food.

This is a city you should avoid... coming in on the highway...
This is a city you should avoid... coming in on the highway from the West, the first thing you see is drifts of trash along the highway. When you get closer, it just seems like fentanyl and homelessness central. It does have some nice places for sure, such as the Southwest jewelry shopping. I'm sure a lot of people would point to worse cites like Chicago, but still there are much nicer cities.
Lovely big room with large bed , bonus was the small dining table and chairs . We have been travelling in America for 2 weeks and the breakfast here was the best so far , Cereal, yogurt, fruit, breads , pancakes, scrambled egg & bacon , the lady who was in charge of breakfast room was always topping up the cooked food and keeping everything clean . Definitely one of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed in while in the USA.
We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Hotel Albuquerque at Old Town. The room was a bit dated but nice. The balcony had a really nice view but didn't have any patio furniture, which was a bit of a bummer. With all that being said, the staff was top notch(they were quick to provide recommendations and I enjoyed being able to text them) and our hotel was very walkable to Old Town.
Property is well located near the airport but also near central avenue in Nob Hill which has good restaurants and coffee shops (10min by car). Staff was great. I saw they had a pool but I didn’t use it. Room is spacious. The hotel is outdated so the bed and the couch were uncomfortable. And the bathroom needed more cleaning.
Very grateful for shuttle to/from the airport. We could walk to several restaurants and got good recommendations from the staff. The rooftop bar was nice (amazing pretzels!!!). The courtyard area was pretty and the room itself was comfortable and spacious. Nice touch to have coffee in the hallway at 6am.
Uptown Albuquerque location close to major freeways and restaurants. Ample parking and a very nice lobby complement this very clean hotel. Staff was friendly and accommodating w Covid protocols adhered to. Nice place to wait out a winter storm.Pet friendly is a plus for us
The Hotel Albuquerque is my new home while in town. Fabulous hotel, beautifully decorated, great beds and clean!
As a Marriot Titanium member, I got tired of Marriot Albuquerque properties not being up to standard.
The hotel Albuquerque is Highly recommend
We viewed our room and surrounding area of the hotel and felt very unsafe and decided to not stay I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone who has standards and not willing to feel unsafe and uncomfortable it was nothing like the photos posted.
Comfortable, clean, quiet. Acceptable breakfast. There is a free bus that goes from the airport to the Amtrak station in town. It will stop near the hotel if you ask the driver. There are a few chain restaurants in walking distance.
The breakfast and service were amazing. The property is right on Old Town Albuquerque, so the location couldn't be beat. The cottage (room) was comfortable and unique; it didn't feel like a hotel, rather a little room in a garden.
Location of hotel was great! View from hotel was exceptional, had a view of Uptown area. Very close proximity to stores, mall, restaurants etc. Will definitely book at this hotel again and will recommend to friends and family.
Hotel room was fairly clean (some long hairs found in the bathroom). Breakfast open early, your standard hotel offerings. Not a bad location, near airport and I-25, seemed relatively safe. Near to restaurants, etc.
Really comfortable beds, very clean rooms, and it felt very safe. The breakfast is the best breakfast I've ever had while staying at a hotel. Made right in front of you omelettes and other good food.
Wonderful place, close to downtown and old town. Perfect accomodation for 2-4 persons. Very well equipped.
We enjoyed this real home away from home so much. Highly recommended: 10plus.
Expected a basic hotel, but this place was well maintained, clean and quiet. It's an especially good location if you want to spend time as we did in Old Town Albuquerque.
Great location for Old Town Albuquerque’s shops, restaurants and art museum. Lovely setting in well maintained grounds. Lots of plants, burbling fountains and seating.
